Al is just a good, honest guy who is passionate about what he does. I had about a 10 year-old water heater on which an expansion tank had already failed me years earlier, and now the tank itself was down for the count. Al was familiar with the company that installed it and their subpar appliances and shoddy workmanship. I was pleased to hear that they have since shut down. But that made for a more complicated removal, including a couple unplanned runs to the store for additional tools/supplies. Al was totally undeterred, though, and wouldn't compromise, and committed himself to making sure my hot water was good to go before he left me that night.
I feel like I saw a few reviews that seemed to be from a few more "stick in the mud" type personalities that were a little more critical than his usual 5 star ratings... and I think I'd say he's a kind of fun loving guy with a kind of BIG personality, and I think it throws people off a little sometimes, haha! What i found is that this is because he really wants to diagnose the root issue and never just do some quick fix, so he just actually really cares, asks a lot of questions, and gets to the bottom of stuff. Any crook can talk pretty to ya and lull you into a sense of security, but real professionalism is getting it done ONCE, and getting it done RIGHT, and that's all this man does. Whatever it is, you won't regret having Al into your home or business to handle it!
Oh, and yes, Al, looks like the old tank got picked up just as planned, didn't see it when I got back home the next day. And I think I was enjoying a nice hot shower at that time when I missed your call that night, so THANKS AGAIN!

Last year our water heater blew!! I was lucky enough to call Davinroy plumbing amongst the other plumber numbers that came up. He was helpful over the phone and was able to do the job that day. Very fortunate. This time we had a piece of pipe missing and loud knocking pipes. He fixed everything the way it shud have been to begin with. House built in 1880. non plumbers did the updates. lol. Al is straight forward and honest. He cares about his work and it shows! He will show you and explain what he is doing. His prices are very reasonable. Being able to trust someone working for you is a big deal to me. I will always call Al if we need plumbing help! I recommend Al to any friends that need a plumber that they can Trust!!!!
