Thank you, to Jeff Doyle, Matt Esper and your excellent crew. Beautiful job trimming 8 mature trees, as well as feeding the root system. They arrived timely, completed the job in about 1hour, and cleaned area up. I would highly recommend MLS tree service, thanks again Jeff, Matt and crew.

Jeff and his crew that worked at our home in Canton, MI were top notch. They made helpful suggestions and recommendations for trimming our trees and they turned out beautiful. The were careful when working around our perennials under the backyard tree and everything turned out terrific. We would not hesitate to use them again and would also recommend them to anyone looking for professional tree trimmers.

MLS tree service was the best. They came on time got the job done and made sure my yard was all cleaned up once they were finished. Jeff gave me the best price compared to other tree services I highly recommended them !!!!

We hired Jeff, Matt and the MLS crew to come out and trim two trees and grind down two stumps. There is a lot to like about MLS Tree Service, and we already recommended them to another friend looking for tree trimming/cut downs. Here are some of the key things to like:

1) They did a GREAT job trimming the trees and grinding the stumps. The trees looked beautiful after they were trimmed up, and we're both so happy to be rid of the stumps.

2) Awesome team! Matt Esper is a great arborist, and just a really nice guy. He was really great to work with, did a great job on the trimming, and seemed to do a really good job with the crew of guys out at our house. The guys on the crew were all really nice and good to talk to and good workers.

3) We did really feel like we got more than our money's worth. Without prior knowledge, the team was willing to do some extra hauling and chipping of ~25 pine branches we had trimmed ourselves.

With that said, there were some things that we thought could have been done a little better:

1) Jeff came out VERY promptly when we inquired about a quote - which we appreciated. However, he told us that he would get us taken care of in the next few days... we did not hear from Jeff or MLS for over a week until we called. They then told us they would be out the following Monday, but it rained Mon-Wed, and then we heard from them late Friday afternoon that they would be there the NEXT Monday. All in all, it took around 15 days which was quite a bit longer than the original "few days" estimate.

2) We felt like the price was very competitive (and they did extra hauling as mentioned above), but when we presented Jeff with a coupon we received in the mail after the whole service was finished up, he immediately got a bit defensive and said the coupon was already included in the quote. We didn't have a problem with this, but it would be nice to tell the customer that up front so that we have a fair expectation to know that we won't be getting anything further off the total price.

3) One of the stumps that was ground down was in a small garden bed, and it had quite a few rocks layered around it as a perimeter. The MLS team threw all those rocks behind them against the fence, got the machine in there to grind the stump and... left all the rocks in a scattered pile against the fence. Not a huge deal, but it was a bit discourteous in our opinion.

Overall, we would definitely recommend MLS to our friends and family as it was a good experience. If there were half stars we would have most likely give a 3.5 star review, but just be sure to address some of the things listed above and you will be golden!

What a great company! When Owen and his crew came out and assessed my needs, they got the job done quickly and efficiently. And it was priced fairly! Highly recommend!

Wanted to like this company however after awarding the one day job over a month ago we’ve been pushed off repeatedly and then as of the 9th the day we were supposed to be getting the job done (after a month of being patient) we got one text saying we’d get a call back they were having truck issues and then since then it’s been 11 days of no contact even though I did reach out again asking if we could simply get the job done this week since we are on week 6 of being patient. I have yet to receive a call or text to confirm or even drop the job.

Edit to add Jeff please in good faith do not act this way as the entire communication with you was in written text and I did everything you asked of me the entire attempted business relationship and you failed to communicate in the end resulting in the review. I was in town the week scheduled you blew off and you never called to explain while I was on vacation and I even reached out after I got back and you still never said a thing. You never asked for a deposit or left any contract despite coming by multiple times with it in hand: I will stand by my 1 star review after this and will continue to share our story to everyone who asks for referrals due to your response trying to blame me for the end of the business relationship.

Very pleased with MLS Tree Service!

I needed two large shrubs/trees removed in my front yard. I emailed them on a Sunday and they called me immediately to go over my request and were at my house Monday morning to provide a quote. I told them I’d like to proceed and they had the job done later that afternoon! Both trees and stumps removed perfectly.

