Julio and his team are incredible. Julio takes time to discuss our goals and makes very good recommendations. He's worked for us twice and will be back this fall to continue working on his plan for our trees. Having a hundred plus trees I'm so glad to finally have an Arborist that I trust.

Just as Atlanta went into shelter-in-place mode, my four-foot-tall retaining wall toppled over onto my neighbor's driveway. Julio from Home Improvement and Land Professionals had a look at the wall, took some measurements, and a day later sent me photos of similar projects he'd completed using different types of bricks and blocks. Detailed cost lists accompanied the proposals, so I was able to make a quick, informed decision and get the work underway a few days later. Julio even brought in a stump grinder to remove the remains of an oak tree whose roots were partially to blame for the old wall's failure. The retaining wall crew was friendly and professional and did their best to clean up the site as much as possible before leaving at night. I watched them reinforce the block wall with rebar and fill the openings with concrete for additional heft. Five days later, I have an impossibly sturdy wall and my property is cleaner than it was when the crew arrived! Throughout the process, I was provided text, email and phone updates by Julio and Rosmy, his project coordinator. They also came by the house twice to inspect the progress and answer any questions I might have. And the crew appeared to be following the social distancing protocols throughout the installation. Frankly, I couldn't be more impressed with the service. I've dealt with contractors in the past who tried to take advantage of a situation by upselling or adding unnecessary steps to a project to pad the bill. Julio stuck by his quote, even when one end of the wall required a bit more work than expected. I'm so pleased with the result, I plan to use this company for landscape work in the future. Very impressive!

I hired Tree Master Services (Julio Jaramillo) for retaining wall in my backyard. He took the money and left without completing the work.

He said will complete his project in three weeks. Now it's almost 4 months but still did not complete the project.

My neighbors are nice people, he damaged their property, they are suffering just because of him.

I also got a letter from my HOA to complete backyard project immediately

Had drainage pipe, grading and sod done.
Julio Jarammillo explained everything up front with a fair price and started work the next day.
Crew worked hard under extreme heat to get the job done. Looking forward to having a fully green yard in a few weeks that the grandkids can play in!

Update:
After waiting three months for dead grass to grow I started to contact them to replace dead areas under warranty. Long story short they made no attempt to back up their warranty. Now I’m back to throwing grass seed. Don’t trust warranty they offer.

I have had numerous text messages over the past year for follow up.
Actually came out two times to review themselves and both times they said they would replace the grass. No follow-up. No grass.

If I could offer a negative rating I would - BEWARE! Julio and others he hires to con customers out of money, drags jobs on and also lies about the plans verses what he will offer, Tree Masters (Julio J) has workers for cheap shortcuts knowing it isn’t in the best interest of the job.. he does not complete the worn and can cause you more stress than anyone needs at your home. Julio cut a tree and it landed on our neighbors home as they did not approach the job properly or as promised then he harassed us to pay for other trees that fell due to his negligence. He disrespected my husband when we didn’t wait longer for a tree pick up that he promised for over a week to come so he could get paid more for the job. To follow, he was suppose to complete 2 retainer walls, fencing, cut a smaller tree, built a fire pit, lay pavers and install stairs along the side of our home, NEITHER did he complete fully or properly and he lied over snd over again about coming to work. Tree Masters/Julio promised to show, never does and then lies when confronted and says it’s due to weather even when it’s sunny... Julio always requested more money for materials which he took, never ordered and ended up stealing our money and not doing the job. When we attempted to reverse the PayPal for the money taken and work not done he became upset and begged to do the work he had already abandoned. A woman he uses for his PayPal deposits showed to our home and said he conned her out of money and owed her money as well, they she no longer works with him and he blocked her .. we advised her she was complicit in the taking of ill gotten funds for jobs he never planned to do and did not complete and we wanted our money back as we realize they were a team. To follow Julio reached out again with more excuses. DO NOT allow these people to touch your home if you plan to have your property complete or restored as it is one lie/con after another. We are out of material we paid for and much work that we now have to hire someone else to complete. If Tree Masters attempts to dispute this post I am happy to submit pages of written proof, emails and pictures for anyone who would like to see and protect themselves. We are still demanding our money back and will follow through on all legal aspects, reporting to stare boards and more until we are refunded. Hope this post saves someone else.

This guy LIES with such ease - it is actually amazing, He'll tell you he's on the way and will be there in an hour - and of course never shows up. He'll tell you anything you want to hear. Not just once or twice but at least over 16 times now. IF you want someone completely undependable - Julio is your guy!!!! If you don't want stress in you life - NEVER call this guy. it's now almost mid-August 2024 ... WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I hired Julio and his crew to remove a couple trees and build a retaining wall. Things were ok until I paid him before everything was done. He left work unfinished, abandoned an overloaded dumpster in my yard (costing me an additional $600 to remove) and never replaced damaged personal equipment his crew used. Worst contractor experience I've ever had.

