Jose and his team took care of a water damage in my home. They were very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process. They made a stressful experience a lot easier!

Absolutely pathetic organization. Nothing but insurance chasers. Did not follow standard protocol for mold remediation even though there was step by step instructions provided by a air quality firm.
Failed to prevent the spread of mold throughout the house due to improper work habits.
Failed to protect our property during remediation causing more damage to the home.
Failed to put dehumidifiers in the house during hot Florida days,, for mold removal this is unheard of yet, they charged the insurance company thousands for so called mold removal.
Reported this firm to Servpro Headquarters as well as the BBB of Central Florida.
The need new leadership within the office otherwise they will fold.
I strongly caution anyone before using this company franchise

Servpro Altamonte is a franchise that offers quality work. Kattar is extremely knowledgeable. He looks at the broader scope of what can be involved with a ceiling leak. His shared knowledge was very valuable. He is courteous, punctual, and work very profesional, the same as Victor, and Jesus. When deciding between different Servpros, I recommend you choose this franchise and request Kattar

Had an odor in my home that I couldn't pinpoint but Servpro was able to get it out. Kattar and Victor did and amazing job cleaning and deodorizing, highly recommended team!!

First, let me start by saying that mold problems in the home have been a bit overhyped. If you are not otherwise immune compromised, or have respiratory health issues, then mold or mildew is not the lethal, hazmat, biological weapon you might have been led to believe. If it were truly that dangerous, none of us would get into our bathroom showers without respirators.

Some remediation companies have taken advantage of that fear to oversell their services. Two other companies that I had come do an estimate were committed to pulling down half the drywall and all of the ceiling. ServPro was much more reasonable and measured in their approach, even from the first phone call. They realized our mold problem could be safely and effectively resolved with a complete and careful wipe-down process, and fogging. This made the job shorter, less costly, and with less reconstruction for me to do afterward. Maybe it's because ServPro has been doing this kind of work since long before mold became the bugaboo it is today — they know the difference between what is really hazardous and what is just mildly gross, and don't fleece their customers for the one when it's just the latter.

And if you are a DIYer like me, they can work with you. I saved on the price by me being the one to remove the soft and fabric items like carpet, drapery, sofa, etc, out to the curb for free pick up by our regular waste management service. The other companies wanted to wrap and tape it, and then add on a hazardous biological disposal fee.

The manager and his crew were pleasant and personable. They were usually on time, but if they were running a little late they would call ahead to tell me. They worked hard, diligently, and with careful attention to detail. Because of that, the job took an extra day to complete. But we all agreed — better done right than too fast. And there was no extra cost for the added day.

The end result is excellent. No mass demolition for me to rebuild. Just a good, fresh paint job and it will be a new room.

If your mold problem is big, really dark, and you think you might have heard it growling at you, be sure to include ServPro in your list of expert remediation companies to come asses it and give you a quote. But if your job is minor, like mine was, don't bother calling anybody but them — they will match the right level of effort to the level of the problem. Other companies might want to charge you much more for over-doing the job.

Kattar & Victor came to my work and cleaned a large room for us. They did a wonderful job. Very professional and nice. Would recommend them for sure

We learned the hard way that they will charge so much money for an extraction and we were told it is industry standard pricing. They expected us to call our insurance company to pay for the $1,800 + bill for a 2 day job. We called in our company that does our work on our property and for taking care of the wet walls, carpet ect for 4 days no more than $500 so far. Not at all what we expected for our industry standards unfortunately.

Kattar & Víctor did clean up for my condo after roof blew over & caused water damage. Kattar was good about communicating about progress & took pictures to keep me updated. I had surgery & was out of town & still have not been able to see the condo. Kattar was easy to get hold of & answer questions.

Half of my house had to be demo because a toilet in the second floor overflowed damaging the ceiling from the first floor. I called the office and Luisana was pretty fast in getting a team out to extract water, Eduardo and Francisco took care of remediation and Nathan was in charge of the reconstruction. Kattar and Víctor can out and made sure our entire house was clear. They continued to check each day that no mold was growing and brought all equipment needed. They were so professional and comforting through this extremely difficult process.

Not only was he knowledgeable and professional but extremely honest and helpful. He gave us a lot of helpful tips and hints beyond what we called him out for. It's good to know that there are still companies out there that care about people and are trustworthy.
