Scott and his crew came to re-wire my kitchen and in doing so, found some old and dangerous wiring issues from the previous owners! They quickly addressed the issues without gouging us price wise, and we can now sleep better knowing the wiring is safe. And the work in the kitchen came out amazing. Scott responded very quickly when we needed help with a chirping smoke detector at the top of our 16 foot ceiling. He was very professional and prepared when he arrived as well as personable and friendly to deal with. We hired Colonial Electric at our store Adam’s Variety in Quincy, and their work was excellent. Scott was incredibly helpful and understanding of what we were trying to accomplish. We had been looking to install new floor outlets and extend some wiring through the ceiling, the work itself was quick and clean with no issues. I do not often do google reviews but I was so pleased with this company that I had to post a review. This past Fourth of July weekend I had an emergency electrical issue where half my house was without electricity. I left a message for Scott and who returned my call. He listened to the issue and told me to call National Grid as there a reasonable chance that’s where the issue could exist and this would save me a service call. Scott told me to call him right back if this was not the case. Long story short I had to call Scott who then arrived at my house within a half hour. I feel very fortunate that Scott quickly found the issue which easily was a fire hazard and took care of the problem in a short span of time. Scott is a top notch professional and any future electrical needs, Scott will be the contact for me.