My husband contacted Julio Jaramillo to remove multiple trees from my yard . The first day went very well. The next day Julio and his crew arrived to continue the job, they worked for a few hours then Julio approached my husband and asked him if he would pay him for the entire contract that day because he needed to pay his crew. Once the bill was paid in full, Julio said that they had to go finish up another job and they would be back in two hours. To this day they have never returned. They never finished removing the trees, they left some trees that they cut down still laying in the back yard, and I had to personally remove truck loads of branches, limbs and debris that they left behind. I called, texted and emailed Julio for weeks to see when he was going to return. He returned one call to say that he would return that following Monday; they never arrived. He either blocked my number or just stopped returning my calls. I learned the hard way that you don’t pay until the job is complete.

Absolute Warning: Stay Away! This landscaper took $5,000 from my parents, installed dead grass, and vanished. He ignores all calls and refuses to fix the damage. After investigating, we found multiple mug shots and arrests for various offenses. This is not someone you want anywhere near your property or money. Run from him. Run! We are talking to lawyers and talkng to authorities.

Very reasonable prices and quality work done. I had two large trees removed and high shrubbery trimmed neatly. They are fast and thorough, and they take the extra time to clean up/blow off everything. I highly recommend their services. Fully insured, very experienced, and pleasant to deal with. Also very clear in their estimate--no surprise additions.

Updating my review. I called Tree Master Services last month to have some pine trees removed, because the drought this summer had brought on a dreaded pine beetle infestation. While the equipment needed was on my property, Julio, seeing an opportunity that I had been blind to, offered to take care of removing several smaller trees--as well as removing all the English ivy that had completely taken control of my back yard. (I had trimmed the ivy off the trees but could not deal with removing all the ivy on the ground.) For a very reasonable additional fee, Tree Master Services' crew, headed up by Raoul, a master of the Caterpillar, completely transformed my back yard, realizing a dream I didn't think I'd ever see come to pass. Also, though I didn't catch the name of the guy who climbed the large pines, he expertly--and safely--dropped them into the very limited space available in my side yard. Thanks again, guys!

50 foot retaining wall, demo old and construct new. Great experience, very reasonable cost wise, on time, extremely efficient in getting the work done and no mess at all left behind. Julio is fair and honest, delivers as promised and will work hard to do the job to your satisfaction. Ignore negative reviews on Yelp. I have worked with numerous contractors on home improvement projects and I rank Julio and his group as one of the best.

Scam artist, would rate negative stars of I could. He is a good sales man, he takes a lot of money up front, starts the work, then told us he has a good deal on sod and a retaining wall, we gave him more money for this. Then starts the excuses that never end, work never gets done, and we are left with a HUGE mess. Find out the work he did was done completely wrong. He dumped a ton of trash in our yard, kept saying he would pick it up, but never does. Everyone in neighborhood stopped working with him. Reported to county about the trash and multiple families are suing.
If the guys name is Julio stay away. He lies all the time. It is exhausting to try to deal with him.

Did some good work on driveway, but totally destroyed what little of a backyard i had and never came back to clean up the "mess" left. The drainage channels he set up were totally off course and now even more of yard has washed away. He is slick and a con artist. DO NOT FALL it!!! Im still paying the cost of damage done.

Julio and his team did a great job installing retaining wallls/French drain and helping with my fence. He did it for a good price. Totally recommend 💯

I hired them for a retainer wall and it turned out beautiful. They exceeded my expectations and the entire crew was friendly and professional. Not to mention my yard was nice and clean when they finished.

Julio and his team got me on his schedule in less than a week. He was a great communicator and kept me informed every step of the way with pictures and updates. They worked quickly, 3 trees down and gone in one day! I would recommend them to anyone.

Julio is a scam, please do not fall in his trap, he will destroy your yard and take your money, a lawsuits is already filed and fraud case is being pursued… I wish I research about him before…

DO NOT HIRE. He took down the trees down but destroyed our yard in the process. He has a F rating from the Better Business Bureau. We filed a claim with the insurance he presented but they say it was cancelled for non-payment. He made promises in writing to fix things but never showed up again to fix it. DO NOT HIRE.

Julio and his team did a great job on leveling my backyard, putting in a retaining wall, and laying new sod. He was very thorough, explained all of my options, was always available for questions when I texted him, and even met with my neighbor to explain to him what we were doing and ask if he could access my yard through the neighbors yard.

I was out of town for a week in the middle of the project on vacation, and Julio would text me and send me pictures.

We ran into an unexpected sprinkler system that I didn't even know I had. Julio worked with me on a good price to re-run and connect it to the main sprinkler system so I would be able to water it on a timer with the rest of the house. I wasn't expecting to have a sprinkler system down there, but glad it all worked out the way it did.

The project has been complete for about 3 weeks, and Julio just texted me that he came by, there were a couple patches of sod that didn't appear to be coming in, and if they didn't come up in a couple weeks, he was going to bring some new sod by and patch it. I didn't even ask him, he just did that himself because he really tries hard at having great customer service.

I will be hiring these guys again when I am ready to replace my fence, and would recommend talking to them about any outdoor project, as they seem to do a lot of different things.

The attention to detail and precision demonstrated by their tree service contractors was impressive.
