This company is thorough and efficient. The technicians are also knowledgeable and friendly.

Showed up early and spent just over an hour handling all my concerns. They cleaned the fireplace, helped me figure out why my gas starter wasn't working, and even investigated the backdraft problem I was having with my furnace/hot water heater. Throughout the entire process, they explained what they were doing and why and answered all my questions. At the end, even though they had done so much more, they only charged me for the cleaning! Great guys and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs great service at a good price!

I cannot recommend Naperville Chimney Services highly enough. I texted them in the overnight hours one night when we were experiencing a water leak and had a text waiting for me when I woke up that they were ready to help. Amy is a delight to communicate with and is very efficient and accomodating. Tyler and Ryan were out the next day and provided an extremely thorough inspection and sweep. Tyler's knowledge of every chimney aspect is beyond reproach. This is a solid, customer service and satisfaction oriented company that I would (and will) recommend again and again.

Great company with good honest people. Have used them for years and would not call anyone else.

Chimney Sweeps inspected the chimney and provided a report stating an unsatisfactory concrete condition and cracks around crown.

At same time contradicting to finding their technician called out not a safety issue and no fixes needed.

I had to get another chimney company, their finding was the same, the cracks needed fixing, water seeps through the cracks and damaged the bricks, recommended I get a masonary work done.

Thanks but no thanks, shortcoming by Naperville Chimney Sweeps made me think it is a non issue, matter of fact it was an issue that needed attention and not safe.

Would you get cheap service then get hit with expensive repairs?

Everyone we dealt with was very friendly. They were prompt when returning our call to set the appointment. Multiple reminders of the appointment were sent, even a text to let me know they were within 15 minutes, I appreciated the respect of my time.
Phil was very nice and professional. He took measures to protect the area around the fireplace as he worked. When he was done, he had photos to show me why we made the recommendations he did.
Safety recommendations were made as well.
This service is an excellent value for the cost.

I contacted NCS due to some mischievous Starlings that broke through the rusted screen on my chimney exhaust and started nesting in my gas fireplace chimney. I had a local wildlife service out a few weeks ago who were unable to help me. I ended up finding NCS through a Google search. Setting up a time for an inspection and cleaning was painless.

Tyler and Aeden came out to work on my fireplace and chimney. They called ahead and asked permission to show up early which was awesome. They went through everything with me and were incredibly detailed.

We ended up needing the cleaning, wildlife removal, and some repairs, all of which they went above and beyond to ensure were done flawlessly. They ended up getting the birds out, cleaning up all the left over mess from them, cleaning the exhaust, and completely repairing the outside and creating a new cage and new mesh.

On top of that, they were very personable and easy to talk to and really helped me understand everything that was going on. They reviewed everything with me and made sure that I understood all of the things that they needed to do.

If I could give 6 stars on this rating, I totally would, the bonus star would be worth it. I can't imagine anyone taking care of the mess we had here better than they did.

We just had a service from Naperville Chimney Services where we were told that our chimney needs repairs. One of the technicians explained a repair service and quoted 8 hours of labor plus materials. Then, strangely, we were quoted a price of 10k-30k. This equates to 3600$ an hour for labor, given 1000$ or so for materials. Some internet research suggests between 1 - 7K$ for the specific repair, with a median price of 2500$. The technicians gave some excuse for not completing the scheduled cleaning as well. Top it off with a rude office manager on the phone .... We both felt it was a scam. I am sure there are reputable chimney services in the area to hire instead.

I had these folks out to help with a mechanical problem on my chimney and figured I’d get the chimney inspected while I was at it.

They did the inspection and had findings to share. Due to their findings they would not perform any repairs because they don’t want to enable me to use my fireplace…like I don’t own my own level of risk.

To use my fireplace again they want anywhere from $10,000 to $30,000. I asked for the cheaper option and was told all options were in this price range. I go to do some research on the options and a stainless steel chimney liner is roughly $3800 installed. No thanks.

-When you deliver findings, respect people’s time, no one has time for long presentations and videos of the work you’re proposing. This is not a sales call, it’s a service call.
