We had a great experience with Finished Basement Company. Great design ideas, transparent planning and scheduling, and a project manager we saw nearly every day. Their subcontractor partners were professional, considerate, and highly skilled. Most importantly, they finished on time and on budget! They went beyond my expectations given other renovations and contractor experiences we’ve had in the past.

We had a great experience working with FBC and love living in our new space. The project was done on time and communication throughout it was very good. They incorporated all the design and functional concepts and made our home a more open and modern place for us to enjoy over the years.

We had a great experience with FBC while finishing our basement. From the design process to material selection to the actual execution of the project, it was a well-planned and well-communicated process. Their app included a day-by-day schedule plus our project manager provided daily updates and photos which were great!

We worked with FBC to design and build our dream basement... and they delivered. Our home is a1926 bungalow with 900 square feet in the basement and it was unfinished. This project is so beautiful we don't call it our basement anymore. It is now our lower level. They added an epic primary suite that includes a walk in closet, a shower, a bathtub, dual vanity and a toilet. It is a statement piece and all of our friends have been ccommenting on how beautiful it looks. That is kudos to the design team Katie and Brooke, and to our Project manager Brian and the trades. FBC also added another powder room for our entertainment space. We added a bar, a billiard space, and a tv room. They removed a structural beam so we could have a pool table in the space. All of the trades we polite, professional, and delivered on what was expected. They were clean as well. Any questions we had throughout the process, we had a team of professionals to answer our questions. This project went through the summer and was right on time with the expectations that were set. Also the project came in on budget as well. I have the highest praise for FBC and think that anyone that is serious about doing a renovation project, you should 100% hire them!

We had a great experience updating our basement with FBC Remodel. FBC provided strong design advice to update our old Minneapolis basement. The project management met or exceeded all our calendar and quality expectations. Trade partners were professional, clean, and high quality. We were very pleased with the end result of our experience with Finished Basement Company. Erin was a very thoughtful designer who took into account our interests and came up with a plan that worked for us. Their project management team kept things on track. Even when our project manager was unexpectedly pulled from the project, FBC responded quickly with a replacement who was up to speed immediately and still delivered the project on time and on budget. The craftsmanship was excellent, and we love our basement.

FBC managed all aspects of our basement remodel. They created a fantastic design and the finished product looked virtually identical to the graphic visualization. Our project supervisor Josh came by the house almost every day and gave us updates with pictures daily. The FBC was proactive in communicating and following up and generally made the entire process easy for our family and as unintrusive as possible.

We just completed our second project, in five years, with Finished Basement/RE and we could not be happier. Our first project was our basement, and we had the pleasure of working with Lyndsay on the design and Nick as project manager. Lyndsay has an incredible eye and took the time to get to know us and our style. Nick was excellent about communicating with us and kept the project running in an efficient manner. In fact, the project was completed before the deadline.

Most recently, we worked with Amber on the design of our kitchen remodel, and again we had a fantastic experience, as she was tuned in with our vision and helped to piece all the details together. Spencer was our project manager this time around, and he was such a comfortable presence to have in our home on a daily basis; and his daily communication and commitment to completing our project on-time, was excellent.

Honestly, each of the individuals we encountered through this company, came to be like family while they were working with us. Having strangers in your home, on a daily basis, can get overwhelming, but this team made it so easy. Even my kids looked forward to their visits.

We had a great experience with FBC when they remodeled our basement. Our designer, Jean, was incredibly helpful providing 3D designs leading up to construction and Veronika, our project manager, kept us up to date every day with what happened and what we could expect next. We could not be happier with the end result and had a great experience with all the staff we worked with.

We LOVE FBC! This is the second home we have used FBC to finish the basement space. We worked with Brittany and Gene - an amazing team! The attention to detail and design were excellent, even adding an exercise space and a large storage area which we didn’t think we would get. And the project manager does just that - manages the project. We always knew what was going on and if we had any questions, he got back to us right away. We had excellent communication throughout the project. They listen to the customer and exceed your expectations!

Our basement remodeling project has been a delight from start to finish!Our designers (Amber and McKenna) and project manager (Nick)were all excellent communicators and very quick to respond to any of our concerns. They created a great design that fit both our needs and our desires. Our project was delivered on time and we were given daily updates including pictures on what was accomplished each day through their use of the app Buildertrend. The workmanship of their trades was excellent and our project manager was there consistently to facilitate the constant progression. Our project included a theater, lounge, game room, billiard's room, kitchenette, and bathroom. They exceeded our expectations through their personal service, communication, and quality construction. We would love to do another project with FBC!

Very happy with the results of the remodel of the entire main floor of our home. The initial discussion of ideas and creation of a 3D model was excellent working with Lindsay and Katie - - the models were even updated to show material options or selections so we could truly envision the end result before construction began. Material selection was made much easier with expert input. Katie did a great job of listening to our input and providing a several options to pick from, this made the process much less overwhelming and resulted in a great end product. Our Project Manager, Tyler, did an amazing job of keeping the trades moving according to the schedule and keeping us in the loop - both on plans, progress, and challenges. He was always responsive to our questions, input, and requests. He stopped by nearly daily and made entries in the BuilderTrend app to keep us appraised of the project. When challenges did arise (as they do for any sizable remodel) Tyler worked to reach a solution that left us happy - sometimes the solutions even presented opportunities to make our design even better. An example of this was an unexpected pipe behind a wall that was discovered during demo, resulted in a shallow spice rack cabinet that we hadn’t thought of initially - now it is one of the little cool features we are so happy ended up in the design. There are always things as a homeowner that we point out or want explained/addressed in the middle of a project, Tyler always listened and responded in a timely, thoughtful way and our concerns were always addressed appropriately. Tyler was excellent as a Project Manager and provided exceptional customer service. We are 95% done with our remodel and we are very pleased with our project and the service provided by FBC. Would absolutely use FBC again and would recommend them to anyone doing a remodel.

