Had a tentative appointment set up on the Friday before Labor Day and backed out the day of.

I had water in my basement, and needed to find the problem quickly. Kastner Plumbing was able to send someone to my property within 2 hours. Their representative spent 40 minutes looking at every water line in my house even though he believed that the root cause was the sump pump. After he found no other potential problems, he installed a cast iron sump pump and away the water went.

The dispatcher was very personable and the tech that came out was professional and friendly. Kastner is one of the few companies that I actually put their magnet on my fridge should I ever run into other problems.

We have been using AVS and Mike Kastner for more than 20 years, and everything they have done for us has been professional and timely! They have always had our highest recommendation!

Mike has done great work for us both in responding to a flooding emergency (blocked drain) and in replacing our old copper system with PVC. He's always personable and professional and we've come to think of him as a friend.

Needed a plumber on Saturday of Christmas weekend or we would be without water for the holiday. I called Mike and he was at our house within a half hour. Fixed my problem for a very fair price. I will use him again for any plumbing issues and I recommend him proudly!!

I live in a house with a well. Since I moved in 5 years ago the water pressure has been lower than I would like. Last year I called a plumber and he did a filter replacement and adjusted the pressure valve, neither of which helped. The pressure started getting worse the last couple of months so I called AVS based on Google reviews and recommendations. They came out on time (actually 5 minutes earlier than the 2 hour window I was given!) and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Water pressure is now high and exactly what I was hoping for. Great service!

We have been using AVS for years. They are a "6". They are reliable, efficient, courteous, helpful, and they do excellent work. If there is a major issue they will deal with it that day, even though they already have a full schedule. I have referred them to numerous people. They had to repair numerous plumbing problems created by the contractor's plumber. We used them to do the hook-up when we had to replace our well; to do gasline work in the kitchen and greenhouse. I couldn't be happier.

We commend the services AVS performed on our home's well system last week. Bottom line: INCREDIBLE JOB! Mike replaced our 29-yr-old well pump - and the new one is working fabulously now. Things were a little scary the first couple of days after replacement, because the pump was tripping off after several minutes of run-time, and was sending up gobs of rusty mud into our system. But now that a week has gone by, and the well has settled down, the pump is running excellently, the water is clean, and the well output is fantastic. I just ran a test this morning, resulting in the pump running trip-free for 30mins at wide-open throttle (6.5gpm @50psi), sending up clean water. And this means that the well itself is yielding good - amazing after 30 yrs. So, things are not scary anymore, and my wife and I are now satisfied that our water system is in great shape and is reliable. That's a good thing, because we are going to be visited by several house guests later this month who will be using a lot of water. Anyway, we want to thank AVS for doing a magnificent job, and we want to particularly recognize Mike for his extremely personalized attention to our situation... he helped us stay grounded through the "scary" time. His professional knowledge in wells and plumbing is impressive. And his friendly & jovial attitude was a breath of fresh air. We'll be sure to tell our friends and neighbors about AVS and the good work you do!

I moved into a house in an area that has very hard water. I decided that I had to have a water softener. I asked one of my neighbors if he had anybody to recommend. He said he did and that he had had a water softener installed by AVS Plumping and that they had done a very good job for him. He gave me their telephone number and I called and made an appointment. The owner of the company came out, looked at everything and told me that most of the plumbing for the water softener had been installed and therefore the plumbing job would not be very involved. Thus, I made an appointment for them to come out and install my water softener.

A very pleasant young man, Jared, came out and set about doing the necessary work. Within about three hours, I had an installed and working water softener. Jared was very thorough about the way he did his work. Everything was neat and cleaned up when he finished. And, the bill for the work was very reasonable. I highly recommend AVS-Plumbing. They do a very professional job for a reasonable price. What else can a homeowner asked for? It is very nice having condition water rather than what I had before.

We have been using AVS for several years. The efficiency and professionalism are beyond excellent. Mike and Gary are the most talented there is in plumbing and heating. We are blessed to have them for our plumbing and heating needs. They are better than the 5-star rating. It is refreshing to know there are still a few honest old school pros out there.
