I hired Avalos Stone and Landscaping years ago to find a solution to block the view of my neighbors' driveway which is full of cars. Avalos suggested planting skip laurels, so I had 9 of them planted; and they've now filled in nicely and grown tall. Perfect solution for the problem. I also had them install some pavers installed along the side of my house and replace the steps to my front door. Everything went smoothly. I'm about to hire them again for more work in my back yard.

They did a great job removing an old concrete driveway and replaced with new sod. Highly recommended.

I asked Lester to help transform the mud pit in our back yard into an environmentally friendly parking pad for two cars. He hung out with me back there while we discussed designs and details. When he drew up the design, I was blown away by the beauty of his ideas. He knows what the landscape is capable of, and has the vision to bring that out. His team laid brick pavers and surrounded them with a gorgeous stone wall. We absolutely love it, and it changed the quality of our living experience.

Avalos did a fantastic job on my retaining wall, as well as repairing my wooden garden stairs. Communication was excellent, the workers were efficient and polite, and they left the job site immaculate. The pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely hire them for my next hardscaping project.

The retaining wall was completely rotted. The Aavalos company built a completely new 8’ tall increased the number of wood required for the foundation. Used best wood and best pipes. Did beyond what a company is required. He treated it like it was his own house. They came on time. They all worked in harmony. Left the property clean. I would rehired them again without hesitation.

Alvaro and his team built a retaining wall and regraded our backyard to help with water drainage issues, replaced a chain link fence with a lovely wood one, moved some hedges for us, and sodded our yard. They were great! Even before we got a quote, I was so impressed with the level of understanding, detail, problem-solving and communication during the initial consult. So it was great that the quote was very reasonable and competitive. He continued to stay in touch with us at every stage, working with us on our choices and even FaceTiming with us from the store to show us different options as some of our preferences were discontinued. Not only was he actively involved and it was clear he enjoyed his work, but we appreciated that he looked out for his crew, and it seemed like they also really enjoyed working with him. We highly recommend!

Alvaro (manager) and his team were awesome. We had them install a rock border around our fence, among other jobs. As someone who has hired a ton of contractors over the past year, this team stands out. They were responsive, flexible when I added additional projects on-the-fly, and, most importantly, their work met my exceedingly high expectations. It is rare to find folks who can complete a project to my full satisfaction...Avalos Stone and Landscape did.

Absolutely thrilled with the retaining wall that Avalos built for us. They were the most competitive quote by far, and they worked very hard to get the project done. Alvaro, the owner, coordinated the removal and reinstallation of our AC Condenser as part of the project, handled the permitting, and made the process very easy. His team worked hard, including on a Saturday, to get the project finished before a large rain storm.

I would hire them again in a heart beat.

We cannot say enough positive things about Avalos Stone & Landscape. We hired Alvaro and his team recently to install terraced retaining walls on our property, to manage steep slopes that were eroding dangerously. Alvaro stood out from other contractors for his evident enthusiasm for his work- not only was his quote the most competitive, but also he took extra time to research our particular structural concerns and used the results to actually talk me out of a more expensive product. His willingness to engage in additional work and conversations with us stood out from other offerors, and we were glad to hire him.

Alvaro was also very communicative about his process, sourcing, and scheduling, helping us feel less surprised by the inevitable pandemic-related delays. Even with those, he scheduled his team to work with us weeks before we were expecting, and they completed the first portion of work ahead of schedule. The entire team was friendly, prompt, and professional- and did beautiful work. The walls are absolutely gorgeous- including aesthetic and functional modifications Alvaro made on the fly (and consulting us)- all to a result even better than expected. We are thrilled for the slope stability and new planting space, and neighbors have been stopping by to ask for the company's contact information! The remainder of work is yet to be completed (due to pandemic-related sourcing delay), but given the professionalism and quality of work to date we are not concerned about the wait. We're looking forward to it!

My mother's front and back needed a good mowing and cleaning. I am happy with the results. It has been a very bad year for rain and weeds. Now, I can sit outside and enjoy my yard.
