Got a dumpster from them and they were there in a half hour after I asked for it. There was a miscommunication and the picked it up early. I called and they brought a new one out no questions asked.

One of their dump trucks threw a rock into my windshield while going down the road with no tarp. Contacted the company on Thursday and was told someone would call me back. Have heard nothing. Surprise, surprise

They mow the grass where I live. The mowers are to wide for our lawns. Grass is very uneven. Weed eaters miss more than the cut. They leave grass in the lawn furniture. Clean up is even worse. Leaf and grass blowers are just bad. Grass is left every where.

They mow the grass in the subdivision I live in. They mow the grass pretty well but their cleanup leaves something to be desired.
I have a patio and they ALWAYS do a P*** poor job using the leaf blower to blow the grass off of it. I always have to come out with a broom after they leave and sweep away all the grass they left. There's always a lot around my doorframe which is about the last place you want a bunch of grass to be left.

If they'd do a better job with the leafblower I'd give them a higher review.

Oh! Also, I once left a potted plant outside. They came by with a weed eater and knocked several vines off my plant. Absolutely, ridiculous!

Needed my yard fixed right and knew from using them in the past they could do it. As expected they did a great job and corrected someone else’s attempt to do it right. Call them if your looking for a professional job.

I'm a long time customer and couldn't be more satisfied with Riley's excavating & lawn service, they do top notch work at a fair price, I use them for all my lawn,landscaping and excavating needs. The whole team is professional and cordial.

Wonderful all around experience! They were attentive, informative, responsive and reasonable. Chris worked really hard on our challenging driveway. Chris is wonderful! Had a couple torrential storms and he came right out and fixed it. Highly recommend Riley's!

Excavation is one of the hardest tasks to bid in the construction process. As a professional builder I have relied on Riley’s for almost a decade. They have always been fair to both me and my homeowners. As a Building professional you simply want your excavating company to be fair, honest, and timely. Riley’s has always encompassed all 3 disciplines . That is why as a professional I continue to rely on their services. Top notch honest company. A decade in the books and at least a decade to grow.

Riley’s is working next door to my house and they are the most professional, friendly, and go over the top to help people type of team. I’ll hire them any day to my yard work. Highly recommend

I have worked with Riley’s on several projects and have had nothing but good experiences. They show up when they say they will and their competitive prices help our projects stay within budget. Their trucks have helped with hauling on numerous occasions and they are a good source for topsoil and larger decorative stones. They have also completed various utility installations as well as high quality landscaping and site restoration. I will continue to use them and highly recommend to anyone looking for site work related projects large or small.

We ordered filtered dirt for a large landscaping project. The price was about 30% less than the other estimates we got. It was delivered quickly and we only saw one rock in the entire load.
Highly recommend!

1/15/26 8:27 a.m. Riley’s truck TK-2. Was absolutely overloaded with salt swerving from line to line. I was behind him for 10 minutes and I watched him cause almost two accidents because cars were getting out from behind him because they were being pelted with salt chunks so they would switch lanes quickly and almost get rear ended by oncoming traffic..

I have not worked with this company but I do want to share a story about the owner. My daughter had a car accident and slid off the road into the creek. (She is ok and unharmed). Matt happened to drive by shortly after I arrived at the scene and offered to help. He somehow maneuvered the car out of the creek and even drove it to our house down the street. Not everyone would do that. It was freezing cold and I’m sure he had places to be. His kindness meant the world to us during this stressful situation and I can’t help but think that tone trickles down throughout his company. We just wanted to publicly say thank you!!
