Appel Heating & Air Conditioning

We moved into a house that the previous owner had used Appel a dozen times for install of a new unit and tune ups so they came highly recommended.
We couldn't figure out what was going on with our system and called, got scheduled, and had them out very quickly. Otis was very polite and professional and figured out what the issue was (a landscaper cut our control wire) and got us fixed up and I didn't have sticker shock. I am very appreciative to have had such a good experience!

We have used Appel for years for yearly maintence and emergency service. Always get same day service for emergecies. The service techs are great.

Outstanding service from Appel Heating! I'd been using Another Company for several years. Shortly after I started using my furnace this fall I began to have uncontrollable coughing and trouble breathing. I had the Other Company do my annual maintenance cleaning and inspection. My symptoms got worse. The Other Company came back 2 more times, taped my furnace filter box in a few places, did some inspections, said that should fix it and I got worse. Then I got my air ducts cleaned by The Duct Squad (another excellent company!) and they recommended Appel Heating. 6 weeks had passed and I got sicker. So I called Appel Heating and they sent Otis just a few days later. Otis immediately took air quality readings and discovered that my 8 year old furnace was leaking carbon monoxide into my condo! The next day Nate came out, walked me through the process of what would be done and helped me order my furnace. Then the very next day Skylar and Nicolas showed up to replace everything in the tiny closet that housed my furnace. They ripped out all the faulty equipment, replaced my furnace and flues, built a box that uses a better furnace filter and installed a user friendly thermostat. They did an amazing job!! Appel obviously made the replacement of my furnace a high priority and at no additional cost. I cannot say enough positive things about this company!! I was very sick and none of my doctors at the VA Hospital could figure out what was wrong with me. Otis knew right away to check the air quality of my home. It's because of Otis, Skylar, Nicolas, Nate, and Caroline (she was so patient when I first called and explained how badly I needed help) that my condo is a safe place again and I'm breathing better. I'll be forever grateful The Duct Squad told me to call Appel Heating and Appel sent Otis, Skylar and Nicolas to my home.
