Water Damage Restoration reviews in Taylor, Michigan

Servpro did mitigation on our home several months ago and when we were struggling to find contractors for the repairs, we gave them a call. They quickly sent out a project manager for the estimate and hired contractors for the job. Everything went so smoothly. Dawn, the project manager has great communication and made sure that I was satisfied with the work. We’re very happy with the results!

This particular shop is terrible! They came out and took care of the initial problem which was water under my crawl space and then they did such a good job I decided to hire them for the rehab and rebuilding. They were able to Bill my insurance company for everything else but not able to Bill my insurance company when things got strung along for the back door and now they are taking me to court for a $500 door avoid this place at all costs. They charged me $2,000 for a $500 door that I had to locate myself and put charges on my account without my knowledge never asking for money just adding saying that they've waited too long stay away from these people!

Estimate and contact person lead me to believe I was going to get quality work. In reality work was done fast and poor. Not all listed in estimate was completed. Was charged the same. Carpet was pieced together with multiple seams. Not the work I thought I was getting. Simply said, if it is a small job. Be aware that you may be cheated on the work. I was very disappointed. Work complete but would not use again.

I couldn't be more happier to spend time in our basement instead of just running down quickly to do laundry, thanks to Mr. Richard & Mr. Darryl. There were some hiccups in the initial service call appointment & we were considering canceling the project. However, Mr. Richard & Mr. Darryl walked me through the process, made sure I understood/agreed to the service that would be rendered & worked thoroughly yet with a sense of urgency. They did an outstanding job covering our laundry machines. The outcome literally has made me smile for the last few weeks! Thanks again ServPro

I had an insurance claim and they contacted servpro to handle the mitigation portion of it. The project was done fast and poorly. They ripped out my old vanity and left the lines leaking. I had my new vanity next to the bathroom to be replaced not knowing it was leaking and the whole bottom now has water damage. I called to get this fixed the lady on the line was talking to me like I was stupid and told me to contact plumbing. Absolutely not when it’s leaking due to servpro improperly removing the old vanity. The project manager Jeff doesn’t return voicemails. I would highly recommend staying away from the company. I spoke with progressive who stated they have a contract with Servpro and they take complaints extremely serious. They need to be held accountable and they will be.

I did not use the business. It was somebody else’s home that I was watching over as for the fellas that did their work. I believe their names were Travis and John, both of which were consummate professionals and nice people to work with. They did a wonderful job of helping to remove all the carpeting that we had to take out. The removal of all materials and drying up the basement for Mr. Daniel they did a great job Again I thought they were fantastic

Dave and Alex from ServPro were super helpful in the in-person clean up of my flooded basement. Dave was always sure to give me a call when they were on their way to my house, and provided me with updates whenever necessary on the progress that they made. They were both very professional, and didn't hesitate to explain things to me when I asked them questions. Highly recommend them. Thank you again!

My basement had a sewer backup and flood. Travis and Jonathan came out and responded. They were very kind, thoughtful and skilled. They showed me the before pictures and told me what they were going to do to remedy the situation. They worked tirelessly and respectfully around me and my tiny dog. They always remembered to close the door so my little chihuahua did not escape. They worked very hard and thoroughly. I was shown the after pictures and was pleased with the work. It looked and smelled wonderful. They kept me informed the whole time. They had very positive attitudes and I really appreciated that. Highly recommend these two!

Alex, Travis and Steve were all very helpful. This is the first time I’ve ever had to go through my insurance company to make a claim. Alex communicated on a regular basis and let me informed of the step by step process. They were courteous and did a great job with water mitigation and demo of the damaged areas in my home. They also did an immaculate job cleaning up from the demo.I would definitely recommend Servpro and this crew in particular.

I needed a company who was responsive to come out and board up the doors on a property I am responsible. John M. Made himself available to answer all of my questions in a moments notice. He also was able to work around the need to put half down on the job as I needed to pay upon requesting the service. He was able to allay my request to Mark in order that we might transact the service I needed to complete the job. I would highly recommend them again and John M. Who was exceptional made the transaction seamless and trustworthy to work with him. I give them a 10 overall.

I shared a not so good review of my service with the company. We have talked and disagreed on the final adjusted payment. We did both agree that the crew should have finished the job they said they would do. For that reason they reduced my payment. I have since deleted my first review and am happy with this decision. I probably won't call them again but I appreciate that they called me back and reconsidered my situation

Was completely satisfied with everyone I had contact with. Don who came out to extract the water from our flood and get our basement dried out was extremely pleasant, professional and was able to answer all our concerns. James the project manager came out for an estimate was also pleasant to work with. The only reason we decided not to have them re-do our basement was the fact my husband had a couple weeks off and decided to do it his self. Otherwise we would have had them do it. Their team showed up very promptly, even though it was memorial Day weekend. They were polite, efficient, and knew exactly what to do after our catastrophic flood. I highly recommend them.

Servpro was contacted regarding our water damage by our insurance company. From the start of the project to the now completed project, they've been amazing! Rick Long our project manager was supportive, detail oriented, professional, friendly and an extremely hard worker. He knew exactly who to call to get the project done completely and thoroughly. Tyler and Quinn from Red Fox Renovations spent many hours on the project from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with the results! Thank you to all involved and for understanding how stressful these situations can be.

Updating (4/20) to add that Jerry and CJ delivered our contents home yesterday. Again, they were very professional, helpful, careful with our newly restored furniture, and did great problem-solving on the job. I would definitely recommend the teams from SERVPRO of Romulus/Taylor!

SERVPRO was high level from the start. Donnie and Steve made the process too easy. Both were personable, communicative, and professional. They treated me like family and you could feel that they cared.

Jeff came right out and assessed what needed to be done. Alex and Eli came in and did an excellent job. They were professional and courteous. They explained each step they did and went over and above. Would definitely recommend them!!

Overall I am very satisfied. Project manager extremely helpful and caring. Project took too long. Did not give a 5 star because of flooring company used. They finally finished the job to my satisfaction.
