We hired McLaughlin Excavation to prep an area for a new patio and regrade an unusable area of our yard. Sean did an amazing job and saved on the cost by using our existing material and only bringing in what was needed. He also made sure the rest of the yard was not impacted by the delivery trucks, keeping clean up to a minimum. I would recommend McLaughlin Excavation to anyone.

We had McLaughlin prep our yard for a patio. We ran into an issue where we needed to replace a gas line, and Sean was very helpful with digging the trench for it, and filling it back in, to the specs of the gas company. He also used the remaining dirt to help level out the yard, and cleaned up everything nicely. Sean and his crew really go the extra mile. They made sure the fence was secure for our dogs, when leaving daily and even took all the rocks that were dug up and placed them in a little wall around my garden. I was very impressed with the work ethic and professionalism of Sean and his crew, and highly recommend McLaughlin Excavation!

Sean from McLaughlin Excavation was super prompt, friendly, and even made a point to get my job (stump pulling & hole compaction/filling) done on a Sunday despite him probably having other weekend / family plans. He showed up as expected & followed up with me ensuring not to forget about my outreach to him. Sean McLaughlin and his team were great to work with! They did a lot of work for us. They did all the excavation for a new patio, walkway and stairs. They leveled and put loam down on our whole yard. Sean did all the work he promised. He was very easy to work with. He communicated his thoughts and ideas to help finish the job properly. His guys were on time and finished the project when expected. They cleaned up after the project, leaving no dirt and rock on all the surfaces in the yard. I would recommend McLaughlin Excavation to anyone needing work.

Sean was very flexible and understanding with my schedule (which was really the town’s schedule for issuing permits). Sean provided multiple options to go about the project, as well as multiple solutions (along with their pros and cons) whenever a sticky situation arose.
Sean had excellent communication, never taking more than a day or 2 to respond before and after the project, and typically minutes while actively working on the project. This, along with always having my best interests in mind is what made Sean stand out in a time when its difficult to get contractors to even call you back or show up.

We hired McLaughlin's to help us protect the stone foundation of our house in Tilton that was built into a hill. Sean was amazing helping us come up with the most affordable solution that also left us with a better and more beautiful backyard! Our new retaining wall is just perfect. They came when promised, completed the work on schedule, kept us informed throughout the project and they were sensitive to the neighbors concerns too. We couldn't be happier! If only every contractor provided such a great product and service at a reasonable price! I've already connected Sean to request a quote for another property.
