As a Community Manager, I have partnered with ASR Companies on a range of projects, including concrete replacement, mold remediation, stair replacement, crawl space inspections and repairs, water intrusions and deck replacements.

ASR demonstrates strong communication throughout each project, from initiation to completion. Their work consistently exceeds quality standards, and there have been no unresolved issues to date.

They have become a trusted and reliable vendor for the maintenance and repair of Owner-residences.

ASR has been reliable and always show up with a smile on their face. Trela Hendrix greatly assisted us with a large gas issue onsite. Highly recommend!

This company is excellent!!!! They're very methodical in their solution plans and they hire the absolute best people. Further, the employees are treated with respect which speaks volumes for ASR. They work closely with insurance companies and keep the client posted at every step. This is a professional operation: hard to find such dedication to fixing an issue. Management top-notch. Employees: the best.

I have used ASR for ACM abatement and water mitigation and they have not disappointed. Dave Fleck has been nothing but professional and his experience is very evident in every business dealing. I look forward to possibly working with ASR again in the near future. If you are looking for a contractor for your projects I highly recommend Dave and his team.

Hire these folks if you want your neighbors to hate you - even after asking 1-3 hours in advance, this company’s crew has blocked us in our garage instead of using the space that they’re doing the work. We asked them to give us enough space to leave during lunch, and instead they left all their equipment to block our way. The person on site was unprofessional.

We hired ASR to extract about 8 inches of water from an 18,000 SF area of a basement garage. They were recommended by our building manager. ASR sent a crew of 5 or 6 mostly very young men, who worked all night for about 12 hours. They came back a week later and spent 6 hours or so with a front loader and 2 guys with shovels to remove about 10 cubic yards of dried mud from one corner. They hauled it off in a utility trailer towed by a 3/4 ton pickup.

They left standing water and dirt behind but we couldn't really say anything about the quality of the work because it was an emergency and they had us cornered. Their crew was often observed standing around doing nothing. This was brought to the attention of the owner but he did nothing about it.

We declined to hire them for any further work and did the final cleaning ourselves with a household tools including a garden hose, shovels, and a shop vac.

We were not too concerned until we got the bill: More than $55,000. No, I am not making this up. More than fifty-five thousand dollars for less than 20 hours of work and the use of a couple of pieces of equipment.

We certainly expected to pay a lot for this work, maybe even as much as $10,000 or possibly more if they could itemize it. But seriously, an otherwise blank invoice for almost sixty grand? Not even close. Moral of the story: Beware hiring people to do emergency work. Shame on us for trusting them based on our manager's recommendation only and not demanding an exact price up front.

I manage warranty for a large new home builder and have utilized ASR on a variety of repairs/mitigations/remediations etc.. Their scope of ability is wonderful. Professionalism and communication are top notch. Customer service both to me and owners is second to none—even when we present ASR with last minute changes or after hours requests! Cannot say enough good things. In a time where it is increasingly hard to find good people and companies to sub contract work, ASR stands out above the rest. Give them a calm and find out for yourself!

I can't say enough how great this company is. They were extremely responsive, professional and honest every time I spoke with each of their representatives. I truly felt like I had an advocate in my corner when dealing with my insurance company. I definitely trust them and appreciate their customer friendly approach when working with me. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

This is possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with, no call backs no returned calls. Naomi is the most unprofessional and unreliable person I have ever met. I regret even considering this company. Please do not even bother with them. You will truly be disappointed in their service. They do not return texts or phone calls. My only recourse is to spread the word amongst family , friends a coworkers as to how bad this company service or reliability is. You will notice most of their reviews are from years past. This company misses appointments and is very unreliable.

Employees can't tell time or report to jobs on schedule. Boss can't hear anything even though I have his call recorded and what time I said he could have them be to my house after his employees missed their 8 to 12 arrival window. Don't deal with this company if you can avoid it because Dave Fleck (manager) lies to protect his own company when I said I would be back between 1 and 2 pm and they could come during that window, he asked me what they needed to do because he was not even aware what the job was even though he spoke to the warranty manager of the Dreamfinders House builders.