These guys are clearly professionals on all fronts!

The crew from MLS is awesome. They came to help our neighborhood with our park cleanup that we do every couple years. They have awesome equipment and the professionalism to get the job done right. They transformed the look of the park with the tree work that they did. I would strongly recommend them for any kind of tree work you might need done.

So wonderful to find a contractor that shows up on time and exceeds expectations! I enjoyed a great experience as the MLS team expertly trimmed a very large maple that was encroaching on my roofline. They also treated all of my trees with root feeding. Quality, competence and a good value – I won't hesitate to have MLS take care of all of my tree concerns.

Jeff and his team removed 3 trees (grinding the stump down) and trimmed trees that hung over our backyard from around a creek. The job was done flawlessly. Jeff was prompt to return our phone calls, communicated frequently, and handled all business related to the work promptly. His knowledge was obvious upon meeting him and I felt confident in the hands of his team. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Jeff Doyle and his crew were timely and very responsive. All areas were trimmed, yard brush cleared, and selected trees were given treatments. I am very pleased with the service and the clean up. Recommend this company and the crew highly.

We opted to save our tree from being removed and have it fertilized and the dead branches removed instead. It took awhile to get the tree trimmed due to weather conditions, but the MLS owner, Jeff Doyle, consistently answered our calls and came through on his promise to provide customer satisfaction. The MLS crew did an excellent job of trimming our tree at the best possible price.

I called Jeff and he came to give me a quote within a couple of hours, the next day Matt and the crew showed up and started the work, they did a better job than what I had expected trimming the trees over hanging onto my house.
They were very professional and left the work area cleaner than they found it.
My first experience with a tree service and I was not disappointed in quality, appearances or price.

These guys were TRUE Professionals!!! Great work! Offered Great advice! Cleanup was spot on. The price was much better than other quotes we received. I can't say enough about this team of guys. Do yourself a favor and look no further for your tree service needs.

Jeff is truly an arborist. This was demonstrated by the precise pruning of my very large, wounded, "legacy" Black Walnut. His instructions and working with his team was very impressive. The team was: spot -on, skillful, polite, with an excellent clean-up. MLS has my highest recommendation. I have used others - they tree cutters not an arborist like MLS. Jeff and his team were quick to come out to our home and did an amazing job of removing the tree quickly and safely. Jeff provided fantastic communication throughout the entire process and we would absolutely use MLS again.

We had "The Best" experience with MLS Tree Services!
Came home to an extremely clean well dressed yard today. Asked to have some old overgrown trees removed from the side of the house and —— went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right! The trees were completely removed stumps were ground down and all debris was removed from my property as if there had never been any trees there at all. The team was on time and efficient. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend their services. Great job!

Jeff and his crew at MLS trimmed and removed several trees at my house in canton the work was performed very professionally. His crew very easy to work with and very willing to make my wife and I happy. Their pricing was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

Jeff came, assessed the health of our trees and explained in detail the steps he would take to bring the trees back to good health. His team came as scheduled for the feeding and treating of the trees. Within one week, my wife and I could see a noticeable difference the appearance of the trees. We also had MLS Tree Service remove two trees and trim overhanging limbs back to our property line. The team did an excellent job with the trimming and cleanup. We look forward to doing business with them later in the year to perform the major tree trimming for our remaining trees.

FANTASTIC!! I cannot stress enough how professional and courteous Jeff and his entire team were. I have a few ornamental trees that needed trimming and feeding and they did an excellent job. Jeff was so prompt in both his communication and coming out to give me a quote. I was very impressed by his knowledge, identifying an issue with one of my trees immediately and he also provided references and proof of insurance without my even having to ask. They were out within the week to complete the job and his guys were terrific. Super friendly, incredibly efficient and did great work. They went above and beyond and even did a few extra things for me. It can be so rare these days to find that level of service and professionalism and they exceeded my expectations! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!

MLS Tree service has gone above and beyond my own personal exceptions that I had based off of previous experiences with other companies. I had some trees on the side of my house that were in desperate need of care and Jeff Doyle was knowledgeable on his craft and took very good care of them. My experience with MLS was quality, efficient, and very well priced. I would recommend MLS Tree Service to anyone who asks me!
