Was very nice and knowledgeable but then stopped showing up and answering when we inquired about scheduled mows.

Often doesn't show up when they say they will. Went an entire month without showing up when they were suppose to on multiple occasions. Then they completely ghosted me, and just stopped responding.

The short of it:
Unbeatable prices, good work but some things get left undone. Communication needs improving. Owner is a good guy and tries to keep good people in the business.
Can't recommend without forewarning.

The long of it:
Good guy, unreliable business. Ghosted our community and we spent over $1000 correcting the problem BDLC created and left us with. Did good work for us previously but always something left undone that was agreed upon; creating otherwise unnecessary problems for us to handle. Took the last prepayment, request for refund went unanswered. It's fine if a business wants to focus on bigger jobs and margins but the current customers that don't fit that must be told so they can make other arrangements. It didn't have to come to this, but BDLC is no longer recommended to anyone in or outside our community.

Responding to the owner's feedback 3 days after my original post.
Changing 🌟 from 2 to 3.5 because the owner is a good guy but I cannot recommend his business to others without forewarning. The original post was at the behest of others in my community but they retain their own voices. I used my own account because I have been standing-up for the owner and his business throughout our dealings, even after we were ghosted. Ghosted means end of service with no communication or notice provided to the customer. I did not say prepayment was not returned, no notice was provided as I requested. Simply sharing our experiences with BDLC isn't slander. I stated good work was done and our community was largely happy with it. This was shared with the owner. The owner declined to raise his price even though I advised him to do so, our community leaders raised it anyway but we were ghosted and thus could not finalize the increase, this was also shared with the owner in text. BDLC left us with 2 large fields of 3-4 feet grass due to lack of service and communication. Our community didn't dissolve or betray the relationship with BDLC, the owner made choices that did.

I recently hired M&G for a tree service, and I couldn't be happier with the results! They expertly tackled a gigantic tree that was dangerously close to my home. With care, they roped off every single branch, ensuring that there was no damage to my property.
Their professionalism and skill truly impressed me.

David and his crew did an excellent job today removing four trees that were close to my house in Severna Park. They worked very carefully and got every single tree down without damaging any of the surrounding fences, powerlines and other parts to my house and yard. Very impressed I would highly recommend them to anyone else. Their pricing was very competitive and they showed up quickly. Highly recommend.

M&G Tree Service did an excellent job removing a large tree from my property. The team was friendly, respectful, and very efficient. They explained everything clearly before starting and made sure I was comfortable with the process. The job was completed faster than I expected, and the cleanup was spotless. Great pricing and outstanding service overall!

Glenda and the guys were great! Very responsive, quick, and punctual. I spoke with her for a quote and she was able to come out the same day. Just got my tree removed today. Glenda messaged me at 6am that her guys would be here by 7:30am. They were here by 7:10am, tree was completely down by 7:30am! They even took some extra fallen branches for me (extra fee of course) and were gone by 7:45am. My yard looks so much better now. I will definitely be working with them again soon. Thank you guys!

If anyone needs tree trimming or trees cut down, I HIGHLY recommend KJA Tree Trimming. I had both services done today and I am so pleased. They were professional, efficient and the cleanup was second to none. EXCELLENT WORK!!

We had three trees removed and the stumps grinded the only thing better than their service was their price. The owners are extremely friendly and great to work with.

I was VERY pleased!! Their estimate was very reasonable. They arrived on time, took down a tree that was as tall as my three story home in ,90 minutes and cleaned up all the debris. I'd recommend KJA to anyone!!!

Very professional, punctual and affordable. Also, they are very flexible when it comes to schedule. They clear out your yard clean, cut and stack up logs neatly if you want to keep them. These folks are veteran in tree trimming and cutting.

Outstanding, prompt customer service! They came next day for estimate which was a VERY reasonable price. They showed up on time, cut down 3 large trees, grinded stumps, cleaned the area thoroughly, and did a fabulous job. I recommend them to my mom and she was pleased as well. I had 3 trees removed and the removal team was great. It's been awhile since I had the job done right and the cleanup was excellent. The customer service is what tipped the scale to 5 stars. Prompt and responsive. The price was good also.

KJA Landscaping came out to my house last Thursday to give me an estimate for tree removal. Although skeptical at first I took a chance and boy did I hit the jackpot. Glenda and her husband was so friendly and professional. When I asked about insurance she immediately texted me a copy of their policy. She put me on the schedule for the upcoming Tuesday. It rained Monday night and was still drizzling Tuesday morning which of course is more dangerous than doing when dry. Glenda kept me informed of their status via text. She asked if I would like to reschedule but my tree had already loss a very large branch too close to my house. The crew got here on time just as promised. These guys work together like a well oiled machine. They looked like they were having fun doing it. Way too much hard work for the average joe. The price was reasonable. The service was outstanding. If you need tree service KJA is the way to go.
