We had Carsen out today to do repair work on the chimney. He did a complete inspection of the fireplace, gas line and chimney. He completed the repair work and everything is now working great. I would recommend Chimney Restoration and Carsen for any fireplace or chimney work you need done. They are very thorough and extremely reasonable. Great job !!!!!

The owner and ALL the staff went above and beyond in EVERY aspect of their work with us from estimating to finishing some pretty complex work. We had a fairly comprehensive job involving the removal and replacement of an entire fireplace in our great room. I would call it major surgery and the finished product was exactly as they described it in the statement of work. They also replaced an older chimney cap on another fireplace. I was fairly particular about each step and each of them understood and delivered great customer service. Chris, the owner, clearly cares about his customers and his employees. All of them are customer oriented and skilled. I had references on their work as well as two other bidders. Thanks to very honest references we selected KCCR. The estimates from the other two bidders were wildly out of line. This is a solid company that takes pride in their work and professionalism. Highest recommendation!

I found a crack in my chimney crown. The crown was not original to the house because I had a fireplace insert put in sum 20 years ago. I called Chimney Restoration to get a quote on fixing the crown. It was probably built correctly for the time, but more recent improvements are by design. I thought while I was at it I would have them do a complete upgrade to the outside surface and replace some of the bricks that had cracked from ice and water expansion over the years. They did a very complete job including protecting deck surfaces and cleanup. I would recommend them again.

Chris, Joseph and the entire crew were on time, knowledgeable, experienced, very professional and polite, while performing their work in record heat! They took great care of our 100+ year old fireplace.

I want to commend Chimney Restoration of Kansas City for the excellent service throughout my Chimney repair. It was changed from a gas fireplace to an electric and rebuilding my chimney and installing a new chase cover. Everyone was very professional and care was exhibited throughout the process. As the work progressed they made sure to provide continuous updates and it was very reassuring that my repair was running smoothly.
I would like to commend Kyle (head lead). He was extremely hard working and professional. My Pomeranian (Augie) wanted all his attention and looked forward to seeing him come work on the chimney.
The others that come out were Caden, Chris, Bryan, and I hope I am not leaving anyone out. Everyone worked hard and worked so well together. They were pleasant and knowledgeable! Everyone on the crew worked steadily, showed up early, and stayed until goals for the day were completed.

Kevin and Jay arrived on time and due to forecasted weather conditions for the area, they were able to get our job done in 2 days. We were very happy with Kevin and Jay as they are personable young men that did a fantastic job and cleaned up the job site thoroughly inside and out. Chimney Restoration of Kansas City recently completed a fairly large job at my home. They did a great job, were very professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to text, call and meet to discuss every step of the project and make sure I understood the entire process. They even came back out the following day after the project was complete to ensure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Chimney Restoration of Kansas City for any chimney and fireplace needs!

The guys were very knowledgeable and courteous. They respected the property and our cat who was very curious of what they were doing. Any questions were answered right away and nicely. Everything was picked up afterwards and pictures were given to us for before and after. Would definitely recommend them. Joseph and Kyle Wealot are a great team.

We needed a complete tear down of our 130 year old chimney. CR of KC was one of 3 companies that quoted us. Chris was quick to respond, came out within a few days to quote us and walked us through everything. He didn’t try to up sell or recommend anything that wasn’t needed. We scheduled and he and his crew were on time and completed the job in one day. He sent me progress photos of the job throughout the day and the cleanup was phenomenal. I highly recommend Chimney Restoration of KC. I’m a real estate agent and they are now on my preferred vendor list.

Chimney Restoration of Kansas City is one of the best companies to do business with. They installed a gas insert in the fireplace and the insert is such an improvement. The staff are outstanding and all detail minded.

From the beginning visit to see if an Electric Fireplace could be installed in my old fireplace, to the very last day finishing up, the crews that worked with me were excellent. Very knowledgeable, thorough, prep and finish were all excellent. They laid out a tarp and plugged in a shop vac and immediately cleaned up anything. They went above and beyond what I expected. We are extremely happy with our new fireplace. It was just in time for Christmas and the family all loved it too. I would highly recommend using Chimney Restoration of Kansas City. The office and crews were awesome to work with.

Edit: Some of the installation was not done right, which could have led to issues this winter. Fortunately, it was caught when the gas company came for a different reason. CRoKC did immediately come and fix the problem areas, but they really shouldn't have been there in the first place (and we wouldn't have known if we hadn't had a separate issue bring it to our attention!)
(original review): After receiving what I considered a ridiculous quote from a competitor, I got a "second opinion" from Chimney Restoration. Kortney in the office was fantastic with communication throughout the whole process. Ben came out and was very thorough in addressing the same issues as the previous company, and came back with a much more reasonable price, plus an option that wouldn't break the bank but would get us through a couple years until we could complete everything on the list. When it was time to do the work, Kyle and Jared were awesome. They communicated wonderfully throughout the process, and were respectful of our home and space. The work was completed on time on the days promised. All communication was transparent from the estimate through the end of work, and I felt like the pricing was honest. Great company and great personnel to work with from start to finish!

Chimney Restoration did a great job rebuilding my chimney crown. Work was done in a day and forms removed the next day. The crew was a great group of guys. I would highly recommend.

We had Chimney Restoration of KC out to clean and inspect our fireplace for the upcoming season. Carsen was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them for all of your fireplace needs!

We had a wood burning fireplace that chimney restoration replaced with a gas log fireplace insert. They came out promptly and inspected to make sure it was safe to install. A complete written estimate was given on the spot and the price did not vary from that.. we had to have the old wood burning insert removed before the new one was installed..they put down clean tarps and rugs and built a tent around the area to protect the house from dirt and damage. It took 2 days with removal of old and installing the new. Joseph Wealot was the person who headed up the entire project, calling with times of arrival and all notifications… an additional piece came in a bit later but Chris ( the owner) was in touch with text and calls throughout the process. All personnel were respectful, knowledgeable , and wore clean uniforms. Very hard working group as we had a crew of 6 the first day with inside and outside work to be done. I would absolutely use this company again and will for future inspections of the fireplace…highly recommend!

MY HEROES! These guys helped me rescue my cat from our chimney today! I woke up to my poor girl meowing from our fireplace and we could not for the life of us find where she was at. We called the fire department, animal control, wildlife rescue and finally- Chimney Restoration of Kansas City. When I called Chris told me he had helped out with a rescue around four years ago so I was instantly relieved. I knew he was going to do everything he could to help me make sure my beloved pet was safe and sound.

HUGE shoutout to Chris and Carson, they were so sweet and reassuring. They immediately headed my way once they got my call. We had to make sure she wouldn't be spooked (she's very anxious and could have fallen down the flue) so we all decided I should be the one grab her. Thankfully she saw me and made her way toward safety, the rest was sweet relief! They knew exactly how to handle this crazy situation, and helped coached me through all of it.

Not only were these men absolute professionals- but kind caring individuals and problem solvers. Whatever it is you need help for, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Chris and Carson- I don't know what I would have done without you both!!!
