$150 to tell me everything was good, Chimney was clean. No work was done at all!!! Here only 30 minutes.

Ron did such a thorough cleaning of the area around the fireplace, that I could not tell that he had been here.

He also told me about damaged shingles that are located between the chimney and ridge vent. Something we would not notice from the ground.

My experience with Basic Chimney Sweep was great. Mr. Callais was very professional and explained to me exactly what repairs were necessary and how they were acheived. He called to follow up after the repair was made and even came out to check the repairs himself after the fact. He further suggested I become an Angie's List customer (which I did) so that I could see other people's reviews of him and other contractors in the area.

Very helpful and knowledgeable about chimney repairs and safety. Appreciate their insight on how best to make our fireplace useable again.

The crew arrived as expected. Within about 30 minutes, they had our gas fireplace and chimney inspected and running. (We are in a new house, so we wanted to have it checked out before we turned it on.) Everyone was friendly and had a great demeanor. Price was right too! They even let me make a video of them showing how to start it and all of the different parts of the unit. (I'm a newbie to a gas fireplace.)

I had my dryer duct work cleaned today and they were amazing! They were on time (early, actually!), and inspected everything: at the dryer, in the attic, and the cap where it vents on the roof. He explained everything to me and was professional and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Can I tell you Jonathan saved my deal at Regency Real Estate, LLC! On the inspection report, the chimney flue was to be cleaned and the issue had not been addressed prior to my closing. Down to the wire, I called CC Chimney Sweep and mentioned my situation. Jonathan who answered my call was very friendly, polite and understanding, saved my day. These are truly honest people! They’re professional and honest. They came today to clean my fireplace, they examined it, showed me how to keep the flute closed, explained and answered questions. Said that the fireplace was fine and didn’t need cleaning. I was willing to pay them for cleaning but Chris said it didn’t need it. How many other people would have done that? None that I know of….. They are truly honest people!! I highly recommend them! I’m telling my story to everyone I meet! Thank you Chris!!

The crew arrived on time and were very friendly. I felt very comfortable with them working our home. They worked efficiently and thoroughly. We noticed right away that the slight musty aroma we encountered when we come in the house was gone. We were very impressed with their work and will use them again.

I suppose they cleaned the fireplace. Didn’t climb in it to check. What really impressed me was the inspection and quick quote to replace my “worn out” firebricks. They aren’t cracked, crumbling or spalling. Mine do need repointing. Fire bricks don’t lose efficiency, but can break, That’s when they should be replaced. Guy quoted me $4500 to replace the perfectly good bricks, install a new damper. So, we’re talking about 4-700 in material and one guy should be able to complete this work in a day. I supposed the service was fine but I will pay AN ACTUAL MASON a few hundred to replace the bricks when they actually need to be replaced in about 100 years.

Responded quickly to my call for dryer vent/duct clean-out. Arrived on time and was very courteous, professional, prompt and thorough. They also didn't try to upsell; just took care of the business requested.

Jonathan and Chris were very knowledgeable. We called to have our chimney swept and inspected and they installed gas logs for us as well. They showed me how to use the fireplace and answered all of my questions. Services were completed for a very reasonable price.

Jonathan did an excellent job of cleaning my dryer vent which vents through my roof. It was full of lint and he cleaned my roof and utility room. He was personable, courteous and knowledgeable.
