I "inherited" this company from the people I bought my condo from and am very happy I stuck with Best Chimney Services. The technician who initially inspected my chimney was very thorough and patient. Rather than automatically cleaning and charging me, he pointed out that it didn't need to be cleaned now. I hired them again to do a camera scan and the same technician came. He went out of his way to try to address a sound issue with the rain cap. I will definitely hire Best Chimney Services again in the future and encourage my neighbors to do the same.

He was extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and meticulous in his work. Aria and Reggie were so helpful, responsive and informative throughout the process. Very reasonably priced for the work they did. I have water leakage above one window close to Chimney. I contacted Best Chimney Service and scheduled an appointment. Dave came to my house on time. He checked the window location, the attic and the top of the roof with his drone, he told me that my chimney has no leak and doesn't need to be fixed. Dave and his crew are very nice, patient and honest. I will definitely use Dave for my Chimney service next time.

Best Chimney did a great job installing our SS flue liner and a new chimney cap. They shared pictures showing the sealing of the liner at the top and bottom of the flue when they were done. The price was very fair, and the crew was professional and courteous.

For 10+ years we were unable to use two fireplaces in our house, due to smoke problems. We repeatedly asked chimney sweep companies to find the problem but were told there wasn't a problem other than, maybe, poor draft, which was never an issue previously. We called Best Chimney and the problem was fixed. It was expensive, but we expected that, and now we can use the two fireplaces. Very very happy with the quality of the work. Thank you!

I recently had my chimney vent fixed by Best Chimney, and I was very impressed with their service. The technician was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions. He also made sure to clean up any mess before he left.
I would definitely recommend Best Chimney to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable chimney service. Here are some of the things I liked about their service:

Get a second opinion. They inspected three flues in one chimney. One flue for oil, two for fireplaces. The fireplaces were barely used (maybe 15 times each tops). They said there was extensive damage in each fireplace flue and recommended installing a heat shield for 3.5k a pop. They said the bricks in the oil flue were deteriorating and recommended a liner install for 2.5k. The entire quote was 12.5k. Had another company come in and said the two fireplace flues were “immaculate” and the oil flue just needed a clean. They cleaned all three for $750, saving me 11k.

I understand that Best Chimney may have different standards, but quoting a 3.5k fix each for two barely use fireplace flues might tell you all you need to know about this company.

They assessed the job and rebuilt our 100 year old chimney stack, the leaning tower. It was a 16 inches too high with crumbling mortal and leaning precariously. In two days the job was done, cleaned up, great assistants, quiet, respectful, prompt. Not cheap but I never want cheap, I want good and reasonable. I never chose the highest or lowest price, no guarantee either will be good. How we were treated made the difference. I had one company that I had worked with before and very well known. they would come from Canton for $250.00 to assess the job and if hired would NOT apply the consultation/assessment towards the job?! Lost their #. It is worth the peace of mind and few extra dollars with professional and nice people to do the work. Will have them back for the back chimney, pointing and flashing repair and other services. Very satisfied. Thank you, Lynne and Scott Anderson

Great hard working team, the chimney work looks great and the piping in the cellar for the oil burner looks clean and neat. The team was friendly, and cleaned up the area Well, really nice all around. I would highly recommend you to anyone needing chimney and or flue lining service. They also provided before and after photos of the work. Really nice.

Representatives of Best Chimney who provided me the original estimate and also did the installation were professional, friendly and answered all my questions ... top of the crown. Responsive, responsible, professional and courteous. They inspected our two chimneys and provided a detailed estimate of what repairs and treatments were recommended: including time frame and costs. They repaired what was necessary and within our budget. The job was performed as promised: on-time and within the estimate even though they did a few extra tasks such as power-washing the moss off the nearby walkway and driveway of one of our chimneys. Highly recommend and will use again in the future. Great company

would like to thank Rich with all his help in scheduling and response to questions and logistics given a new furnace was being installed the day after the liner install. Both installers were particular about the quality of the install. The only suggestion would be to consider the amount of the fee for permitting which excludes the cost of a city/town permit.
