Very informative and professional

This company did a great job with an Elgin tree trimming project. Mike sent an estimate that was competitively priced right away, did a great job trimming two large trees and was helpful with handling the whole transaction remote since we were out of the area. Looking forward to using them in the future! Great local contractor with excellent customer service that provides insurance verification, pictures of jobs and more up front.

Mike and his crew did a great job cutting down and stumping a few trees on my property as well as clear brush and trim several trees. Price was fair and they got the work done quickly

I live in Bartlett and have done business with Mike for 10 years. He is by far the best when it comes to pruning, cutting or removing trees. His crew is exceptional. They really know how to get the job done and do it quickly leaving no mess whatsoever.

Mike is very knowledgeable about trees. He will give you options on what course to take if your trees are old ( because of course we never want to lose our trees) but his expertise will let you know if your house would be compromised by tree rot, storms etc. In short he is a very reliable and trustworthy and how many people can you say that about these days.

Mike's tree service was a great experience. The crew came out promptly at 7AM to remove a very large tree. It was done by 9:30AM! Very smooth operation and cleanup. Thanks for a job well done at a good price! I would recommend.

Top notch service! I’ve been using Mike for all my tree services for years. I had a few more trees and large branches come down after recent storm and he was out to give estimate immediately. He took down a pear tree, ground out the stump, and 1 stalk of a riverbirch near my house. He did it with precision and professionalism.

I have been a customer of theirs for a very long time and have even recommended this company to many other people. I will never do it again. They completely took advantage of one of my friends. Charged her $500 to remove one small bush when they quoted her $500 to remove several bushes. Then said they would come back and charge her more money to remove e the test of them. She should them a clearly marked picture of what she wanted removed do not use this company total rip off

They squeezed us in when area storms made it impossible to find a local service that could take down our dead tree before the city code deadline. They were in and out and left everything clean as a whistle in less than an hour.

We had this company remove a tree from our property when the owner still ran the company. Now the company is run by his son Alex and let me tell you, this guy is a piece of work.

From my interactions with him, he's a spoiled little kid running daddy's business who doesn't pay attention to detail and doesn't work very hard.

If you get a quote from these guys it will be fairly low and there's a reason for that. They didn't complete the work that they quoted us. They left entire sections of landscaping untouched, even though on the quote he specifically wrote about both sections, "Clear and leave clean".

When we inquired about bushes that he claimed to have trimmed (they weren't touched - there was actually a large spider web between two of the bushes) he got agitated and said it would cost $30 extra for the trim. In the interest of getting things done, we agreed to that.

When he never returned to trim the bushes we sent him a text that said: "The bushes didn't look trimmed [like we talked about]. Either way if you want to stop by we can look at them and give you a check for the work." This is a $30 check mind you.

His response was this: "I trimed the ones in tge back where we cut the three tress in the back thats fine what ever do a fave and dont call me for any more work."

So I called him to try to clear things I up. I apologized for the misunderstanding and asked him if there was something I missed and told him I'd be happy to pay him $30, I just wanted to understand what happened.

He said, "Whatever, I said I did a trim but I don't care. Keep your money, I'm going through a school zone", and he hung up.

These guys were nothing but a hassle and left the work incomplete. You truly get what you pay for.

If you want the job done right the first time, go with a different company, pay a little bit extra and save yourself the headache of dealing with the immature child that "runs" this company.

These guys are not just great at trimming and removing, they give their professional advice on what the trees need. I have used them more than once now and they do a wonderful job. They also clean up after themselves and I will not use anyone besides IR.

Very happy with the service. They trimmed one tree and cut down another. Fair price & cleaned up after themselves. Trimmed tree looks really good. They also put all the cut wood from the tree they took down in my wood pile. Really appreciated and would recommend to others.

This company was hired by Care Property Management (HOA) to do tree trimming. They were suppose to trim anything that interferred with the gutters or low hanging branches. The idiot that was here yesterday, butchered my Apple Crabtree thst blooms with beautiful white flowers in the Spring and is the only tree on my property, he cut healthy branches that were not interfering with nothing. And with all the cutting he did he made a huge gap in the middle of the largest branches the tree has. I was in total SHOCK when I went outside to see what was taking him to long. I am going to report this to the Streamwood Village and BBB.

Lou’s the man! Second time using them for a big job and couldn’t be happier. Extreme attention to detail at a reasonable price. Can’t ask for anything better! 100% would recommend these guys.

This is the 2nd time I having hired Lou from IR Trees. I had 4 trees cut down and the stumps removed on all of them. Additionally, I had a giant mulch bed reduced where there used to be 4 trees but only one was left standing. When I resized the mulch bed Lou moved 3 huge rocks for me to other locations on my property. Once again, IR Trees did an awesome job. They did a professional job and cleaned up afterward.