As a customer care representative for a local home builder, I've used ASR on about 10 projects over the last year. Each time, a skilled leader was present to oversee the detection and repairs of the work we needed. They have provided us with brick, stucco, drywall and paint repairs as well as smoke remediation from fire damage and water resistance barrier issues. I would recommend them to anyone who wants their job done well and done right - the first time.

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service, quality, and integrity I have experienced with your company. It's rare to find such a commitment to excellence, and I wholeheartedly recommend Chris Boortz and ASR Companies to anyone seeking outstanding service.

ASR is currently doing work at my apartment complex and the experience has been beyond unprofessional. They’ve kicked things around in my home, Used my personal pet blankets to wipe up water that they spilled (Mind you, A mop was already out), Even put their asbestos shoes on my kitchen counter just to tie them. They used my dish sponge for who knows what…It was left completely black. They connected a hose under my sink and openly said they were going to “keep quiet” about using my water, Which like…okay?? On top of that, They’ve been leaving my lights on. So THANK YOU for the extra dollars added to my utility bills this month due to your carelessness. The lack of respect for my home and my belongings is unacceptable. Someone from the leadership team was kind enough to reach out, But unfortunately the on site behavior hasn’t changed. One worker in particular (Tom…lol) continues to act unprofessional and hostile. I don’t care how stressed he is. Residents should not have to deal with his attitude. Blocking my way when I’m walking dogs, Y’all are sitting on the stairs and doorways when the other entrance is blocked off for asbestos abatement, That’s not only inconsiderate but also retaliatory after I voiced concerns. You can sit outside or move out of the way, It’s that simple. If one of these dogs bite you, Then what??? When I see a dog I don’t know, I move out the way. I shouldn’t feel uncomfortable in the building I pay to live in just for looking out my window while waiting for someone. Having workers stare up at me like I’m watching them is unnecessary. No one wants to waste their time staring at you. The work may get done eventually, But the unprofessionalism, Retaliation, And lack of respect from certain ASR workers makes the entire experience EXTRA miserable.

Dave Fleck and the field work was good and profesional. Back office is terrible as we got the invoice 9 months after the claim was closed by State Farm in December 2024, in spite of asking for it many times during the claims process and connecting them with our claims agent. East West Urban Management said they had heard from three other families who were contacted by ASR's collections agent today, 8/26/2025 on this same incident. They don't have their act together and their email was a nasty one saying they were turning everythign over to a claims attorney.

These guys are working on a building next to my job. I work in a busy area. I try to park in the same spot so I have two hours before I have to move. I arrived at work before they did and parked, like normal. They sprayed some chemical all over a loaner vechile I was borrowing from a dealership! Afterwards, they decided to put up red tape. Not before, after. When I went to ask about it, suddenly no one knew anything. Luckily, the car wash I paid for cleaned it off. These people are extremely unprofessional.

I recently worked with ASR for a mold restoration project, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the dedication and professionalism shown by their entire team.

From the beginning, Dave’s team handled the mold restoration with incredible care and precision. They made sure all proper procedures and safety precautions were followed — taping off affected areas and keeping everything contained and secure. Noemmi was also wonderful to work with, extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and kind, which made a stressful process so much easier.

A huge thank you as well to Rob, the Project Director, who helped pull together the entire team and made sure the right people were in the right places. His leadership and coordination ensured the project was always in the best of hands.

When we moved into the reconstruction phase, Jon, the Superintendent, was absolutely amazing. He was communicative, transparent, and guided me through every step. His knowledge and attention to detail made a huge difference, and he made sure the space was left spotless and ready to go once the work was complete.

Being out of my home for over 100 days was a sad and frustrating experience, but ASR’s entire team truly supported me through it. They were respectful of my home, included me in their processes, and consistently kept me informed. Every person I interacted with was kind, empathetic, and genuinely cared about doing things right.

I’m beyond thankful for the entire ASR team and the pride they take in their work. I hope all the good energy, effort, and positivity they put into this project comes back to them tenfold!

Started out fine on our kitchen renovation project. However in the end dropped the ball to focus on other more profitable jobs and never responded to voice mails and texts to finish the remaining 15 % of the job . Needed to find another contractor to finish the job
Not sure how someone can run a business this way
Would not recommend using this company
Also what we ended up paying was much more than initial contract due to some changes and again he never finished the job
Our neighbor recommended him while in middle of their project and to our understanding they have some of the same issues