Finished Basement company just finished our basement remodel. First the basement turned out fantastic. Just exactly as we would have wished it to be. We were right on time and the project manager kept us up to date on everything that was happening (Spencer - who is fantastic!). The designers Jessie and McKenna were so great all the way through the process. They really listened to us and what we wanted for the space and gave us a 3d design that was so spot on! We have done a remodel in an older house before and it was fine - this was exceptional! I would use FBC again for any work I had to do and would recommend them for your work. My husband and I used FBC to finish our basement and we cannot say enough good things about working with them. From the beginning, Amber helped create our vision and helped us tweak any changes. It was so nice to see a 3D model of what our basement would look like and to visually see any ideas we had in the planning stage. Nick, our site manager was great at communicating what would be happening each day, asking if we had any questions, and responding to anything we mentioned to him.

We were very impressed with the quality of work that was done, from the fireplace stone and mantle, to the bar and bar backsplash. The people they hire to do the framing, mudding and taping, painting, tile, etc. do excellent work and are very professional.

Honestly, we are thrilled with our basement and so happy we worked with FBC! The project was done on time and we are enjoying our basement to the fullest!

We recently finished a bathroom / basement project with Finished Basement Company. They were competitive on pricing, and delivered on time as promised (they actually guarantee it). We have done two projects now with them, and its' clear they have made substantial improvements over the last 3 years. Our first project turned out great, but we had some bumps during the execution phase (this was in 2016). This second project (bathroom / basement) went extremely smooth. Our designer, Jean, was awesome to work with. She has endless knowledge and is able to make changes on the fly. She has great sense of space and what will work well, we really appreciated her expertise. For those that don't know - one of the best things about FBC is that they do really cool digital renderings of your project, so when you decide you want to make a change in a finish or move something to somewhere else, they can tweak it and send you updates immediately. This allows for changes to be made at certain points throughout the process. They even did color printing and pasted on project boards we kept in the project area for inspiration Our Project Manager Nick was awesome. he kept all the trades to their schedules, and was able to accomodate changes along the way and coordinated trades to minimize extra costs. He obviously cares about his team and the quality of the work they do, and it shows in the finished project.
We would definitely recommend FBC, and will be considering them again on our next project.

We remodeled our basement in 2018 with FBC and the experience was so positive that we hired them to remodel our main level when we moved into our new home in 2021. With a project of this scope it was invaluable to have the initial design meetings to incorporate our vision with the designers ideas. This was followed by subsequent design meetings to meld the two. The 3D renderings are priceless in visualizing what different options will look like. Lindsay and Katie were able to get an idea of what our style was quickly and really helped elevate our original vision. They can manipulate the 3D renderings on the spot to see what different options would look like as well.
Before the construction began we were given a very detailed timeline. Anytime there were changes or delays (which I have to say were minimal, especially with the supply chain and covid obstacles) we were notified and given almost daily updates on the progress. Communication is EXCELLENT with the design team and project managers. They are well organized and detail oriented. After the project was complete we had minor things that needed to be touched up and Nick was highly responsive and got the issues taken care of quickly.
We have recommended many friends who have ultimately used FBC Remodel as well for their home projects and we will continue to do so! Thank you Lindsay, Katie, Gene, Nick and countless others for being so professional, reliable and good at what you do.

The Finished Basement Company did an excellent job of taking a bland, new construction basement and turning it into an warm and inviting space that the whole family can enjoy. We recently move and will be using them again to finish the basement on our new house.

Had a great experience with FBC Remodel. We had a pretty good idea of a plan for how to finish our basement, but they came up with an even better concept that we hadn't thought about. The trades they use were all respectful, did nice work, and kept the work area clean considering its construction! Luke, our project manager was very responsive. The quality of the finishes is top notch, except for some chipping paint on the cabinetry. We also really liked that we were able to pick a few items to do ourself (like backsplash, trim, etc)

FBC is a great company to work with! Everyone working here is timely, responsive, and reliable! We appreciate their business and look forward to continuing our partnership!

We had a 12x15 foot unfinished room in our otherwise finished basement. We decided to convert it into a bar. We had previous experience with an extensive remodel and so we knew what to look for and expect. Through the design process we felt that our designer, JIll, was very helpful with good ideas but was also sensitive to our particular desires as well. She was very flexible and understanding with some of our changes that we had midway. Once the project construction was underway we felt that our Project Manager, Jordan, was very much on top of the schedule and was very aware of what each of the trades needed to accomplish. Throughout the process the communication was outstanding and we knew where we stood at every step of the way. At the end of the construction Jordan ensured that all the little items were taken care of to our satisfaction. We didn't have major change orders during the process but those we did have were clearly documented and there were no price surprises at the end. We did not get competing bids but we had enough experience with remodeleling to believe that the pricing was fair given the level of services that was provided. If you want to be your own general contractor to save a few dollars go ahead. I you don't feel comfortable with that or don't have the time or energy then I can highly recommend Finished Basement Company as a great alternative.

FBC keeps their jobs organized, clean and on schedule.The entire staff from design through production team are all great to work with. The final product looks great and as expected.
