I called them. Spoke to Jack who said he'd send Robert. But Robert was a no show. Said he'd hurt his shoulder.

So Jack said he'd come out himself, between 1 and 3 pm he said. Butt when I hadn't heard from him by 2:45 I called him. It was like he totally forgot about me Said he hadn't gotten to another appointment yet. Told him forget about it.

THREE days WASTED, dealing with these people.

Jack came out the same day to fix my fridge. He showed me the routine maintenance things I should be doing to prevent my issue moving forward. Quick, easy and great prices. Thanks Jack

I received AMAZING telephone support from Jack at Citywide Appliance. I had a problem with my washing machine. It stopped midway through a cycle and I couldn't get it to start. Since it was Saturday, I was unable to even reach other companies but Jack answered the telephone and guided me through each step. (That itself took patience since I didn't even know where the breaker was!) Note, this was a "no charge" service! I will most definitely call on Citywide for all appliance needs and recommend Citywide MOST highly. My only complaint is that Jack can't be cloned!!!

Second time we used this guy....first time was good with quick service and low price. This time has been very bad. He basically came out to the house collected $75 to say our ice maker was broken. Not much help given that's why we called him! Now it's been impossible to get him back out to fix the thing. Then to make matters worse he got creepy with my wife and she doesn't want to be there when/if he comes back.

Horrible business people! I wish I had listened to the poor reviews they received. I contacted this company and told them the exact problem that is wrong with my dryer and they said no problem we'll be there around 3pm the next day. I asked that they contact me when coming because my husband had to leave work. Again, no problem. Day of I contacted them to make sure they were still coming and will still be there around 3pm. I had to refresh his memory again and he said yes that should be OK but I will call when heading there. It's 5pm I called no answer so I texted to make sure they were still coming because my husband was home waiting and they replied "unable to make...for dryer repair". They waited until I contacted them before they even let me know they weren't coming. Worst customer service ever. I will never use them for anything and will post these post on all their platforms.

Calling this company was THE WORST MISTAKE I EVER MADE! It’s really disheartening to put your trust in someone, that is supposed to be professional, and be completely scammed like I was! I called Jack, who answered promptly but then sent Sidney to do the work on my Refigetator. Sidney came, charged me $200 and claimed that the Refigetator was repaired. Two days later it was doing the same thing. It took another 2 days to contact Sidney and during that time all of my food was spoiled! Sidney took no responsibility and told me that I needed to call Jack…so I did. Jack was completely unsympathetic, unprofessional and actually appeared to be annoyed at my awful situation. To add insult to injury Jack told me he would refund me $105 the next day and never showed up and stopped answering our calls. THIS GUY IS A SCAM ARTIST! Please don’t trust him!!

Very nice and fixed my washer right away. Other folks I called said the dryer had to be moved from top and I was stood up twice by other people. He came next day. The only reason he hasn't gotten a four is that he came 4 hours late. But he showed me how to fix it in the future and cleaned under my frig. I already hired him to fix a rental unit dishwasher.

I couldn’t be anymore happier jack was able to fix my dishwasher. He was very nice and knowledgeable. First time using his company and definitely will use again. Thank you for the great service!

EDIT: I called again to have my washer repaired. Jack came promptly to do a diagnosis (which I paid for in cash up front) and said he would return several days later to fix it. He never came. I called and texted several times and got no response.

WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Worst experience ever. I spoke with Jack who sent a guy named Robert to fix my fridge. (It was freezing my tenants food) The freezer worked just fine. He came, “worked on my fridge” and within a few days, the entire fridge stopped working. Good luck contacting these guys because it took me days of constant calls, and missed appts to have him just come back out. He finally came when I was out of town, gave me a diff update than he did my tenant, and basically didn’t fix the fridge. I ended up just taking the lost of 180. I basically paid someone to break my fridge. SMH. It’s sad ppl take advantage of others but it’s the world we live in. Take my work, DON’T USE THIS “COMPANY”.

maybe ever. Only repair service I'll use in the future. Called New Appliance Repair on Magazine St after waiting for over two weeks for a repairman called City Wide, Jack showed up next day my ice maker fixed within 24 hours. Professional Service

emailed this a.m. about service for gas oven not working properly. Got return call from Jack Meyer & said that he could come out this afternoon... Jack was awesome. He fixed the problem in no time @ all... It was great to be able to get the same day service... Thanks Jack & I'll remember to call City Wide for any repairs in the future....

