Just like every other unprofessional contractor in Miami that makes up stories and never shows up. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Eric was supposed to come and give me an estimate for my bathroom and way before my appointment time even started, he texted me and said I didn't "confirm" so he left the area way before our appointment was even supposed to begin. Didn't respect my time or even give me any time whatsoever. Rude when I called him out on it and just unprofessional. I blocked off my afternoon for this and he couldn't even bother to respect that. I'm glad others have had better experiences but mine was definitely unpleasant. I can't say I recommend them.

Best contractor I have ever done business with, and I have been in business for over 15 years buying and flipping houses and I had my fair share of contractors in miami, professional, fair , good price, I felt like I hired a family member- he looked out for me and advice me the correct way, I couldn’t ask for more . 5 stars is not enough.

We found EJD Construction using Angie's List. We had what we thought was a major water leak issue, possibly involving the foundation. It turned out to be the guest bath shower, and probably something a good handyman could have done. We had to replace 500sq feet of flooring, and all the bathroom fixtures had to be removed so the leak could be found and fixed.

During the 5 day project, the workers were on time and professional. They all wore masks and gloves. Eric, the owner was always available if there was a question. The repair work was very professional, and the workers left no mess at the end of each day.

We couldn't be more pleased with the way the job went, and the fact that they met each of their timelines. It may have been a small job for them, but we are so pleased to have our house back.

We would definitely hire them again for any large repair, remodel or new construction job. It was so pleasing to work with a contractor who actually told us what they would do, and then did it.

****We later used EJD to raise our Florida room by six inches to stop periodic flooding. It was a messy job but they completed it on time and to the same standard as the previous job. These guys are great!

Can’t say enough about the professionalism that I encountered with EJD. The extreme attention to the details and the curtesy of answering all my questions from start to finish was unparalleled to any other past experience that I’ve had with similar companies. However, I must acknowledge that the timeline for the project was longer than initially anticipated. The entire process took almost two years to complete, which was longer than we had hoped for. Living in Miami, I understand that various factors can impact construction timelines, many of which are beyond the contractor's control. We faced several challenges related to permits and approvals, which unfortunately added significant delays to the project. These delays were frustrating at times, but I am grateful for EJD Construction's patience and perseverance in navigating the bureaucratic hurdles.

Despite the extended timeline, I am delighted with the end result. Our home addition seamlessly blends with the existing structure, and the kitchen and bathrooms have been transformed into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. The quality of workmanship is evident in every detail, from the tiling in the bathrooms to the custom cabinetry in the kitchen.

In conclusion, while the timeline for our home addition and remodel was longer than expected due to permit and approval issues, I am extremely satisfied with the work done by EJD Construction. Their professionalism, honesty, and commitment to delivering a high-quality product were evident throughout the project. I now have a beautiful and functional living space that I can enjoy for years to come, and I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone in need of home renovation or remodeling.

EJD Construction deserves more than 5 stars! We hired them to build an addition/convert part of our garage into an indoor space and the were able to complete the job within the time frame quoted.

Even with weather delays, a few hiccups (to be expected) and change orders, EJD and the team did exactly what they said they would do. We love our new space and couldn't be happier.

Permits, communication, daily recaps/photos etc...if you're looking for a GC, do yourself a favor and call Eric and his team!

We worked with EJD Construction on a fairly extensive kitchen remodel, and were very happy with their work product and professionalism throughout the whole process. The scope of the project included demoing the old kitchen, along with an adjoining wall, opening up the space, redoing the floors, cabinetry, finishing a wall/pass-through area, installing appliances, and of course painting, cleaning, removal of debris.
