I hope this POS Company goes out of business. Poor Customer Service with high jacked up prices! If you get something done by this Company, make sure you get in writing the Warranty on your Landscaping Design done by them. I've been chasing Lucas Landscaping for over a year now to correct an issue with a product installed by them. They are very poor at getting back to you.

First, I would like to start off by saying your team did an incredible job from the design phase to the installation phase. However, in the beginning when I sat down with Al and he explained the Zoysia grass to myself and my significant other. We were left with the impression that this grass would keep out fungus, would require less lawn cuts and less overall maintenance. In fact, Al informed us that since the grass is young give it some time and you will see it "squeeze" the weeds out. It is coming up to be a year at the end of this month since the landscaping and irrigation was installed. This was a fresh new canvas for your team to work with and we have some concerns that were supposed to be handled during installation.
• We were told the dirt would be filled and leveled. The front yard has a major dip in the center and this is where the grass is less green compared to the entire lawn.
• The left side of the house is being slowly taken over by torpedo weeds. I have had lawn care and maintenance done since we were able to after the installation. Should the dirt have been treated or some type of barrier installed between my neighbor?
• We have areas where the grass will not grow?
We brought these concerns up to Al after we noticed them. Al stopped by and took a look at the grass and said give it some time. He said he would come back by at some point in the near future and check on the lawn. I highly doubt that ever happened because we never heard anything after his last visit. I would definitely like for the owner to come out and address some of these concerns with us. We paid a lot of money to have professional landscaping installed along with an irrigation system. I sent this via e-mail on July 10th and I waited a few days to receive a response. I drove up to the office to speak with someone and the young lady behind the desk was very helpful and said I will have Craig the owner call you. I gave that a few days and never heard anything back. I called the owner directly and he said he would be out to look at the lawn and get back with me. That was on July 24th and I have never heard back from the owner. I called yesterday directly to the owner and left a message and still have not heard back from him. If you are expecting to get any service after the sale I would highly recommend not using this company, they simply do not care about the end product nor the the customer. -
Could not ask for better service. Great experience. We needed our pool deck redone with new pavers. Craig and his crew did an awesome job and for a very reasonable price. Courteous and caring service. They also have a nice show room.

I could not be more pleased with Al and the team at Lucas Landscape and Design. I wanted a functional backyard space that allowed me to enjoy the views of the Anclote River, which is the location where I built my house six years ago. I wanted to eliminate all my grass and create multiple terraces that allowed me to have several seating areas. Al drew up a plan that was so amazing that we continued the project on the sides and front of the house to ensure that we seamlessly tied in all the design elements. While permitting took almost four months (Tarpon is known for that), the extensive project only took three weeks. Al’s crew even picked up the patio furniture I purchased because it wouldn’t fit in my car. If you are looking for exceptional design and quality, I would highly recommend this company.

