Paul Davis Restoration did a fine job repairing the damage to our house from Hurricane Helene in a timely and accurate manner.

Do not ever use this company. The work is shoddy at best. The owners don't care and talk down to you. If you want to be spoken to like a child and have to hire someone to fix their work then by all means hire this company. If you want it done right go somewhere else. I'm now having to fix my roof that they replaced a year ago due to their contractor not replacing boards he was paid to replace. Remember you choose the company to repair your home NOT your insurance company. Learn from my mistake.

i had a poor experience with this company. i had water damage due
to a leak in my bathroom earlier this year.The work was not completed
in a timely fashion, nor to my satisfaction. i was out of my house for
50 something days and there were days when no one showed up to
work because they were chasing new projects after the hurricane. in fact,
the only time they were interested in completing the work was when it
was time to be paid.This was truly an awful experience for me.

I cannot express enough gratitude for this company. When disaster struck our business (aka a Truck ran through not only the exterior wall but also Interior at our gym) they were able to clean up the mess and have us running boot camps that VERY SAME DAY!!! The professionalism was top notch and they really took care of us.

My house was destroyed by Irma in 2017. The project is still not complete. They have kept all of my personal property and severely damaged the house before walking off the job. They continue to hold all of my belongings — no winter clothes for me this year, let alone a shower, toilet, kitchen, Hvac or electric — and they have placed a lein on my home as they would like to be paid for the entire project whilst admitting that they walked off the job without completing the project. Besides stealing my brand new HVaC system, they did not replace a wall now deemed ‘failing’ by the county which was required to be replaced by their own structural engineer. They did not even begin work until 60 days after the project was to be complete. When I ran out of ALE because of it, they offered to put a tent in my backyard or put me up at one of their own workers houses which they insisted on letting me see — incidentally the house contained a condom machine in the bathroom. And then guess what? They sued me. So tens of thousands of dollars later we are still in litigation. I still have no bathroom or kitchen. They still have my belongs. And they remain by far the most evil creatures I’ve ever encountered in my 48 years on this earth. Please don’t think you have to use the contractor your insurance company suggests. Certainly in this case it ended in disaster.

I had Paul Davis Tallahassee out to the house twice in last several years. One for tree strike and one for Hurricane Michael. Very professional and prompt. They also assisted with navigating the insurance process. I would recommend Paul Davis to a friend or family member in a heartbeat. They are a family business and you'll feel that right away. Michael Briggs was absolutely wonderful. I’m in the middle of an insurance claim after a fallen tree incident. He was brought in after some other vendors failed to show up. His communication with me was superb. The quick response and resolution was greatly appreciated. I will continue to use his services throughout the remainder of the project.

I wish there was a black star because that is what this company deserves.

Please do yourself and your family a favor DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are horrible. You will have to fight them tooth and nail to get the job done properly. They love to go cheap. My insurance policy was full replacement but this company will try to sneak in cheaper items and when you confront them about it, they get pissed!

Water and moisture from the fire trucks stayed in my house all through the process. Never once did Rick Green put fans in the house to help dry it.

You will receive your property back from this company broken and if they decide, they will keep it for themselves or give it away to another family. I have so much stuff that is not mine.

Also, the owner Jay White will not answer emails about my damage items. The sorry a&# attitude comes from the top I guess.

Please don't do this to yourself. You will strongly regret it.

On October 10, 2018 a tree fell on my home, sheering off the west end and the roof and the electric service. I called my agent GEICO, who put me in contact with my home insurance company, Security First. Security First engaged Paul Davis Restoration as the general contractor to oversee the repair to my home.

Paul Davis Restoration sent Mr. Miles Masters to my home to set up a plan for repairs. Miles took charge. He hired a tree guy to remove the tree. He then hired someone to install temporary weather proofing (the blue tarps). Miles had the debris moved from the property, then on and on, step by step. Which included carpentry, drywall, paint, electric service (coordinating with Talquin Electric), and carpet, electric contractor, rebuilding the roof and outside wall and the new roofing.

Additionally, Miles arranged for the county permitting and inspections. Miles also arranged for a temporary POD to store my books, furniture and television set while repairs were being made.

Mike did everything professionally, promptly and with courtesy to my wife and me. We could not have been more pleased.

This company was amazing. Drew was the best from start to finish. He definitely made me feel like I wasn’t alone going through my disaster. Would definitely recommend them.

It was a nightmare. Scheduled to close over Christmas, 🎄 leaks were found in the bathroom walls. Closing canceled. “Call your insurance company, ma’am!”

Miles Masters, contractor, with Paul Davis restoration, came in (immediately) and saved the day. The company is 100% professional and is Customer first. Miles is a great communicator, highly skilled, and patient. I am an older woman. At all times he was logical, prepared, worked big picture AND completed every tiny punchlist item. I’m still flabbergasted that this rebuild went off so beautifully. The bathroom is fantastic. Thank you Paul Davis restoration. I hope I never have to see you again but if I do hallelujah!

Recently we were ground zero of a tornado. After contacting 911 and our insurance, Paul Davis had rep, Alan Tucker, on scene the same evening to assess our needs and put a plan in place. By the next morning Mr. Tucker had multiple assets on our property working to secure our home. Mr. Tucker helped us arrange for tree removal from the house and tarps on the roof, in addition he sceduled an expert to check for moisture or mildew, all within less than 24 hours. The rep continued to check on us to ensure we progressing in our recovery for at least 3 weeks following the event. We had nothing but the utmost praise for Paul Davis Restoration and specifically, Mr. Alan Tucker.
