I am so happy to report that my front yard is largely weed-free this year thanks to help from Moana Nursery! Lisa Braginton helped me find a great (organic) pre-emergent back in January and explained how and when to use it. After spraying my whole front yard (mostly DG) with it mid-January, I am so please to see NO WEEDS where I sprayed, now that it's early April. Even after hiring a professional landscape company to spray preemergent in previous years, this is the first time my yard has been so weed-free. And I know the stuff worked because I didn't spray my backyard and it's already a forest of weeds. I definitely recommend Moana Nursery for all your gardening needs - their staff really knows their stuff and they carry the best quality products.

Knowledgeable and very helpful. Everything we've bought here has thrived. It's not inexpensive on initial purchase but definitely a value in the long run.

I love moana nursery. It's fun to walk around and take in the smells of the plants. The staff are helpful. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

Added two Christmas Cactus to our home..

There are no irrigation services right now because they are backlogged with existing customers. They did, however, recommend other providers.

Great variety of plants for both inside and outside. Lots of wind chimes, pots, flags and fertilizer and bug defense. Also offer bouquets either delivered or to pick up. Friendly and helpful staff.

Picked up a bleeding heart and some lily bulbs! Love this place

First, we spent over $800. 1 tree( my sister who passed away) and yes ashes and all. 5 plants, of which two survived and with the advised care. The tree which has died within two years is the most in disappointment. It was watered, as they suggested. Then, last year they came out for a drip system consult and charged $100 for telling us, within 15 minutes, they couldn’t d it. Buyer Beware! I guess they have become a little too greedy. Bummer!

Love this place. Friendly Knowledgable employees. Large selection of plants. Outstanding rewards program. Good location. Reminds me of the 60s and 70s when customers are the up most of importance.

So helpful! I kill needy plants so they steered me in the direction of plants that are hardy and do not give up on life if you forget to water them every third day when the sun and moon are in exactly a 90° angle 😆

Super friendly and they know plants!

Great customer service, but honestly I don't understand the music. Everytime I go in, there's music blasting loudly that I can't imagine the demographic that shops there would ever listen to. Going into a plant nursey, I'd rather hear bird noises (as shown on the little tv in the bird section) and running water, or just silence. This environment feels more like a strip mall than a local nursery.

Great selection with a friendly staff. I did ask one of the workers if their flowering plants were free of neonicotinoid pesticides and she looked at me like I was speaking in Greek. So maybe not-so organic.

I asked two people for assistance while I was there, and each one was very knowledgeable, polite, and happy to help. It was a very good experience. I went home with a beautiful yew tree to have something green on the patio when the frost takes away summer's flowers.

Always helpful and selection is the best. Both locations are good; they’ll let you know if the other location has your plants or trees, just ask.

Knowledgeable staff with a great selection of plants! I love wandering around here even when I'm not planning to take anything home that day. 😆 Very inspiring and each location is so different from the others.

So just know if you forget your mask you WILL BE ATTACKED!!! no joke I had a lady come up to me extremely aggressively ( physically) and proceeded to nastily tell me in a very stern voice that I was not welcome to shop at this establishment. They have a strict mask policy (I didn't know beforehand) I would have been more than happy to put one on but not after being absolutely attacked I will never shop at Moana Nursery again.

I love Moana Nursery! The staff are extremely helpful every time I go in. I recently arrived with a picture of an infested peach tree. Jon, the resident plant doctor, patiently went over with me exactly what to do & which of his online videos to watch to help our trees be stronger. Great guy!

The best thing about Moana is the friendly, kind, and knowledgeable staff. The locally grown, perfect for Northern Nevada, plant selection is also top notch. They have a wide selection and great sales.

Some staff could not answer basic questions about plants and had to google search for answers. I expected more

Cool selection of merchandise and plants. Was already set up for Christmas in mid October. Compartmentalized sections of store allow you to see bird supplies, pots, chimes and other similar merchandise together. The only downer was staff who were not very welcoming or helpful.

Upscale nursery with something for everyone! Plants are healthy and strong and come in a variety of sizes and colors.
Moana offers landscape materials and installation too!
Besides all of the ubiquitous plants - so many non-living items for purchase, e.g., pottery and tools, etal.
Did I mention customer service? Staff goes out of their way to be friendly and extremely helpful!
