Having been referred to call Pete Connolly several years back, he has been my HVAC go to provider since then. Over the past 4-6 years, Pete has installed a Heil central A/C compressor, a Mitsubishi H2 mini-split system and a new Ruud forced hot air by gas furnace. He has also expanded his services to my brother in Amesbury for new HVAC systems. Pete is a true professional, very transparent and one great guy to work with!

This is one of the better HVAC guys out there. He’s honest, polite and great at what he does. I definitely recommend 4 Seasons to family and friends.

Mother's Address In June of 2021. The Cost of this
installation was $11,000. In June of 2025 we were having
problems with one of the zones of the system. Peter came
out and added refrigerant on June 18, 2025 as the upstairs
A/C was not working. Within a few days the system was not
working again. Peter was away on vacation for 3 weeks.
When we contacted him again in July he came to the
address to try to diagnose the issue. On July 22, 2025 he
discussed a refrigerant leak in one of the condensers that is
under warranty. As there was a heat advisory in place
starting on July 24th, I asked him if he could prioritize the
work. I received a text message back which stated: "Sharon.
I just gave a bit of thought on your question about my
availability. I have definitely been juggling my time between
travel. I’m 66 years old and have been giving up my income
from my every day installation schedule to try and help your
mom as best I can. To be perfectly honest with you the work
I do for her situations are a third of what I make every work
day. I have tried my best to save her as much money as I
can. You are worried about her but never gave a thought to
getting something temporary or moving her to the working
first floor. Now you want a recommendation for someone
else that will come there at their convenience and will more
than likely only want to replace everything. And will not care
about the 5 hours I spent trying to get your mom something
under warranty. I have 8 hours at 150 per hour trying to do
the right thing. Keep that money and I’m out. Good luck with
everything. Please don’t contact me for anything from here
on out"

A business should not advertise services if they
don't want to do residential work. He was also negligent in
allowing an Elderly person to go without A/C for over one
month.

Highly recommend 4 Seasons. Installed a new a/c system for me - quickly, efficiently and reasonably priced. Peter went above and beyond - can't say enough about this company!

They made sure that we were never without heat, even lending us a part to keep our old system going until the new one could be installed. Quick to respond to questions. Willing to stop and offer assistance to complete our virtual inspection for our MassSaves Rebate. Recommended!

Peter is friendly and professional. He has done all types of plumbing projects for us. One Christmas Eve our water heater decided to flood the basement and he walked us through how to shut it off. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Peter & Steven did a nice clean job installing my new five head Mitsubishi mini split system. All in all this took 4 days to install and now I am waiting for the Massave rebate that was submitted last week.

My wife and I recently purchased a home in West Newbury believing that we would have to replace the oil boiler or switch to an entirely different heat source (heat pumps). Peter quickly diagnosed the problem and offered a cost effective solution. Peter and his son Steven were communicative, tidy, honest, professional, and most importantly kind. Knowing that my wife was pregnant they went above and beyond to help me with tasks that were difficult to do on my own, such as moving a mattress and taking down a piece of sheetrock. We are more than happy with the work that was done and will continue to use 4 seasons for all relevant projects in the future.

Peter Connolly is the coolest and warmest HVAC guy! We called him in to evaluate installing AC in our 1840s West Newbury house - no easy task! He was great to work with right from the start. Patient working through options, answering questions along the way and flexible in working around the other carpenter we had working on one of the walls where one on the mini splits needed to be mounted. He’s responsive, reliable, and honest - something that seems sadly rare these days. It’s not easy for us to outsource work on our home as we’ve done most of it ourselves in the past. I’d hire Peter back in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything Peter!

4 Seasons is exceptional. They are very personable and efficient. Super respectful and polite. We love the new heating and cooling system that they installed. It’s much more efficiency and comfortable in our home. Talking with neighbors about quotes, we also found the pricing to be the best! We recently had an issue with our thermostat and he fixed it the next day. Highly recommend!
