We had a great experience renovating our house with Dave at Coli. Dave has a good and patient demeanor, was helpful with design suggestions and was always willing to correct any issues along the way (that are inevitable in any construction project). Project moved along fast and as scheduled and subcontractors were all high quality.

Coli Construction is a phenomenal company that did an excellent rebuild on my house after a fire. Not only did they expertly rebuild my house in exactly the fast timeframe they told me upfront, they also kept the whole thing in budget. The communication was great (thanks David!), and I got daily progress reports and photos. All of the crew were incredibly nice and professional. There were no unpleasant surprises. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I’ve been living back in my house for four years now and am still extremely satisfied with all their work. They made the whole process easy for me. Coli construction was a blessing to us! They did an addition to our home and did a fantastic job. Dave was attentive, detailed, professional and moved the project along very smoothly. He returned calls right away and was super organized.

We hired Coli Construction to build our home. We had evaluated about a half dozen contractors before awarding the job to Coli. During the evaluation process, we found them to be transparent and fair in the pricing, and honest about the timelines on which they could finish the project.

Dave was our foreman and did a great job of managing us throughout the build. While they shared a timeline of when various decisions needed to be made, invariably plans required adjustment and Dave was able to move things around to ensure the work kept moving. We rarely experienced days where subcontractors were not on site getting work done.

We were about 75% complete when COVID hit, which threw everything up in the air. Dave really moved mountains to ensure we were able to move in essentially on time.

Like any large project, not everything is going to go to plan. I give Coli and Dave specifically credit for always stepping up to make things right, even when we may have disagreed on what the best remedy would be.

It's been four years since we moved in, and to this day we still get prompt support from Coli whenever we have new things to take care of - no matter how big or small.

Overall, Coli is an honest contractor, willing to be flexible (i.e. if you have certain subs you prefer to work with), and is about making things right. We'd recommend them to anyone seeking home improvement or a new construction.

We have used Dave at Coli Construction for 2 major renovations, as well as, some smaller projects. Dave is professional, creative, responsive and easy to work with. Home renovations are stressful and time-consuming - no way around it. Especially a large 2nd floor addition where you have to move out. But Dave Rave and Coli Construction made it so much easier. They are reliable, quick (which saved us $$ on rent) and very fair with pricing. You get billed for only the work they complete. We signed a contract months before our start date and work commenced on the exact date agreed upon. Dave has years of experience that is truly invaluable and doesn’t let the subs run the job, which results in even better outcomes for the client. Every single Coli employee I interacted with was very hard working, talented, and respectful. They will fix anything you don’t like, and they genuinely care about their clients! So rare in a construction company. Of course it’s your project/home, so you have to stay on top of it and be hands-on with visiting the property to check on progress - but that is to be expected. So happy we found Coli and will definitely be using them in the future for any home renovations!

Dave Rave is the best! He has done multiple projects at our house on the exterior and interior. A large outdoor overhang/patio project, removal of stone facade and painting of the whole exterior. He also added trim work/shiplap in multiple rooms as well as finishing out a basement nook with drawers, cabinets and countertop. Call him for your next project! On budget and on time!
