Very large selection of plants and gardening supplies. Some items can be a little more expensive than in other places. Very helpful staff as well.

I picked up a gazing ball for an amazingly low price. Springtime of the year no less! Fast & friendly checkout too.

Friendly staff, well-stocked. They always seem to have some kind of plant you cant find anywhere else. This is where I got my celery seedlings this year, as well as pineberries and shallot set.

Flowerland is a bit of a misnomer. They have trees, many Christmas things during the season. We have purchased flowers here many times. Outdoorplantschristmasland might be a better name. Marginally expensive, but knowledgeable staff.

I asked a cashier if there was someone who could help me pick out flowers. She repeated my request back like it was odd. I said if there is no one that can help it ok I can go somewhere else. she said yea, sorry. ...so that was my experience 😕

Not a big fan of this place. In three visits over the years staff always seems indifferent bordering on rude. They have a pretty big selection of items but you're kind of on your own to wonder through the place aimlessly unless you want to deal with the staff.

Apparently, they are completely reworking the product layout in the store. Nothing is where it used to be......very hard to find what you're looking for. Will probably be very nice when complete, but at the moment it's a bit chaotic.

Passing through town, we decided to stop to look for a pot and stand for a Hindu rope plant that is huge. We found something even better than we expected. We're managing to haul it home in the back of my Envoy.

Great selection and priced! Todd was super helpful when we were picking out plants! He knew a lot about the plants.

Good selection of items to get your garden looking great this spring. I was here to pick up a pick up full of mulch and their prices were competitive with other places I had been earlier that day

I should start by saying that I am not much of a plant/flower person. However, my wife and I have started buying a variety of plants for our apartment and we have gone here for most of our purchases.
Last month we bought a house plant and also had them pot it for us. Just this week we noticed small, white, fuzzy bugs on some of the stems. I called and spoke to the store manager and she told me that we had melee bugs. She said I could bring the plant in and change it out for another one right away. I did not have a receipt nor had I worked with her at any point in the past. This made no difference at all as I was treated very kindly and had replaced the plant the same day.
I love the selection and expertise available and plan to be a repeat costumer.

September 2019 Update: Thankfully, they have stopped posting the pet tags. I appreciate that move. I’ve been really impressed by their houseplant health and selection this year, so I’m updating my review.

I was Googling houseplants while shopping to see which were safe for cats, and I noticed a tag on some of the items said "Pet Friendly" when the ASPCA and other sources said that those plants are absolutely 100% NOT PET FRIENDLY. This could be very dangerous for someone who doesn't verify the safety of their plants. I tried to approach a worker to let them know, but they ducked and dodged me - and I swear it was on purpose. I took down some of the incorrect tags, but really wish they would either do proper research, or not use the tags at all.

Always a great place to find garden supplies. This week I only purchased bird seed. They have the best choices

The store is clean. Not much in the way of inviting though. What merchandise they do have displayed is on the pricy end. Just three other customer were present. Saw only two employees and neither acknowledged my wife, or I. A third employee; at the register, was kind and courteous to us when we checked out. By the looks of things, this store that has been around for many years, just isn't pulling in the shoppers anymore, and this was on a Saturday. I assume this store does it's best sales in Spring and Sumner for outdoor gardening and landscaping. Sadly, I won't be surprised to see this store shut down if those type of sales dwindle.

Always great selection and healthy plants. One of the best places for indoor plants in the area with some rare and hard to find plants often stocked up.

Good store and helpful folks. Only complaint is high prices. For example I was checking for BioAdvanced 700740M 24-Hour Grub Plus for Lawns Ant, Tick, and Insect Killer. They sell it for $27.99. Other stores sell for $18-19. Manufacturer sell it for $21.

One of the best stores in Grand Rapids, MI for holiday decor..Especially Christmas ornaments. The selection is varied, in style and in price. Right now, there is a 25% off sale going on for many, many of them. It has been a destination for my Christmas shopping for years.

I regret purchasing anything from here!!. The prices were high comparatively, but my husband spoiled me with purchasing some plants ($250) for our anniversary. Including an $80 rose tree and 2 rose shrubs. The tree never came back this spring. At checkout the cashier told me to keep my receipt because there is a year warranty. Upon going to the store to inquire about the warranty a girl tells me they don't cover roses, only until October of the year it was purchased. ( purchased June 24, 2017) years I asked if there was anything they could do since it was such an expensive plant that died. She said NO.
I'm shocked that there is nothing they would do, and really saddened that my gift from my husband is dead and a lot of wasted time and money! I have purchased many, ( probably over 50 plants elsewhere) . They all had a year warranty no questions asked. Which I've only ever used once. I take a lot of care with my garden. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and wish someone would've tried to make this right.

Local plant and flower store with wide variety of healthy looking plants, flower and landscaping items. Patio furniture, birding supplies, seeds and most things needed for landscaping. Not really a discount type store. If you want the absolute lowest price maybe consider lower quality stores. Great and frendly staff.

This was the rudest most unhelpful shopping experience I've ever had! The cashier didn't want to give me a piece of tissue paper to put over the large hole in the ceramic pot that I bought. She told me I had to go buy one back by the house plants and she called someone to go back and help me. No one came. So I bought a plastic drainage pot and had to cut out the bottom of it to make that work. Then I asked her may I borrow your scissors for a second. And she said no she didn't want to ruin her scissors so she was going to look for the crappiest pair she could find. And she gave me a pair that barely even cut the flimsy plastic. Very rude not helpful at all! I am a florist and shop here often. But will not from this day forward
