From the moment they started working, I could tell something was not right. They hurried through the job and it was as if they were trying to finish the work as quickly as possible.

Within days of their supposed fix, the same issue resurfaced, worse than before. When I tried to contact them, they conveniently avoided my calls and refused to take responsibility, and when I finally got a hold of them they quoted me an even higher price for them to come back and "properly repair". No apologies or attempts to make things right!

Allison plumbing was brought in before we finalized the purchase of our home to repair a leaky toilet and jacuzzi tub. Since they were so amazing on that small project, we hired Oscar and his team to complete a major master bathroom renovation including swapping the master bathroom and the master closet. This involved capping off the old plumbing and running new plumbing to a different location and two new vanity sinks, a bidet toilet, undermount tub and shower with three pressure valves and a thermostatic valve (rain head, regular shower and hand shower). Additionally he and his team were always clean and made sure all debris, demo and boxes were removed when completed! He was responsive, on-time and very accommodating of changes and delays with our project, plus his prices are extremely reasonable He is so good our realtor refers him to all of her clients! Five stars all the way!

I can't express my disappointment enough with Allison Plumbing I hired for a recent emergency. At first, their lower prices seemed like a great deal, but it turned out to be a disastrous decision. Their so-called "repair" job was a disaster waiting to happen. Not only did they fail to fix the initial issue, but their shoddy workmanship actually caused a massive leak, leading to extensive damage and costly repairs in my home. Their guy was also not licensed and did not speak a lot of english.

We had 8 pipes burst on us Christmas Eve during the bomb cyclone and 6 degree weather. We were able to shut off the water but could not get ANY plumber out here, called about 20 different companies and everyone we spoke to was booked 6 days out, closed or just hung up on me. I found these guys on Yelp and they were here within 2 hours. They fixed ALL of our busted pipes and gave us a fantastic price. We paid a 3rd of what a big name company would of charged. They were super and professional. I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family. Very happy with their service. Very knowledgeable.

Allisson Plumbing always arrives on time, does top notch professional work at a very reasonable rate. I’ve used them on several home plumbing jobs and they’ve always been nothing but stellar. I highly recommend them and will continue using them for all of my plumbing needs.

2025 Update
It's been almost 5 years since I've continued to do business with Oscar and I enjoyed every time he came to my rescue. From new home makeover/renovation to emergency leaks in the laundry room or main line pipes he always seems to accommodate my time sensitivity with excellent service with affordable price.

Our interaction was a combo of text and calls. He'd always give me an estimate before committing, no hidden fees just pure honest day's work. I'm proud of everything's he's accomplished and now his business has evolved from early days of him being in the field to now managing and even has his own logo and branding. We need more honest hard -working people like him and his family. 🏅🏅🏅

2021 UPDATE:
Almost a year since I've known Oscar and his family/friends of plumbers, I can definitely say they're my favorite go-to people. I've gone through plumbing emergencies to redoing bathroom/kitchen replacements and they've always beat competitors in terms of price and making me feel like family.

Even when it comes to up-to-code things like adding a studor vent to kitchen plumbing, Allisson Plumbing is THE best business that I will continue to work with!! 🏅🏆👍

2020 TL;DR --------->
If you’re looking for a plumber with affordable rates, no service fee, gets the job done without satisfying your perfectionist aesthetics, call them.

RESEARCH NOTES
* There’s no standardization the plumbing world. If you order a faucet from Amazon or IKEA, you’re working with European parts that are a little more difficult to find at your local Home Depot.
* Most big plumbing companies charge an annoying “service fee” which they can often waive if you decide to go with their service. A simple faucet installation can range from $140 to $170.
* If you really want to go the cheap route without DIY, your better bet is to call a local handyman through TaskRabbit or Porch with hourly rates starting at $40. You’d also have to buy all the parts ahead of time (faucet, water supply valves, canned styrofoam, etc.)

INTERACTION
1. I just needed a simple faucet installation that I tried to do myself, but took 3 trips to the store while going “hulk smash” on my old faucet and would rather invest my time somewhere else.
2. A year later, I found my jerry-rigged faucet installation was leaking despite applying silicone to it.
3. Found Allisson’s plumbing through Yelp and it had no ratings. So I figured I could haggle.
4. Texted Oscar pictures of my bathroom cabinet and talked about the game plan: I would buy the faucet and figure out a way to cover up the giant gap in the drywall that a previous plumber did.
5. Oscar texted me ahead of time of arrival time, got the job done without fuss. He and his associate also helped me carve up the marker board I was trying to cut (like an amateur … plus they had another job to do afterwards) despite saying he doesn’t work with drywall (which it wasn’t, technically it was like plywood).
6. I bought other materials to give the bathroom vanity/cabinet some polish like dry anchor screws and “Great Stuff” (canned styrofoam) to keep bugs from crawling up from hell and into my bathroom. When I provided Oscar with the foam, it was kind of a sloppy job which he could have used a paper napkin to smooth. But, I guess the day after I’ll just shave/cut it down to make it flush with the wall.

Overall, I’d totally recommend Oscar for small plumbing work like installing faucets. Just be sure you do research ahead of time of what’s needed in a project and be prepare to do the fit and finish yourself. Also, support local businesses!!

Elvis and Marco replaced all waterlines inside the house, brought our water heater up to code standard and installed new shower heads in 2 days! No mess. They covered furniture and cleaned up afterwards. They were very polite. The price was good too. I highly recommend them and I'm glad we found them.
