I am actually surprised I was able to find great plants for a lower price than Homedepot.
Buying in bulk for a discount price is also available. I like the idea of getting alot of plants all at once for a few dollars less. It makes a big difference.

Busy store. Store is clean with good prices and selection. Use the Walmart app to help locate items you are looking for and the app will give you the location of the items in the store. Walmart+ member is a great option to be a member.

Much improvement in the past year at Walmart garden center. They replaced the shade covers and cleaned up a bit. However this past month or so, the plants in the sun area looked crispy and in need of water greatly. When I mentioned it, I was told the sprinkler system broke and no one seems to care. The sun area is a small area, it could easily be sprayed with a water hose by an employee and maybe fix your sprinkler system? Again, Management take a look at Stuart's Walmart Garden Center.

It's a Walmart garden center. Small compared to other locations, selection is only okay, not great. Has most of what you need to maintain a home lawn or garden. Easy to get in and out of.

2026 Update: We had some drainage flow issues. Bob had the team return to add an additional line to alleviate the flow issue just in time for the February storm deluge. All Good agin. Thx Team Cascadian!!!
We hired Cascadian to design and execute our hardscape and landscape on a new build in EDH in 2023/24. It was a big project which included weather delays and working around and with our pool contractor. We love the design we came up with and the use of existing rock and dirt. As with any big project some hiccups arise but the crew stayed with it and completed our project as expected. We are enjoying our new digs.
The crew are longtime employees and truly care about the projects they work on. It shows. Thx Team Cascadian!!

Bob Delong and his team did an amazing job on our backyard installation from design to completion. I’ll definitely use Cascadian for the next phase!

We hired this company on Nov'20 to do our backward work in Folsom Ranch. Initial 40% of the job completed as promised, then the pain start where I have to go around them, had to make several calls/texts requesting them to please come back and finish up the things. They only showed up when they have spare time. Upon asking why you are delaying the project? The Owner texted me that "I do not think you have anything to complain about since you have got the project at cost" this we very unprofessional.

Finally, when they finish 99.5 % of the job in 7 months, I've paid the final payment due after 100% of the work is complete with a written assurance that they will come and finish the remaining work. After a month owner texted me - "How you can be on the top priority when you expect everything for FREE? I will TRY to send my guy next week" - I think this is very insulting and frustrating.

I'm giving them 2 stars as their work quality is very good.

The project got delayed quite a bit. But after all, I see a sincerity to get the project done in a quality way and to make up all that was missing. They do have many skillful good workers for the concrete work and were willing to help me plant some of my own plants that were not in the original plan.

We hired Bob and his team to re-do our small back yard in the Serrano neighborhood. This included scraping old landscape, new drainage, new irrigation, stone patio, fountain, all new plants, trees, shrubs. He and his team are very professional, organized, timely, cleans up daily after their work, and met all deadlines. Bob and his team are very easy to work with and will follow-up on any issues and immediately correct any of your concerns. Cascadian did our landscaping and we couldn't be happier. We live in Serrano and they are familiar with working with the HOA knowledgeable of purple reclaimed water piping, drainage, a approved contractor for EID and knows all about our prohibited plant list. It was a breeze!!

Bob the Owner is local to El Dorado Hills very customer focused and he went out his way to make sure the job was completed our satisfaction.

It was a super seamless process he required no direction at all, has an excellent eye for detail and design. He is definitely a veteran in the field. His crew is awesome!

We hired Bob for our new construction home in Serrano where we needed both front and back landscaping which included a pool. This was a long build process running many months which ran into the Covid lockdown. There were many delays which weren’t always due to Covid but the work got done and we’re very happy with the quality of work, the design, and we love our backyard.
We also had many challenges dealing with the HOA and Bob was great in helping us maneuver through their ridiculous requests and made all the necessary changes without flinching.
It’s now been over a year and we discovered a small concrete issue where the pool coping broke off. We contacted Bob and Bob had his team come make the repair without any issues.

After waisting a bunch of money on a landscape architect, we reached out to Bob at Cascadian Landscape. Of the multiple landscapers we spoke too, Bob was the only one that came in with ideas that would make our yard look great and save money. We live on a hill so it was not easy but he delivered something that our family will enjoy for years. His team was professional and on time, Bob was always responsive and easy to get in touch with. We've had a nightmare getting work done but Bob's team was the saving grace for our very large backyard project. I would recommend him first above all others in this area.

If you are in the market for a landscaper, I highly suggest hiring Cascadian Landscape Inc. We hired them to complete our entire backyard in September of 2022. Everyone that has come by and see it says it is a complete oasis. It truly is so beautiful that you can't wait to go back there and relax. Bob, Alex and the crew were always there to keep you informed and to make incredible suggestions. If you needed to make changes, Bob was always so flexible and continues to be. Because we loved what Cascadian completed in our back yard - in 2023, we hired them to redo the whole front yard. Special mention goes to Alex, the on-site construction manager, who took our sketches and inspiration photos and brought them to life exactly as we envisioned -- sometimes even BETTER! Friends are amazed when they see the "before" photos compared to the finished space.

As with any large project, there were a few changes along the way--materials, color, size, shape--it happens. Bob/Cascadian handled them professionally, documenting any costs of those changes in Change Orders. So plan to reserve a bit "extra" for the inevitable change orders that you'll want to implement! The process was smooth, transparent, and delivered results beyond our expectations.