We had Lucas Landscape and Design build a pergola. Craig was very helpful with the layout of our pavers and made sure we had the proper dimensions to fit with our pool. The end product is great. When Crag said the day and time his crew would arrive it always happened on time. His crew was meticulous with the details and the cleanup.
Highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. -
THE TRUTH IS: A ROCKY EXPERIENCE WITH LUCAS LANDSCAPING. Here's the "short" list: 1— Our DRIVEWAY was CRACKED in multiple places from their Bobcat going over corner edges of the driveway instead of the strong straight parts (I was told by other contractors this is heavy equipment 101 stuff). They denied they did it. Our driveway is still cracked. 2— The patio/pathway pavers they installed, they cracked dozens of them during leveling (and did replace them), but only after the hassle of asking them to fix such a huge blunder that didn't just get addressed automatically right away. 3— WORST OF ALL: LARGE PILES OF EXCESS CRUSHED CONCRETE used for the paver areas... instead of being hauled away, was repurposed for grading and spread into the yard beneath the new layers of topsoil and sod. They swore it would be fine. Later I was told this is HIGHLY ILLEGAL buy a guy at SLM landscaping supply. That was after I'd noticed that water was not penetrating the earth through the crushed concrete, creating swampy mud pit areas never there before and killing all the new sod they'd installed. They came back and dug much of it out. A lot of work...but so much remained and I was so tired getting them to fix things they messed up or to do things half way, that I went out and spent many hours myself pulling off the top layers of sod and topsoil, digging out the remaining unremoved concrete, replacing it all with topsoil and leveling out areas by hand that they'd graded but where it was not draining properly. IT'S GREAT NOW BUT DUE TO A TON OF WORK ON MY PART!!! 4— Job was to take 3 weeks but took months... and with many headaches. 5— They removed many trees and plants, and just left holes that they covered with pine straw, seemingly to hide that the ground that wasn't leveled out. I ended up pulling off the pine straw and raking in those many holes and high/low spots myself because there were just too many things to try to get them to complete in at least a close to correct fashion. 6— Finally, a couple of years later, one of their high-end installed lights failed that have a lifetime warranty. What's awesome is that all these lights are covered for a lifetime, great! However, I can only get the warranty claim if Lucas Landscaping sends them a copy of the order and a quick phone call to release the warranty to me. After countless phone calls, texts, emails, and numerous apologies and promises from Craig Lucas, there has been no follow through to have this done. I just need Lucas Landscaping to do as they promised repeatedly, by sending the order info to Volt Lighting, along with a quick phone call to release the warranty. I really thought I'd wiped my hands clean of dealing with them 2 years ago, but nope, looks like every time I get a light that goes out and pay for a new one... I'll be reminded how I'M STILL PAYING FOR DEALING WITH LUCAS LANDSCAPING.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Amazing plants!
-
Overall - a very disappointing experience with the landscape services. You should probably look elsewhere.
The positive:
1) Visiting the nursery, the staff is knowledgeable about Florida plants
2) The plants at the nursery are varied and all healthy
The negatives:
1) Communication - communication - communication - simply awful up and down the staff. Had to call on many occasions only to wait for a callback. The installation staff seemed skilled and did a good job but did not communicate to let us know when they were leaving for the day or to review and okay what was done.
2) Timeliness - Did not show up on the promised day. Had to call to find out why (see #1). Did not complete on the 2nd day they showed up. In all it look a week to get the job completed which was promised in one day.
3) Reconciliation of the estimate with what was installed
4) Accuracy of the invoice with regard to the feet of edging involved (was quoted in feet). -
This place has an amazing assortment of plants and they’re all very healthy. I was looking for a specific type of palm that could withstand full sun for my patio and the ladies working were super helpful and very nice! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to fellow plant lovers :)

I can't say enough about Sabrina and Angela at Landmark Nursery! They are incredible. They not only designed my front and backyard landscape exactly how I envisioned, but they also surpassed my expectations. They took my ideas and ran with them, suggesting plants that are perfect for my area and will thrive over time. They truly thought about what would not only look great now, but also how the landscape would evolve and transform in the years to come.
My backyard is now a complete oasis, with bromeliads growing up the trees and a beautiful butterfly garden that my sons absolutely love. It's such a peaceful and vibrant space. I get compliments every week from neighbors and visitors, so much so that I joked I should put up a sign that says, “Designed by Sabrina and Angela at Landmark Nursery!”
Their client focus is top-notch – I truly felt like they were invested in bringing my vision to life and creating something that will last for years. A solid 10/10 experience! Highly recommend them! -

Hands down the best plants and the best people to help you with your projects! Time and time again I'm amazed at the enormous selection that includes a lot of unusual plants that are healthy and robust. LOTS of staff available to assist people - not a Home Depot experience by FAR. You could spend hours just looking at the selection so give yourself some time to really check everything out. Make sure you take a cart with you because you will be purchasing!
-
Both women that helped me did a fantastic job-knowledgeable, polite and patient. We bought a beautiful Japanese Blueberry tree that was well manicured and fertilized. We will be back!

Landmark Nursery, Inc has the friendliest staff. As soon as you exit your vehicle you are greeted by multiple employees asking you what they can help you with and what you're looking for. They have an amazing selection of plants and a wide variety of indoor and outdoor pots in multiple colors. They are fantastic and I will continue to go here and recommend them to all my friends and family. 🙂

Such a wide variety of plants and supplies! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even walking out in the rain to show me where plants I was interested in were located!

I have to start my review by thanking Landmark Nursery for starting to revise and correct my landscaping. I had spoken to a couple of nurseries and Landmark was very busy so in a rushed decision I decided to use a different landscaping company. What a mistake, wrong trees, planted poorly did not stand behind their product.
I approached Landmark and explained the problem. Damien came to my house looked at my landscaping and discussed a very reasonable way to correct the problems and a plan to go forward. The work that was performed by the prior landscaper was not even close to the quality of Landmarks work. Landmarks employees were professional, prepared and obviously well trained. They had the proper equipment to handle the plants carefully. They even corrected some errors in grading and tree placement. The only problem is that their work looks so good in comparison to the prior work that is around my pool from the prior company that I will have to have them come back to correct more of the prior work to make it match Landmarks beautiful work.
If Landmark is busy and you have to wait it is well worth the wait.
I can enthusiastically recommend Landmark Nursery to anyone thinking about enhancing their property.
