These guys were FANTASTIC. After a DIY fail my husband and I ended up needing an electrician at 7:00pm to restore our power. After calling Ideal, Bobby was to our house in 45 minutes and fixed our issue in under an hour. And the reasonable price blew me away, especially since another company quoted me hundreds more. Thanks, guys!

I highly recommend Zolotas Electric!! They helped install some recess lighting in my new home. They were very informative throughout the process and the final product was amazing!! It changed the ambiance of the entire home!!

I have had some really good electricians and Greg is by far the best. Responsive, attentive, caring. He wouldn’t even leave until we made sure everything worked. He got back on his ladder after putting it away to help me with a camera install issue (not on him but on the product). I can’t recommend this guy enough for anyone looking for their next forever electrician. Very kind for a Boston person as well. 10/10 excellent work!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Zolotas Electric on several projects at our home in Beverly, and I can’t speak highly enough about their honesty and integrity. From start to finish, their service has always been fantastic!

Greg always takes the time to talk through our ideas and made recommendations that improved the end results and helped save us some money along the way. He also proactively informed us of any potential surprises when quoting a job, and kept up with communication so we we’re always in the loop of any changes that needed to be made along the way.

It’s clear they have our best interests in mind, which is something we truly appreciate and is one of the reasons why we will be using them to eventually upgrade our service to 200 amps and possibly put in a mini split in the future!

I had a fantastic experience with Greg from Zolotas Electric! He replaced a walk-in wardrobe ceiling light with six flush mount spotlights and did an absolutely amazing job. From start to finish, Greg was responsive to all my questions, flexible with scheduling, and punctual. He completed the work within the estimated time and left the walk-in wardrobe spotless. It was truly a pleasure working with him, and I’m looking forward to future projects. Highly recommend!

Saturday night, 5:30pm, and i notice that the power to my heat is out! I called up to see about getting an appointment, but instead they talked me through the troubleshooting and we solved it over the phone! Incredible service, far exceeded my expectations. Definitely am going to call again when it is time for the barn-wiring project scheduled for the spring.

This man always works with me. He gets the job done and his prices are more than reasonable. He gets busy sometimes and I will call other electricians. Everytime I do it never works out. Either they try to charge me my house or what they say they need to do doesn't add up. This election is the only one I know that also covers the wholes back that he puts in the wall or ceilings. Love him and I will be his customer until he goes out of business.

We recently had "older" Steve from Sylvia Electric install two ceiling fans in our home. There was no current fan so the units had to be wired. Steve and his helper did a great job. They were prompt, clean, expert, and reasonably priced. Steve also took some extra time to help us troubleshoot a 3-way switch that had been giving us trouble. The fan in our master bedroom was directly over the foot of our bed. There was not a bit of dirt on or around the bed. We would gladly recommend Steve and Sylvia Electric!

When I bought my current home in 2013, the younger Sylvia removed the old k&t wiring; rewired, installed wired smoke/ CO dectectors, and installed ceiling fans---he did a good job. When the first smoke detector went haywire after a few days, he replaced it after a couple of phone calls. When other smoke detectors went haywire, quite a bit later but still within warranty, I called and reached the older Sylvia, who was at a conference. He took my information and said he would get back to me. That was fine--he was at a conference, but he didn't get back to me. He said the same thing the second time I called and the same thing the third time I called. Finally, I called another electrician I first heard about through a plumber. The electrician was wonderful---prompt, efficient, skillful, helpful, very affordable. I am sorry I cannot recommend Sylvia contracting. Contractors remain responsible for the work they do through the warranty period; otherwise, their work is unacceptable.

Sylvia electric is absolutely amazing! We had an issue with a blowing breaker on a Friday, had an electrician come out who couldn't figure out, and then called Sylvia on a Saturday morning. Within 2 minutes on the phone, Steve told us what to check and do, and we had the breaker fixed. He didn't even have to come out...which is saying a lot since someone who was physically here couldn't figure it out! We will be calling him with ALL of our electrical work from here on out!
