The best !!!!!! Perfect in every way

Tom answered our call after normal business hours and arrived very promptly, under the time he estimated. Very pleasant, professional and quick. I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him in the future! 10/10

Came in a timely manner. Did a neat excellent job of removing my old leaking water heater and installing a new tank-less on demand heater. Removed the old unit and cleaned up afterwards. All at a reasonable price. I had previously used him to update a master bath and would certainly use him again.

This was the third plumbing job that Tom completed at my home. Every one was done professionally and at a reasonable cost. Tom is a "go to" guy and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber in the Merrimack Vallry.

Tom did a great job at installing our water heater. I was very glad we hired him. What I liked about Tom was that he was the guy answering the phone, doing the work, and responding to emails. I didn't have to go through a middle man. Tom also gave us a very competitive quote for the job and took the time to go over any questions I may have had. I would gladly hire him back for any plumbing or heating needs we may have in the future.

The services we've used them for are: hot water tank hook-up to bypass old solar water line, removing/capping a toilet, removing/capping a small vanity sink, removing/capping a large laundry basin sink, and installing a new washer/dryer hook-up.

They adhered to COVID related precautions, including social distancing & wearing a mask in our home.

We've used Heavy Doody Plumbing for a couple of projects in late 2020 and early 2021, and each time they did excellent work on jobs that turned out a bit more complicated than originally expected. The short version of this review is that you shouldn't hesitate to use them for any of your plumbing needs. They are patient, responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and have reasonable prices.

The longer review is below, for those who prefer more insight.

In Fall 2020, Brian came out to hook our hot water heat up properly, after we had 40 year old solar water panels removed from our home. He arrived on short notice, was knowledgeable and quite patient with a number of questions we threw at him about how our set-up would work without solar panels. We are newer homeowners, so he took extra time to explain how our system worked, and gave us a few tips on keeping things in our furnace room running smoothly. The transition was seamless, and we had no issues with hot water once our roofing company removed the solar water panels.

Given the quality of his work & expertise the first time around, we asked him back in late-December to provide a quote for removing/capping off a toilet & small sink in our laundry room, removing a second large wash-basin sink that was next to the washer, and installing a new laundry hook-up. He came out within a few days (it was around the holidays), and was able to give a quote within a day of looking at the work that needed to be done.

A few days later, the main sewer line in our home clogged, causing a leak in the floor & wall. Brian was amazing through the whole issue; he was responsive to urgent messages sent on the weekend and recommended a local company who would be able to remove the clog right away. When it became clear that the drain company may have issues with the toilet, he swung by while they were here to offer to remove it early.

His team came out again the following day to complete the rest of the work, including installing the new laundry line. They were respectful of our home & covid precautions, and ensured everything was working properly before they left. They also alerted us to some very old termite damage they spotted while removing one of the sinks. We already knew about it, but it was nice that they cared enough to show us a few things that needed repairs.

The only small thing that we encountered was that their drywall patchwork was rough around the edges, but frankly I didn't really expect it to be perfect, because it isn't a plumber's area of expertise. A bit of drywall mud & paint and you'll be good to go.

Overall, they did great. I was impressed with their work, prices, and attention to homeowner concerns/needs.

Callled for service, never called back

They handled a tap repair in our office restroom. The technician worked quietly and finished faster than expected. Everything was tested before they left, and the invoice matched the original quote.

​Our pool plumbing repair involved fixing a leak in the heater return line that was wasting a lot of water. The technician was very familiar with our specific brand of equipment which gave me a lot of confidence. The repair was clean and the system is back to normal.

​The pool plumbing repair they did for us solved a mystery leak we’ve had for months. It turned out to be a valve seal that was slowly failing under the deck. The technician was very thorough during the evaluation phase. We can finally stop topping off the pool every three days.

Had a toilet repair done after constant running kept driving up our bill. The technician evaluated the issue, replaced a worn part, and tested everything before leaving. It wasn’t rushed, and they answered my questions patiently. Service felt professional and well organized.

Had my pool plumbing checked before the summer season. The plumber did a thorough inspection, pointed out minor issues, and completed repairs on the spot. I liked that they explained everything without rushing. Good service and knowledgeable staff.

Incredible experience. Curtis gave a very reasonable gasfitting quote that not just won, but DESTROYED the competition in our bidding process. He laid nearly 80 feet of piping across our garage, through our terrifying crawlspace, through our basement and up into our kitchen, and even provided attachments for future gas appliances (we were just getting a gas stove to start) — all in just two days. He also made the final connection, coordinated the inspections, AND even followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy with his work.

And as an added bonus (for those who believe animals have the best judge of character), our notoriously cynical dog warmed up to Curtis right away. 1000% recommend!

Curtis was very helpful over the phone to try to solve our hot water not lighting issue. He came the next day and fixed quickly. His concern for our safety made me feel comfortable with him.

Curtis Dale, of Dale Plumbing arrived promptly today. He and his assistant Caleb, were polite and professional. After assessing my leaking radiator he found it to merely need the tightening of a “washer”. The boiler was fired up to ensure the problem was solved. Curtis was extremely knowledgeable and I would confidently recommend his services to anyone needing plumbing services.
