They did a good job on repairing my dishwasher

Called to schedule a repair and phone was abruptly answered and I was told to go ahead and speak- I had 30 seconds. What was that?

Terrible customer service. Called and scheduled an appointment, and the day of no-show. So I call to follow up and they have no record. They don't even introduce themselves on the phone, as a proper business should.

This man was friendly, polite and efficient! I think his name was Tim. Thank you so much. Your company service has been great each time.

Absolute worst repair person I have ever dealt with. The repair main who showed up was unbelievably rude and nasty. I could not believe someone would act like this. I told him to leave my house and then he threatened me "dont touch me or you wont like what's going to happen". I wish I had his name.

Repair man Jim B was rude and condescending to my mother, calling her "sweetheart" in a condescending way as he man splained that he doesnt know when he can schedule a follow up repair saying "that's why I have secretaries". His only interest was collecting the fee to look at the dishwasher, which he barely did. Would highly NOT recommend.
Just look at the one reveiw they have on facebook.

They make you wait all day for a delivery of an ac unit then when you call they tell you oops sorry won't be in for another 1 to 2 days! Really? A phone call from them would have been nice. Some people do have obligations and things they had to reschedule to meet them. How unprofessional. Prior to this no big issues. Maybe tech was a few minutes late no big deal. But today was totally ridiculous!

Did not repair the dryer to full working condition yet charged nearly $200 for 15 minutes of work. When called to finish the repair, I was given a window between 11am to 1pm. Same repairman arrived at 4:08pm. No 'sorry for the delay' said. I don't trust this company. I feel I wasted my time & money!

The name of person that shows up to my 80 year old grandmas house was Jim, please do not use his company or services, dishonest, liar and a thief, he Made an estimate for $350 for replacement of the dryer belt, the dryer pulley, and the dryer rotors, he showed up today and never replace any of the parts except the dryer belt, I was there to inspected and notice the same old parts, he was ready to get pay and go for services not Surrendered. Not a honest business at all. Don’t let this person or business in your house. Who knows how many people been victims of this man and they not even know.

Jim was efficient and professional in diagnosing and fixing the washing machine. HQ has room for improvement: They gave a time window but didn't call to update when the tech couldn't make it. They said they'd call 30 min. before the tech arrived but never called. That said, Jim called in advance from his personal cell phone when he arrived back with parts the next day.

The refrigerator of my girlfriend's parents broke down on New Year's Eve while they were out of the country. I didn't think I'd be able to find someone to fix it that day. I called Abbott appliance and they sent Jim out. He had it fixed in about 30 mins. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He did an amazing job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or Abbott appliance to anyone.

The women I scheduled with was super helpful. They got me in the same day and she was great at keeping me up to date when the tech would arrive. Jim was great as well, very knowledgeable, professional and seemed like he knew his stuff. Knew right away what was wrong with our washing machine and our Gas Dryer.

Had them come to our home to fix a freezer. The freezer drawer was frozen shut. He and his partner able to get the drawer open, but did not take care of the issue of why it froze shut in the first place. Told me to unplug the refridge/freezer for at least 24 hours. Had to put frozen food into coolers. These guys then proceeded to throw dirty ice from the floor into the coolers. Was told to contact them when everything was defrosted and that they would come back to check the drain pipe. Called them back a day later and he acted like everything was done. He did not even check for if there was an problem or a clog. To make matters worse, the water from the freezer drained to the floor behind and adjacent to the unit warping the wooden frame around it. These guys seem like they don't know a thing about how to properly repair a freezer. Had another company come out a month later. That company was able to take the freezer drawer off, diagnose the problem, and fix it in only a few hours.

I highly recommend Abbott Appliance as an appliance repair shop. When I called, I was informed that it might take up to a week to get someone out to check out my oven door lock problem, but the phone person suggested I contact one of their service men directly who was nearby to see if he could fit me in. I called Jim and he had just finished up his previous appointment and could be over in 15 minutes. I understand this is pure luck and in reality has nothing to do with the 5 stars on this review. Jim's level of service and professionalism upon arrival is why this is a 5 star review. Jim asked me to unplug the stove before he arrived (easily done) so that he could see if he could simply reboot the "computer",. When Jim arrived he got directly on task, (the reboot did not work) he completed several diagnostic tests in short order and informed me that the computer board was fried. He then outlined my options to remedy the situation along with estimated time spans (crucial with the "supply chain" issues we face these days) and in short order I decided to replace the stove with a used stove. I asked Jim if he had any recommendations on brands, as well as stores that might sell used goods with warranties and he provided me that information. Then he asked me how I was going to remove the old stove to the curb, offering the use of a hand dolly and his help if I was interested. I took him up on the offer, we removed the stove to the curb and the new (used) stove was delivered on my preferred date and time. It has been my recent experiences that service technicians (and most service providers for that matter, been through a drive through lately?) view customers and work as an annoyance. Jim absolutely made my day (even though I had to replace an appliance). He was thorough, knowledgeable, professional and helpful.... and was kind enough to help me. If I could give ten stars I would.
