Do not use this company. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional manager before. Kenneth is nothing but disrespectful and tries to weasle his way out of things. He claimed to not have the time to drive that far to come to my property to see the tree that needed to come down and requested photos instead. I sent him pictures of the tree and he gave me an estimate based off those photos and we came to an agreement on a price. He then realized he didnt do his job correctly and was upset that he is charging us less than what he would have if he actually came and saw the tree before agreeing. I then received several text messages from him trying to guilt trip me into giving him more money because he screwed up. His text messages were desperate and obnoxious. Every phone call we had including him throwing a pity party for himself because he wanted more money from me. Then while the tree was being chopped down I watched large pieces of the tree hit my fence several times and cause damage to it. I then texted him and asked for his insurance and he straight up said "we are not going to turn anything into the insurance company" and refused to give me the information multiple times. He offered to fix my fence instead and when I asked for that agreement to be written on paper he threw a tantrum on the phone claiming that his word is trustworthy. Kenneth talked down to my wife telling her to hand the phone back to me so I could handle it, implying that she is incapable and then mockingly called her "honey". The next day he then told me that "This is no longer a white industry. I've been working with blacks and Hispanics for 30 years now and they're the only ones who can get the job done right in this amount of time". The way he spoke to my wife and the way he spoke about his employees is not only disrespectful but shows the type of person he is. He continues to refuse to give me his insurance information and keeps trying to strike up deals to avoid giving me the information which makes me believe he is not actually insured. I would not recommend this company at all only due to Kenneth who runs it. The actual employees who were doing the real work were fine and did the job, Kenneth on the other hand does not seem trustworthy and I regret giving him business.

Arlington tree service has taken out a tree for us and they did it well and the price was reasonable. In addition we order firewood from them every few years, depending on how much firewood we use they are always excellent.

Arlington took down an old 120 ft oak tree from my front yard. They worked together as a team quickly and efficiently. Communication was good with the company and they completed the job to my satisfaction.

Had a huge honey locust tree removed yesterday (taller than our 2 story house) and the team was so impressive! They carved the tree down with surgical precision and such great teamwork! They also cleaned up good! Will hire again...

I have used Arlington Tree Service for all my tree removal/trimming needs for many years, and I have recommended them to numerous friends and family members, as well. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest tree service company that does everything they say they will do and do it the right way, at a very reasonable price.

I’ve just used Arlington Tree Service for the second time, and I highly recommend them for your tree needs. Tree work always seems really expensive, but it’s so well worth it when it’s an experience that exceeds expectations like mine just was this afternoon. Owner Kenneth Littrell had met with me prior to discuss my needs and provided highly appreciated recommendations. The crew just left and they were politely professional, very respectful of property, hardworking, and their tree work and clean-up was impeccable.
It seems like there’s an inordinate number of tree companies out there, especially following challenging weather situations, so do your due diligence. For value received and confidence in execution, Arlington is topnotch!

Initial Communication was fantastic. A guy came out same day to give us an estimate. The disconnect was when we waited 10 days for an estimate that we called for 3 different times. They couldn't schedule us for 2 more weeks, when we have a limb that is cracked and about to fall on our garage. The lady said she would see if they could schedule sooner but never called me back. If you have time to kill, they may or may not do quality work but if you're in need, go with someone else!!!

Make sure that you are actually able to speak to Kenneth when making your quote as they will quote you for something and then not clarify when they come to do the work. Also make sure you're actually with them when they get your quote and they just don't look over your fence and assume because they showed up without calling first or notifying you of their arrival. The ladies in the office will tell you everything is taken care of, confirm what you need done but unless you speak with the owner, you won't know for certain. A lady my husband spoke to said "just point what you need done, and it'll be done". It wasn't and they refused to do it when asked. They could have modified our quote then, but refused. Unfortunately due to a lack of communication on the company's part and within their staff it leads to misunderstandings in what work will be done and what their customers are paying for in service. Pay a little bit more money to work with a company who is clear on the work they intend to complete and value the importance of meeting their customer's expectations. Customer service is invaluable.

We booked this company to remove several trees and clean under-growth on others. They did outstanding work. A very fast, courteous and hard-working team who know what they’re doing. I would definitely use them again.

Kenneth Littrell Absolutely went above and beyond for my family during this ice storm.. His crew came and knocked out massive tree that landed on my house.. Being that we are out of electric was thoughtful enough to give us some firewood to keep us warm. Customer service is dead these days but not with these guys. He answered the phone every time I called and addressed every issue I had.. Being in real estate I know it’s hard to beat someone that provides fast effective measures when you need them the most! Excellent job. The guys went above and beyond. They spread the shredded bark around my bushes in the yard. They cleaned and raked the yard .it looks great.

The crew was courteous, professional, and fast with quality, the cleanup was great. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to do that work, it saved a lot of time and back pain, I’m not as young as I used to be. Thank you for all you guys have done.

We were very disappointed with Central Ky tree service. They were asked to cut a number of trees in our back yard. We requested they save some of the wood since we burn wood in our fireplace. They removed all the wood, disregarding our request. When asked about it they replied they promised to bring us firewood this fall. After numerous calls about the firewood they finally brought us a pile of rotten wood. Unbelievable!!Very frustrating!!

I took out a small tree in my backyard at the beginning of March. My wife called 1 company and scheduled them. They never showed. I then contacted someone else and played phone tag for 2 weeks. Finally I called Tony at Central KY Tree Service and BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE (not literally). I talked to Tony on Friday and he said he'd be out Saturday morning. I asked him to call when he was on the way. Saturday morning, my phone rings and its Tony telling me he's on the way. About an hour later and I no longer have an annoying tree stump in my backyard. Tony was great to work with, stayed in communication and great to talk with. I definitely recommend him and his company.

Called Tony looking for a load of seasoned firewood and he got right back to me. He delivered it and neatly stacked it up and even straightened around the pile where I had some old wood. Not to mention the fact the fire wood burns great! Highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him again when I need another load.

We had a 20 year old Bradford pear that had a branch finally give way to its own weight. I called around to several tree services, but Central KY was the fastest to respond and they were very friendly.

The crew arrived on time and removed the tree efficiently and left very little mess after the fact. We also had them grind up the stump that was left.

Communication does leave a bit to be desired as the crew that removed the tree just removed it and left. I was confused because they didn't grind the stump. I called and was told that it was a different crew that removed the stump. They ultimately came a couple of weeks later, and even ground up the remaining surface roots. We also had a small invoicing issue which was corrected immediately and without issue.

I would certainly recommend Central KY Tree Service to anyone and will use them again if the need arises.

They did a wonderful job. I've been hesitant to trim a certain shade tree for years but now I wish I had called them sooner. I'm very pleased and highly recommend them.

Allen and his workers did a great job removing 5 trees for us. Very professional. They showed up on time. And had the best price quote out of 7 quotes we received. I would recommend them highly. Thanks Allen
