Atlantic Coastal Cooling and Heating, Inc. (ACCH)

I'm so glad I found Atlantic Coastal. First: it's an actual small business (not one that masquerades as a small business but is actually a huge corporate chain) and the woman who handles scheduling etc is wonderful. The tech who came out (Paul) was great. We have a whole house minisplit system (2 external compressors and 4 indoor air handlers). The system was installed by a local business that was subsequently bought out by a private equity firm and since then their service has been terrible and extremely expensive. They wanted to charge us over $1,000 to clear the drain line on one of the indoor air handlers, and said it would take 2 service personnel to do it (after they attempted to clear the drain line from outside and failed for which they charged us $350 for a 5 minute visit). I was so fed up with the old company that I searched for a new service provider and found Atlantic Coastal. They came out very quickly, sent one guy (who actually had experience with mini split systems) and he cleared and tested it from inside in literally less than 10 minutes, for like $75 (plus the service call fee, which is industry standard). So they did a job for $75+$130 that the other company (okay it’s GAC from Gaithersburg) was charging us over $1,000 to do.

Atlantic Coastal does great work at a reasonable price. The service people are always on time and very professional. It is easy to book an appointment. We have had our HVAC maintenance contract with them for several years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!

I have used Atlantic Coastal Cooling and Heating for years. They have completed maintenance on my furnace and air conditioning units. What I love about them is that they are honest, they don't try to sell me unnecessary items or "create" repairs that aren't needed.
I recently had BOTH of my a/c units stop working at the SAME TIME. I called Atlantic Coastal for an emergency visit and they were out within a couple of hours and got everything up and running again.
Billy is my favorite technician. He’s AWESOME! He is thorough, knows what he is doing and takes the time to explain what needs to be done.
From my experience, not all HVAC companies and technicians are created equal. Atlantic Coastal is definitely one of the best in my experience. I am grateful to have a company that I can TRULY rely on to provide the service I need for my heating and cooling and feel confident that they will do their best and be honest about my needs.
