We found Huy Tran through Google Reviews. The reviews about his work were outstanding and now I can understand why. Mr. Tran responded to my call right away and came by to look at the job the evening I called. Through email we worked through the estimate and clarification of the work. He got back to me in a timely fashion and addressed all my questions clearly. Mr. Tran arrived with his team on the day and time we planned and the completed the work in under one day. The work was done well and neatly with great respect for our home. Huy and his team were friendly and respectively, especially appreciated in the small space of our home. Huy made sure that I understood the work that was entailed and the impact on the surrounding areas (e.g. removal of drop ceiling tiles).

I am so glad we found Mr Tran. He made the process smooth and easy. If you have electrical work, do not hesitate to call him. You will be glad you did! We will certainly be working with Huy again in the future.

Huy was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He was very efficient with his work and what had to be done, ensuring everything was safe and up to code. The worst electrician ever. He initially gave me a reasonable price. However, he subsequently tried to add unnecessary cost to my project at a significant cost installing a hood vent duct and roof opening for 3500$ (see screen shot) . When I declined those additional cost, he postponed my projects for 2 months. When I confronted him, about finding a replacement he canceled my permit. (See attached images). He's a nightmare to deal with.

In the future, make sure you have an end date in your project contract.

Very reliable and trustworthy electrician. I’ve had two outages and Huy has always prioritized me as a customer. If you’re in the Quincy area or south shore, definitely consider him for all your electrical fixes and maintenance.

Tady came to our house for an emergency repair to replace/update our rusted out meter socket, along with replacing the down service wire, grounding rod, proper house grounding around the water meter and water main, and our aging 125amp electrical panel. He did a fantastic job, showed up on time, provided clear and considerate feedback on our wishes, and was very respectful of our property. We were so impressed that we had Icor Electric return to do much needed updates inside the house including rewiring our kitchen and entrance mudroom, wiring of additional circuits and outlets to those two rooms, wiring, mounting and installation of 4 ceiling fans with switches in 4 different rooms, installation of exterior flood lights, and rewiring of basement outlets and lighting wiring. They also did a few additional modifications to get us to code "on the house" which we were very thankful for. We highly recommend Tady and Mike. They are on our short list of contractors we would not hesitate to look to for future work on our house. Thanks guys!

My house,built in 1884, was in deep need of an electrical upgrade to bring it up to code and allow us to safely use anything requiring electricity. There was hardly anything in the house that hadn’t been done by either a friend or a relative. Tady Came in and gave us a game plan and clear understanding of what needed to be done to bring our house up to code and meet our potentially future electronic needs. It was an expensive investment that was way past due and we are totally pleased with the end results! The job was done with minimal fuss and mess. Tady was able to answer all our inquiries and made adjustments based on our requests (for example, I found an overhead entry light to bright and he replaced it with a dimmer.). We ended up with many more convenient outlets, overhead lights where we never had them before, hardwired smoke and CO2 detectors, Outdoor outlets and the ability to put in car charging access if we ever go that way. Extremely slow to have recognised that I was lost as far as lighting. So after trying to explain what I was looking for, to my surprise, no help was given. If you need guidance, this us not the place for you.

I'm always happy with the attention and service at the parts counter and in the showroom. Conscientious people who care.

I went in and inquired as to why my LED lights made noise and asked what would help lessen the buzz and was told by the lighting associates "we are not electricians."

True, the lighting sales people do not do any of the wiring. BUT they should know about the products they sell. And be able to help come to a solution. Otherwise they are order takers. I can go online for that!

When I went back to return the product they suggested, I was told the $100 dimmer was not returnable because it was "used". Yet, the person still gets to keep the sales credit for a product that they suggest would lessen the loud buzz.

The simple solution to my buzzing lights were higher quality bulbs. About $5-$10 (candelabra and sconces) per bulb depending on the base size.
