We had a large stump that needed to be removed from our backyard near a fence corner. The team arrived on time and took great care to not disturb the fence much around the stump. In a field where it can sometimes feel like a gamble if you will find a professional who is reliable and performs good work, we hit the jackpot finding Colorado Stump Removal! Every box you can tick, they blew off the board -- reliable, honest, HARD WORKING, good value, kind, timely, responsive, aware of surroundings/property and on-top of daily cleanup. We had a very large job for them to undertake; demolishing a large 980sqft cinder block building with many chain link pens and a large tree stump. These two men were dedicated to getting this job done well and quick. We are a non-profit mental health center called Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado, Chris was extraordinarily generous and donated a large portion of the job to our organization. With all of that said we will always come back to Colorado Stump Removal for any business moving forward and highly recommend them!

Highly recommend. We contacted several companies to do stump removal - these folks were very responsive and were able to do a quote via email - had us take some photos, they provided a competitive proposal and we decided to use them for the job. They got us into the schedule very quickly, showed up on time and got the job done in a professional manner. So, big thumbs up when a company does what they say they will do, does it on time, and does it professionally!

Colorado Stump Removal was quick to answer inquiry, on a Saturday and had it removed by Tuesday. Chris was professional , quick and the job was well executed.
Their prices were competitive, $850 for a very large maple stump. I have had 3 large trees removed this year, by other companies, this was my best experience with stump removal.

We needed quite a few stumps removed from a section of our yard that we were trying to lay down landscaping fabric on and needed it done quickly. Colorado Stump Removal came to give us an estimate quickly, and was a better price than most. When they came to do the job, they not only removed the stumps perfectly, they cleaned the area professionally. The gentleman I worked with was super friendly and efficient - will use him in the future and refer him to friends and neighbors!

Colorado Stump Removal had removed a large silver maple stump and old wood patio deck for us. So of course we called Chris about trimming up a evergreen tree in our front yard. Chris gave a bid, and day he would do the job and within 4 days of calling the job was done. We called one other service and they would not even come out for a bid until weeks later! The Tree looks great and he did a very nice clean up and hauling away the downed branches. This company is the best.

Chris and Lauren were terrific - friendly, professional, experienced and skilled. Chris uses top-of-the-line equipment, allowing him to grind stumps more quickly and efficiently than would be the case with other equipment. His company is insured. He was able to set up a schedule to get the work done in a timely manner, as opposed to several companies that I called that said that they wouldn't be able to get the work done for as long as eight to ten weeks from the time of my inquiry. He ground out two stumps from 40 year old trees in our front lawn, and his work was efficient and reasonably priced. His equipment allows him to grind about 15 inches below surface level - this is much deeper than other companies often offer (typically about 4 to 8 inches) , and at a price that is about 40% lower than some other companies I researched that state that they will grind out to a similar depth. Chris' pricing included removing the ground up stump material (a service for which a number of other companies charge up to several hundreds of dollars more for). Chris also arranges for having the utility locator service to come out and mark the standard utility lines before he starts his work. One of the stumps of our trees was close to the gas line that ran through our front yard, and he was particularly cautious in making sure the work that he performed did not compromise that gas line. He and Lauren completed the stump prep(i.e., moving the mulch away from the stumps, placing protective tarps and screening), grinding, and removal of stump material, in about an hour, leaving our property in great shape. He is rightfully proud of the work that he does and the great equipment that he uses, and it shows in his approach and attitude about his work; not only that, but he genuinely enjoys what he does. I recommend him wholeheartedly and would use him again in a heartbeat.

You will get a quality job from Chris and his company. I had him remove two stands of aspen and grind out some additional stumps remaining from another contractor. Everything about the job went smoothly - good communication prior to coming out, he and crew showed up as expected, and completed their work to my satisfaction. Their equipment is well maintained, they are experts with it, and ensure that everything is cleaned up before leaving. My job took portions of two days and Chris made sure everything was cleaned up both days. He handled getting underground power lines marked, ground stumps well below surface level (12”-16”), and backfilled the holes. He offer very reasonable and fair pricing. I will use him again and will recommend him to friends and neighbors.
