I am writing this review before my service by US Tree Services is complete. Mike and his crew are flipping AMAZING! They have exceeded my expectations 10 fold! They removed 3 trees and ground the stumps extremely fast and extremely safe. I also had a limb removed and you cant even tell where the limb was at, because they "blended" it to look like the rest of the tree. They have a crew that is meticulous with clean-up and disposal and have cared for my surroundings. I highly recommend US Tree Services, specifically Mike and his crew! I will never use anyone else in the future because this company is THAT GOOD!

I have been using US tree since 2014 starting with our first house and now to our new house. They are professional, on schedule and within reasonable price.

Our 1974 house is surrounded with a lot of trees that are growing next to the house. They carefully cut down trees that are next to our roof and air conditioning.

Last tornado watch that we had, with the strong winds one of our trees fell next to our shed. I told them that I couldn’t be there in person in our old house. They gave me a quote and finished the job the next day. I like that Dijana keeps me posted about it.

I used them to cut three very old trees in front of my house and trim 16 trees in the backyard. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. They came early morning and finished everything in few hours. Mike is a superb guy and he makes sure that his customers are happy. They also did excellent job in cleaning up. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

I called for a quote, they came out then next day, gave me a quote in seconds, provided proof of insurance, told me It would take maybe be 2-3 hours and answered any questions about the process I had quickly and thoroughly. The day of, they were early (which was fine with me) took down a 60ft pine and another 25ft tree on our property, cleaned up and were gone in 30 minutes flat. It was way more than I could have hoped for. Great price, excellent quality of work and professionalism. I would and will recommend these guys in a heartbeat!

Very happy with this company. We had a couple quotes and they gave us the best rate. They did the work very quickly, I believe about a week after I initially contacted them. They removed two trees, trimmed a large tree and did one stump grinding and root removal for us. Work was well done. I will continue to use them.

Needed one tree removed, another trimmed up over the house, and a bunch of bushes that grew wild cleaned up. Called a couple of places for a quote, US Tree Services was the most responsive, up front, and had a good price. The day they came, they were on time, and everything was done within 90 minutes. The staff was friendly, nothing got damaged, and they cleaned up nicely. I'm very happy with the way the trimmed tree and bushes look. If you need some work done, definitely give them a call

Top notch service. Very happy with the price and the communication of when they will be there from the free estimate to the actual work scheduled. Tree was trimmed up nicely and everything was cleaned up when they were done . Mike was very nice and his crew was good.

I had a 50+ year old tree removed today. US Tree Service took the tree down in no time. They were very professional and cleaned everything up when they were done. I called several places for quotes and they came out the quickest and had the best prices. I will definitely use them again.

We had a fruitless pair tree that had split right down the middle after a horrible wind storm. Although it was still standing, it was 25 feet tall and would have caused significant damage if it fell. After some ridiculous quotes I spoke with Mike, the owner of US Tree Service, who gave us an offer that we could not turn down. His team was out in two days 08/28/2025) and took down the whole tree in under an hour. Wow.

Unfortunately, it was discovered that one of the felled branches hit a custom-made metal lamp that was in our yard that was mounted on an old cement street lamp pole. There was very rare glass inside the lamp that was smashed and the iron lamp was in pieces. Mike came out and did his best to fix it, even bringing it back to his shop but it needed to be professionally repaired. I brought the lamp down to a professional in Kankakee who works with stained glass and iron welds. It took some time to finally get it repaired, as it was a custom piece.

Now here is where things take a turn in the right direction. Mike, owner, never cashed the check we wrote him for the initial work, cutting down the tree. I explained that I was going to bring it to a professional. The lamp was eventually repaired but the repair was more than the actual removal of the tree. I explained the circumstances to Mike and gave him the invoice of the repair. Mike was out the next day with a check that supplemented the repair bill. THIS is how companies with integrity conduct business! We all know it was an accident but the lamp was still broken. Without missing a beat, Mike made it right.

Thank you, Mike and the US Tree Service, for your prompt response and integrity, you guys are second to none and I highly recommend this company and we would use them again in a second. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore.

Team came over within a few days of the quote. Did a great job with somewhat difficult removal, three mulberries close to a fence line and house. Cleaned up very well, even our landscape stones back in place.

Our experience with J&S Tree Service was great. After submitting a request online, Stephanie promptly responded via email and she and Jorge were out to look at our property within a day. Our initial request was to have an oak and maple tree trimmed/remove dead branches in our yard, but they also suggested completely removing a dead crabapple tree in the yard as well. They gave us an incredibly reasonable quote within an hour - we received quotes from 2 other companies. Three days later, Jorge and his crew were out to complete the project. Everything looks great and I would highly recommend this company for similar jobs. Great value for the work that was provided!

J & S is a great service. Stephanie is very quick to respond to inquiries, provide estimates and get you scheduled right away. The team has always been beyond friendly and truly cares about doing a great job. They definitely go above and beyond. I highly recommend this company and wouldn’t even look for anyone else.

J&S Tree Service really came through for me. I needed emergecy tree removal from my property. They were extremely prompt in returning my phone calls and then came out immediately to provide a quote. Less than 24 hours later, they removed the tree and cleaned up the debris. The technicians were professional, thorough, and considerate of my property. I will most definitely use J&S Tree Service again to maintain my beloved trees. I strongly recommend this locally owned business to others looking for a company that offers expert service with stellar communication practices. I am very impressed!

10/10. I got a quote quickly from Stephanie. We got a few other quotes as well but ultimately felt most confident in J+S, and it turned out to be the most affordable option as well. We moved into a house with the weeds the size of tree's, with power lines going through them, and this was all professionally removed with no damage to property or power lines.

I want to let folks know about a GREAT tree service. J & S Tree Service. I called to get an estimate on removing trees from my yard. The same day I called an estimator was sent out to my home. Little did I know
, George, who promptly came out was the owner of the company. He looked at the overgrowth in my yard, gave me suggestions on what needed to be removed and worked with me to give me the confidence in his company to to the job. He is honest and caring. J & S Tree Service sent a team of seven experts out and in 5 hours removed 4 hugh trees, cleared the storm damage removing all the branches, even went as far as raking the yard. When they left my yard was beautiful. I highly recommend this company.

Amazing service, helped us in a pinch - came to our house same day. Professional, great service and did an excellent job pruning a large tree and removing a tree that was almost completely uprooted.

George and his entire crew were beyond exemplary. This man and crew did such an awesome job flawlessly. They were extremely professional. They left no mess behind. The job they were facing with this tree removal was dangerous and problematic. Nothing was damaged and infact when they were finished the situation was better than expected. George and his crew from J&S took more than the falling tree. They removed ever bit of our worries as well. Nobody wants a falling tree to smash into their house. So it takes a skilled crew and company with all the right vehicles and tools to do the hardest of jobs. J&S, George and Crew most definitely are the people to handle even the most difficult of tree removals. J&S is the company you call. Forget about the rest. J&S did a fantastic job with our tree removal. They planned the job very well, responded to my inquiries right away. They also got the job done in record time. Cleanup around the yard was very thorough. I am pleased with the work done and would recommend them to others. The only suggestion I have is to ensure they know the proper route to move branches around the yard. The grass was wet during our job and some workers traveled through the neighbors yard which was not ideal. I should have communicated this on the front end.
