We have been using Hartney Greymont for our foliage needs for over 40 years . We really appreciate the way they have maintained our trees during this period .

Hartney is the premier tree service company in the state. I've had the pleasure of working with Patrick Boyle and he's always my first call whenever clients of ours have questions about their trees. Our most recent experience with Pat & Hartney was after a stone delivery truck scraped a large chunk of bark off of a beautiful old oak. Pat came out, assessed the situation, and explained the concept of bark tracing to help the tree recover. A week later one of his experts came out and meticulously carved away the damaged, crumpled bark and I'm convinced saved the tree. Thanks Pat & Hartney!

Hartney greymont, with Jon Quinn and his team, were able to take down a large, lightning damaged pine tree in our front yard and grind the stump down in one day. Their responsiveness from beginning to end was excellent. Thank you

We recently had trees removed due to the storms. Jonathan came and gave us an estimate on the spot. We were very worried the broken branch will snap anytime and cause a lot of damage to our house since it was very close to our house. He handled the process very effectively with reasonable good price. He also gave us a very helpful advice to preserve the oak tree. Cutting tree is a very difficult decision. I am very happy to work with the him and Hartney Greymont.

With the many clientele companies have today I didn’t expect Adam Beck to remember our first meeting when he came to asses my Beech Tree and also helped me with my newly purchased water fountain that I could not get started but he did. Three months later visiting a neighbor he said hello and asked if the water fountain is working and if I noticed improvement on the Beech Tree. That sealed the deal for me. He is my Arborist going forward.

Hartney Graymont work included cutting and shaping of large arborvitae type trees. Work crew did a great job and we’re very happy with the results.

Adam Beck was very knowledgeable and great to work with . He answered all our questions about the treatment for the Emerald Ash Borers professionally and in language that we could understand! We look forward to seeing him next year!

I hired them at the beginning of this tree/shrub season. They assessed my needs and each month I get detailed reports of what they found and how they dealt with the problem. I really appreciate the information. The customer service has been great.

We recently worked with Jonathan on our new house to design plants all around the foundation. He did an amazing job of hearing our preferences and creating a plan for us. Mike Tilton and his crew came Friday and installed everything flawlessly. They were extremely professional and left the job spotless. Everything came out perfectly and exceeded our expectations. Jon Quinn and Hartney Greymont did an excellent job planting a hedge at the back of our yard to give us privacy and something beautiful to look at. It was a complicated project which involved a swing set and my neighbors fence. We wanted something that would grow and last a long time and Jon did a great job picking out the right trees. His team did a great job installing them and they are bigger than expected! Hartney is also helping us with the maintenance. I would definitely use them again!

Jon was able to give us a detailed estimate quickly, was knowledgeable about our trees and plants, and a pleasure to work with. His team completed the trimming within two weeks and was very professional and polite to us and our neighbors. They safely removed branches from three large trees along our property line opening up lots more sunlight in our yard just as we were hoping.

I live on Great Plain. I see their vehicles every morning, driving by around 7-7:20 AM. They are speeding, almost without an exception. This is when our children go to school, and huge trucks driving down Great Plain doing 35+ is not safe.

Slow down please. Trees are famously immobile. They’ll still be there if you are 5 minutes slower.

Jon Quinn was awesome to work with. I received cheaper quotes elsewhere but chose Jon because of his extreme care and attention to detail. In my 20 minute consultation, I learned more about my trees and garden than in living in my house for 8 years!

We have used Hartney Greymont over the years for tree removals and periodic pruning. Their team is always very professional, prompt and provided excellent service each time.

Recently, I noticed our Magnolia tree had been invaded by a white foamy substance. Jon Quinn very quickly diagnosed the Magnolia scale problem and a treatment program. Their team responded quickly and came out the following week to start treatment. Jon also provided recommendations for longer term care for trees and plantings to improve the overall health of our yard. Hartney Greymont is a highly professional organization that we have come to trust with our tree health maintenance.

A month or so ahead of the work, we really appreciated Jonathan’s willingness to iterate with us until we had a proposal that met our needs. Communication about the likely service date was timely.
After the crew did its first day of work, Jon returned to the site and was very customer-oriented, listening carefully to and noting down our observations on what was still needed to complete the job to our satisfaction (e.g., pruning higher levels of the trees and having a bucket-truck to reach them). After the crew returned for a second day, we let Jon know that several small items still needed doing. He returned two days later to take care of them himself.
We’d definitely use Hartney-Greymont again.
