I had two jobs done in one day. We had a mini-split system installed and a hot water heater installed. I did request an upgraded water heater from what was originally quoted. It was just slightly more expensive. We received multiple estimates and Competitive had the best price. I was happy with the their crew and they did a good job. They had both jobs done in about 6- 6.5 hours.

Called for someone to come service my air because there wasn't enough cold air coming out to keep up with the outside temp. They came tested the lines said gas was not low and that our system was just old and needed a new one soon. Didn't inspect anything in the attic. (granted it was HOT). Basically told us we would just have to deal with it from mid june till we could get a new system.
I didn't really buy that, so I called another company to come out. After checking the gas lines, and going in the attic, he said we were about 2 lbs short on gas. He did say our system was old and wouldn't dump any more money into it. He put 1 1/2 lbs into the system and we have nice cold air now and will get quotes to replace the system in the fall.

Sorry Competitive but that is basic and adding gas should have been at least something to be considered. The second star is for the guy who came out to look at it. He was friendly and seemed knowledgeable but im not about to sweat out the summer with my family.

Edit as response to owner: As we also previously called to clear up any misunderstandings and said: we never refused the technician from doing anything. The technician said something must have happened to the circuit breaker and we said we looked at it already, which doesn't mean we're telling him he can't look at it. The technician didn't even ask again if he could look and just left in the middle of the job (LEAVING THE OUTSIDE ELETRIC PANEL OPEN AND THROWING THE MONEY AND SCREWS ON THE GROUND). Instead of talking about how many years he has worked, your technician should learn to be more professional and properly listen/talk to people. NOBODY SHOULD USE THIS SERVICE!
