In 2020 we had a large tree removed from our front yard and it left a mess! I could not get anyone to return any calls. This year I asked my neighbor who did their yard and he recommended Jaime (Allan’s Landscaping). I texted Jaime and got a response right away and he came out and gave me a quote. We had our entire front yard ripped out, sodded, and new plants put in the front. We are very happy with the end result and are being vigilant in keeping it watered. The first three pictures are the before pictures and the last three are 3 months after the sod has been put in. We had this done the first week of May, as soon as the danger of frost was over.

Jackye and Jim planted flowers, edged, and mulched our entire back yard. They did excellent work at a very reasonable rate!

Happy to support hardworking Americans. Also I can say with fair and reasonable pricing. If you're considering a mowing service, you should give them a try. I'm happy to find them, and they do good work (maybe not perfect). They can adjust the mowing height higher than your typical mowing service. The fertilizer they used in the beginning of the year (1st application) had my grass looking the most blue than I've ever seen. Maybe also because the mower doesn't go too low and the rain we've been getting. Picture just after mowing.

Excellent service, and if u need a professional people to have your landscaping done, I am telling you this is the one.

OliveGrove is probably the worst company I had ever done business with and they are extremely difficult to work with.

The story begins with a design to re-landscape the backyard and install a drainage system. The plan was good and I was put on their “schedule”. After weeks of delays they showed up and I was immediately hit for a $250 charge for extra branches in the back yard, please note this is on a $11k project.. WTH? The drainage system that installed didn’t work, they had many excuses why it wasn’t working including the drainage system couldn’t handle large storms. Finally, I had to show them that my hose garden hose would over-whelm the system in 10 minutes and start to flood the backyard. They finally acknowledged the design and installation flaws and proceeded to dig-up my backyard for the third time to fix the issues.

The other issues with them is they would never show up when scheduled, typical construction company as they over-book and under-deliver. My project took almost 4 months to complete after when I first contracted them.

The only good thing that came out of this project was talking to neighbor who I found out had put a deposit down on a similar project with them. They could never get them to show up, they finally canceled the project after I explained my experience with them. They didn’t even get their full deposit back due to “administrative fees”. I highly recommend you go elsewhere for for landscape or drainage needs..

Distaster..

Overall, I would not recommend Olive Grove for your landscaping needs. Extremely disorganized, rude and overall quality of work was very poor. They never showed up when scheduled, would constantly blame the weather (even when we had 10 days of sunshine) and would not call to provide updates.

They do not listen or recognize not everyone likes the same style landscaping. In addition, be cautious as they do not stand behind their product.

The office is also disorganized. They sent me several inaccurate invoices in which I was being charged for plants I did not purchase. You are also supposed to receive your design deposit put towards the cost of the job if you go with their service. I had to ask for the credit. Definitely read your bills closely.

Updating my review after being told by ZGreen that they could not find me in their system. This property is serviced through the Loretto Club HOA, so individual homeowners would not necessarily appear as direct customers.

The issues remain unchanged. After nearly every cut, muddy ruts are left across the lots where riding mowers are used on saturated ground. These properties retain significant moisture, and this equipment is causing repeated damage. This is a situation that clearly requires push mowers, yet that adjustment is not being made.

Grass clippings and mulch are not properly collected—instead, they're blown back onto the lawn. More concerning, debris is being pushed into the stormwater system, contributing to sediment buildup in the basin and organic decay from the mulch.

Photos have been documented. This is an ongoing pattern of avoidable damage and poor practice, not an isolated issue.

Made an appointment for an estimate. No call, no show. Wasting people’s time is wasting their money.
