The previous owner Antonio was amazing but unfortunately he retired and sold business to a young punk that's a thief and installed mini split unit incorrectly and he keeps lying about fixing it and now wants to try to get more money and told me he didn't care if I report him to DBPR. I have worked for many years with previous owner and never ever had a problem like this before. I'm sharing my experience so you don't have to ever find yourself in my position with an unethical person that doesn't care about doing things right.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!
Apparently the company was sold , or changed owners. ANTONIO that used to work there, was a knowledgeable technician, class act and knew what he was doing.
Now, with this new ownership, nothing is fixed, you have to KEEP CALLING AND I insisting them to come back and make sure the work is done right!!! After almost of $6000 spent on a brand new unit, you think the A/C will work properly.

Apparently there has been a lot of buying and selling of A/C companies in Florida over the last few years. I was totally satisfied with my A/C company for over 30 years. Unfortunately he retired and sold the company. I have had units replaced in 2 different houses and twice in 1 condo, so I have direct experience with costs and maintenance When I needed a new A/C for the condo, I called the company who had purchased my prior contractor's company. Installation went fine, all normal. 6 month checkup fine. One year checkup I was told I needed to spend about $2500.00 to get some kind of line replaced going from my air handler to my compressor . I was told that they might have to put a few holes in my walls in order to accomplish. Thank God, no holes needed.

Did I need that repair?

I called to book my next maintenance call. I have had every unit I have ever owned serviced every 6 months. I know the drill and importance. They came in and told me I needed about $2500 worth of new work done. They showed me pictures of the damage. I was a bit overwhelmed, but I need A/C so that's it. Subsequent to that, I had my garbage disposal go down. I had a TRUSTED plumber come in to do the work. I related my story and asked if he knew of a TRUSTED A/C contractor.

He recommended Xtreme to me.
I called Xtreme. They arrived next day and I asked them to assess my A/C situation.

They did. Turns out that some of the pictures were not even of my equipment.

Let that sink in.

I have lived in Florida over 30 years. To take advantage of retired people, which I am, is inexcusable.

He didn't have to do this, but he wanted to make sure everything was okay. His expertise and advice was much-appreciated.

My experience with Kool Ray Air Conditioning for my AC Unit replacement was great from start to finish. Gary was very knowledgeable and communicative, the service reps were timely and professional, and the admin kept me informed on all schedule/timing updates. The price for the unit replacement was reasonable and cheaper than other quotes I received. Definitely recommend!
