We were referred to Kitchen and Bath Shop in Rockville for our kitchen and bathroom renovation. Logan was extremely helpful and had great products at a great price. The next best thing about meeting KBS, was they referred us to Korgun and Korsolid!

Not only did both Logan and Korgun patiently help us work on the design, both of them came out to visit for further ideas, and to take the measurements. Logan handed us off to the very capable Korsolid team.

I work from home, so I got to know the team pretty well over the month they renovated on our home. That was the time estimate Korgun gave me for our project, and it was exactly one month when he finished the last "Punch List" items.

From the start it was obvious that Logan knew his cabinets, and that Korgun was the wizard who made it all come together. Once the project was handed off to Korgun, we all stayed in regular communication.

Korgun has a strong foreman, Mike, and a team of amazingly responsible and talented workers who can do it all. We saw each other daily, kept in touch, and tag teamed on getting necessary supplies so work was not delayed. Korgun made suggestions that improved upon the original design. His ideas didn't cut corners, but were often practical and a better fit for our design/use. These suggestions ranged from grout colors, height of cabinets, to adding a piece of quartz to trim on the shower edge, seat and shelf.

During the project there are always things that come up, but Korgun and his team rolled with things. We would discuss and immediately take action on the solution. We also realized we needed to paint related rooms and we came to additional price that was fair. Top notch work, consistent and clean work crew, delivered a high quality result, on time and in budget, what more could you ask for?! It is rare to find so dependable, affordable, and talented a contractor as you will when you hire Korgun and his crew. Highly recommend them!

We found Korsolid from Kitchen and Bath Shop. We were looking to remodel our kitchen and master bathroom and saw quotes from four different shops. Korgun from Korsolid were not the cheapest but they were reasonable and comparable in price. We appreciated Korgun giving us an itemized breakdown of costs and walking through the costs. He was professional, respectful, and felt like a trusted advisor. We were able to complete the renovations in our timelines, despite the COVID-19 shutdown. We were very happy with the final product. The quality was evident and Korgun took care to ensure the work was done well. Whenever we were in doubt on a design component, Korgun had the experience to advise what we should do and we liked the outcome. When in doubt, in Korgun we trust!

Korsolid did a very high quality renovation for us of kitchen, wooden floors, electrical lighting, and three bathrooms. Stripped down and replaced everything. We are very happy with the results. They did the job quickly (two months all together). All contracting work highly competent. Design is not necessarily their strong suit, though they will 'fill in' if you don't wish to make choices in particular places. Should be prepared to make sure the design is what you want: they are not a 'we do all including perfect design' type of renovator. They will pick up all that is necessary from the providers themselves: do not need to actually bring materials. They worked with us throughout the process and were patient when we asked for revisions in a few places. They were responsive to our questions and concerns. They did many extra things beyond the workplan for additional cost. We negotiated the original contract with them and got a fair price. We felt the extra things sometimes the price was too high: need to negotiate extra things with Korsolid if those are desired: each extra item should be negotiated separately.

I first heard of Korgun when our daughter and husband had a porch renovated at their home in DC. Korgun transformed it from a very dated and dingy room into a beautiful and functional space that matched the taste and style of the rest of the home. Several other family members also had Korsolid Construction do work in their homes.

When we needed some renovation work for our home it just made sense to call Korgun. He and his team did an exemplary job and provided creative solutions to some tricky situations. We were so very pleased with the results.

Korgun and his team did a great job on our screened porch and deck. They were skilled, dependable, easy to work with and responsive. We now have a sturdy and beautiful screened porch and deck to enjoy for many years!

Korgun did an impeccable job on our master bathroom remodeling. Thanks to his attention to detail and know-how on old buildings like ours, we finished the project without any problems. He started w/ installing right level of subfloor depending on the plumbing jobs required and reinforced our studs for the new shower door we’d like to use. He made everything that we’d wish happen. He and his team left the workplace clean, and keep their masks on at all times as a Covid-19 precaution.

We now have an amazing bathroom that we are truly cherishing. Before and after pictures show the laborious and amazing transformation.

Amazing work by Korgun and his crew. We had our first floor flooring fully re-done, and he was instrumental in the choosing of materials, paint, and design. Flooring was installed well, and the crew went above and beyond to work through the weekend and repair some other oddities previous builders left behind. A solid job well-done. Can't say enough good things about this crew.

This review is a bit delayed, but hopefully it’s a testament to the fact that Korgun's wonderful work stands the test of time, and just as beautiful a year and half later! -

In July/August 2019 my wife and I chose to go with Korgun (Korsolid) among multiple bidders for our basement-remodel project. And we are very glad we did! Korgun was highly attentive and listened well to our needs — which included sectioning the basement room into two livable area — one for music / relaxing , and the other half for the exercise / gym area. Korgun did a great job designing and drawing out the new model so that we could visualize the new spaces better in multiple perspectives! (Think 3D). We went back-and-forth via email and phone (Korgun was very responsive via either means) as we refined and tweaked things in coming up with the final design.

Once we gave the green light to go ahead, Korgun and his team went to work quickly … they demolished the tired old stuff and installed fresh new dry wall and construction; his electricians putting in new recessed lighting, concealed storage via sliding doors, and much more (note, we had no plumbing in the basement, so I can’t speak to that aspect). In general, his team was punctual ; they showed up exactly when Korgun said they would, and everyone was hard-working. And they completed the project well on time!

Overall we are stoked with the final results (even today - a year and half later!), and also the individual choices of flooring, paints, recessed lighting, dimmers, just about everything that was installed for our “new” basement! Korgun even installed the audio wires in the walls and the ceiling for my new 7.1 Dolby Atmos system. So the entire home theater/sound system worked perfectly after we plugged it in, and we totally love the hidden speaker wires for that nice clean aesthetic look! The before-and-after transformation was surreal, and we have got a ton of compliments from friends and family for our “new basement”!

I can’t say enough nice things about Korgun or the work that he and his team has done. If fact, our basement has been a haven to spend time in … for a quiet retreat, or to conduct work and Zoom meetings, or exercise in the gym area, especially during the pandemic over the past year. We are very grateful to Korgun and the Korsolid team for honest communications, diligence, work-ethic, and beautiful results; you will be too!

When we started talking to contractors, we were pretty sure we were asking the impossible: a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel including new floors and updated electrical to be completed while we were out of town for a few weeks. But Korgun got it done and we are thrilled with the result. He offered great suggestions like moving the door into the garage that really helped double the usable space in our kitchen. The worst part of our house became the best. The only bad thing is that we have to wait until the pandemic is over before we can start entertaining!

Korgun is professional, honest, fair and works hard to understand and meet your needs. He added a curb less shower to our powder room so that my parents could have the most mobility friendly experience. He was sensitive to their personal limitations (low vision, balance) and discussed different options to ensure the best accessibility for them. They have been thrilled with our new guest room/ guest bathroom option! And we love the little 'jewel' of a bathroom that we have created for our home.

Korgun is knowledgeable of all local laws, handled the permits and inspections, worked around our schedules, adjusted when we had new design ideas, contained the demo and construction mess, kept the rest of the house clean and generally was a pleasure to work with. He even graciously installed a grab bar at the front door since he knew that was on our to do list before my parents' arrival!
