ZHL is the best in the business. We had a failed drain field and a cracked septic tank that hadn’t be fully pumped/inspected in years (due to poor service from other companies that didn’t do the job right). Replacing your septic tank and drain field is an intimidating job as a home owner. ZHL’s communication, attention to detail, customer service, and professionalism made it as easy as it possibly could be. While I hope I don’t have to replace a septic tank or drain field anytime in the near future, ZHL has earned a lifelong customer here. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I highly recommend Haley and her husband's company. They are a family owned business here in Jacksonville.... I needed a septic tank company to come in and replace the septic tank within 2 weeks to make a closing happen, and they were able to get it done ASAP.... they also beat everyone else's quote.

If you need your septic pumped out read this…last year we had our septic pumped out by Acme Septic, big mistake. I now know a septic has a divider thus requiring two separate pump outs. Acme only did one🙁. This left us having to have another pump out in 12 months time. Fortunately ZHL was referred to us and we are very great-full as they now are our go to on any septic issues. Joe showed up with his partner, who didn’t talk much, but he had mastery of a shovel the way Bob Ross did with a paint brush. Joe after locating our septic informed us that only one of the baffles had been pumped out originally, our filter was missing/never installed, and our lid was faulty all of which would allow sediment and stuff you don’t want in your drain field. Btw, the price was the same as Acme Septic they just did the job professionally and correctly.
They are our new septic go to now, plus billing was easy in the form of a text. Only downside was they didn’t have refrigerator magnets on hand for reference next time, as thats the gold standard in our house, if you get on our fridge then your the 💩

ZHL Septic was upfront, honest, and professional from the start. They were fully capable of handling the job, but due to unexpected scheduling shifts, they let us know right away rather than making us wait. Instead, they referred us to another trusted septic company that could take care of the issue sooner. Even the company they referred us to spoke highly of them, saying they would’ve done right by us as well. Their transparency and customer-first approach were truly appreciated, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them in the future!

The employees at ZHL septic services are completely out of this world AMAZING when it comes to their service. I want to thank Mr Tyler, and Mr Augustine for their wonderful pump out service and inspection. They went above and beyond even when they had 3 people watching them lol. They were so professional and polite and even funny, which was a nice refresher from other companies ive used before. I want to thank those 2 again! I would also like to give a shout out to Jeremiah my guy on the money side and Hailey the quoter! Jeremiah helped me to understand all my questions about the pricing of things and he was such a joy to talk on the phone to. He seems genuinely happy to be at his job doing what he does and when I tell you how much that makes a difference when choosing who replaces your SEPTIC TANK well it means a whole lot bc who wants some miserable person working on possibly the most important part of a house?! I don't. OK i am finally at the last person ive had contact with at ZHL services and it was the person who did the quote for the complete rehaul of our septic tank, which is a complete steal compared to other companies I won't name here but anyways Hailey, she was beyond magnificent when dealing with questions from my 87 year old grandpa. He is hard of hearing and a pain in the tuckus and he had the same questions after questions after comments after questions. I mean it was on speaker for the whole family and when I say he pretty much interrogated this woman, I'm NOT exaggerating!..lol and Hailey did not flinch, I mean she kept her cool and you could hear a smile on her face the whole time, she was caring and patient and answered all the same questions over and over with not a hint of frustration, I mean you can't get that kind of loving service just anywhere. Thank you thank you thank you. I have only had little interaction with this company so far but if I'm literally this impressed then I can't wait to see how much better it can get, and I'm not paid, I'm not friends nor family but I am a satisfied customer to the 1000% !!!

Our septic tank was full, so we made a few calls to have the tank pumped out. ZHL septic services were by far the best choice. They are kind and informative. They explained the process and cost over the phone. When the guys arrived, it was no different. I'm a curious person, so I had a lot of questions, and they answered them all! They thoroughly checked for damages and were done relatively quickly! I highly recommend this company for your septic care needs

I made a call about 8:30 in the morning because bathrooms stopped working. I was pretty sure that we needed a septic tank pump out. A few hours later the truck was there ready to fix the problem. They confirmed that we needed a pump out. In just a little while they were all done. Even put the grass back making everything look good. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Both gentlemen were nice and professional. The price was very reasonable as well. Highly recommend this company. I will never go anywhere else.

We needed our system pumped out and called ZHL (now Dr Poo). Mike and Brian were the guys who came out this morning and they were great! Arrival time was communicated and they were here within their stated timeframe. They were friendly and answered all my questions about the system and tank and showed me everything I was asking about. For a crappy situation, they were wonderful!!

I would give them 10 stars if I could… And I'm not even a customer yet!
I had initially left a negative (1 star) review because I called and could not get past the robotic menu. I did this three times before I left a bad review.
BUT… Jeremiah with ZHL services called me not even two hours after I left my initial review and explained they were having a technological issue with their phone system. I work with computers all the time, I understand how that is.
But that is not why I'm choosing to update this review. I wasn't expecting to hear back from anyone, and I REALLY wasn't expecting it to be a phone call that made a stressful day better.
But it was, indeed, just that. Jeremiah was so friendly and understanding; he thanked me for my feedback and, when I offered to take down the review, he said I didn't need to do that. He asked me about my day and made sure I didn't need anything else. I am not even a customer, I didn't pay them anything. He just cares.
That's why I am updating this review as high as I possibly can, because they care about more than their customers, they care about people. Even though I'm not a customer yet, I promise you, I will be.
