Peter arrived within a couple of hours from my call about a smoking clothes dryer. He upgraded the 220v outlet and installed and tested the new machine for a very reasonable price.

Peter came to my house to take a look at the job that I was proposing. He arrived on time and ready to assess the situation. I had to have a radon system installed, and the electric needed to be hooked up. I am in the process of selling my house, so there were additional findings that needed to be tended to. Peter and I addressed each of them thoroughly. We were coming up on the Christmas holiday and Peter knew that my timeline was short. He quite literally made a last-minute accommodation to start and complete the job on the timeline that I required.

On the day he came to do the work. He arrived with an older gentleman to whom I introduced myself. I came to learn that I was introducing myself to the man who started this company; Peter’s father. Here was the man who started this company from nothing. Alongside him was another man who is now taking this company and building upon what his father had started. In a roundabout way seeing these two men working side by side gave me pause to see that the industrious nature of small business is alive and well. I trust this company and these two men implicitly. The next work I need to have performed, either large or small, this will be the company I turn to.

Unity Electric was hired by my contractor while we finished our basement. They added several electrical outlets, recessed lights, switches to the main space, bathroom and storage spaces. Peter and Foto did all the work. They both were a pleasure to work with. Kind, respectful, knowledgeable, professional, and tidy. They did such a fabulous job that we are having them come back and add in some recessed lights to our main living space and fix some issues throughout the house. Peter took the time to walk me through all the lights they installed and showed me the switches they belonged to. I overheard him thanking his employee for the work they did for the day and it shows how much they value both their customers and employees. Unity Electric did a great job of installing my fairly inconveniently located home EV Charger that also required a sub panel, and setup wiring for my near future shed construction. They even did some patching when they were done. Excellent work and great people. I will definitely reach out to them with all my projects needing electrical work.