Jack immediately answered answered my phone call without the call going to voicemail. He asked all the important questions regarding what was wrong with my refrigerator. He came out for service immediately/same day knowing I was in a jam. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing. VERY reasonable on price, I HIGHLY recommend his company/business! I definitely rate this review 5 stars!!!!

Jack and the guys always do quality work at an affordable price. My dryer works like it did when it was brand new, my refrigerator doesn't freeze the veggies anymore, and my dishwasher was never this quiet. So very happy that I found this company.

I had the worst experience ever after calling these people. They really don't know what they are doing and are out to rip customers off. My experience was even worst than if they would have ripped me off. Initially they came diligently the same day and like con artist they knew I would be obligated to pay their trip charge. I called them to repair my separate freezer. While they were here I asked could they see why my Refrigerator made a noise. He said it needed a relay so he changed it but it worked fine. The next morning my refrigerator filled with food was completely out. I called and they said they would come out that morning. I waited but no show. No show all that day and I finally got a call late and he assured they would be out that morning. No show again all day. I threw away everything. They finally came out the third day but could not fix. However they gave me a number of a guy who did. A few days later the freezer they repair went out. They loss I incurred was astronomical. My family with out food for days. Worst, was the helplessness I felt.

Thank you thank you. My stove broke on Thanksgiving day and I was devastated. Jack came out promptly and was able to have me up and running within a hour. He saved our day. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again but just in case it does I have his number saved as my #1 appliance repair man.

August, 9, 2020 - Jack Meyer came to our rescue again, and a phenomenal successful rescue at that. From Dallas, Texas, I called Mr. Meyer late in the afternoon on Sunday, August 3, 2020, to ask for his recommendation of a Air Conditioner Repair Company in New Orleans for my Mother. I did not see Air Conditioning Repair Services on his website. However, because he previously did such wonderful quality work on my Mothers' refrigerator, I thought he might know of someone I could call for Air Conditioner repairs. And to my unexpected surprise, when I shared the problem my Mother was having with her window air conditioners, Mr. Meyer quickly said, "I can take care of that for her." What a relief to hear those words. He told me he would be at my Mother's home the very next day, August 4, 2020 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., and that is exactly what he did, a honest and true man of his word. He assessed both air conditioners, and completed all the needed repairs in a very timely manner. I am so very impressed with Jack Meyer, and my family and I trust him and the incredible quality work and services he provides. His attention to details, knowledge, impeccable customer service, commitment and dedication to his customers are above reproach and repeatedly commendable. He is determined and devoted to pleasing his customers and goes above and beyond the call of duty to give you peace of mind. Also, his rates are more than reasonable for all the outstanding services he consistently continues to provide. He is kind, personable, trustworthy, loyal to his customers, and he has a wonderful servant leader mindset. We know we can count on Jack Meyer anytime we call him. I don't understand the most recent negative review posted. Wow! Jack Meyer is awesome!!! I live in another state, found his company online and called Jack at 8:00p.m. on 6/8/2020, expecting to get voicemail, but he quickly answered. I explained to him the refrigerator issue with my Mother's refrigerator, (she lives in New Orleans). He assured me he would make the call to my Mother's home the next day. And Jack is a man of his word, he went to her home the very next day, and thoroughly took care of the problem, did outstanding quality work. He is knowledgeable, personal, I felt like I'd known him for years. He put me at ease, as I was trying to take care of a problem for my Mother from another state.
