Overall we were pleased with Albright's service. They got to our house right away and fixed a good amount of our issues. Workers were very friendly as well.

I had to get an electrician into the house for an emergency. Albright techs got here within 1 hour of my call, were very helpful, found the problem and fixed it quickly, and also explained it every step of the way.
I didn't have time to shop around, so can't really comment on the price.

Terrible, unreliable outfit. Much of the same terrible customer service issues previously noted. My installation took almost a year after a pleasant start that deteriorated rapidly. Furthermore because it took them so long to do the job I lost a free Generac warranty extension. Finally I was just out the other day weeding around the unit and discovered the gas pipe and electric pipe mounting supports both failed and left both on the ground rubbing against one another. Poor service, poor installation quality, don't use these guys.

They did an amazing job. Results were beyond our expectations. Alexis , Yeral and Wilf did a fabulous job and made sure we were happy . I would highly recommend Albright Electric to do lights through the NJ clean energy program or any lighting needs .

Great job on a very large commercial project. The work was done right and passed all inspections, communication is always excellent. Richard is a stand up guy, it’s nice to find a contractor you can trust these days.

I live in Ridgewood, NJ and am in a flood plain, thus a downed power line would cause my sump pumps to stop. I saw an ad for Albright Electric and quickly got an estimate for a natural gas powered generator. The contract offered by Richard Whalen was reasonable in price and short in length. No involved terms and conditions often found when getting estimates.
Albright obtained the necessary permit, constructed a mounting platform and did the inside necessary wiring so that not only would the pumps operate, but also the furnace, freezer and frig plus a few lights. With this system operational should a power failure occur,the generator will start on its own.
Yes, this all was rather complicated, but working with this firm they handled several problems that did occur in a really professional manner. Am I pleased? Yes !
The office staff also was most supportive.
I rank Albright highly since my experience with them was positive.

I forgot about the unpleasant experience we had when we installed our generator with Albright, but last night was a clear reminder. We had a whole-house generator installed about 3 years ago. They were great, until the majority of the payment was sent. After that, tough to schedule, failed electrical inspections, unwilling to show up to meet the inspector, etc. It was a mess.

But I forgot until last night, when we had a long power outage and the generator did not turn on. We called Albright, and the response was, "Sorry... too bad. Nobody can help you. Why don't you try calling Bloomfield Heating and Cooling." No idea why they couldn't be bothered to serve a customer that has spent a lot of money with them. The guys at Bloomfield, who were shocked by the referral, were awesome. Even though we hadn't done any business with them before, they showed up within the hour and got the generator working.

The service and general attitude with Albright is simply unacceptable. Everyone you talk to seems like they are doing you a favor -- too pre-occupied with whatever else they may be doing to actually care about or help you. After our experience last night, I called to try to get the model and serial number of our generator today so we can setup a new maintenance contract with another provider (unfortunately, even though they solved our problem, Bloomfield doesn't service our equipment -- I wish we could give them the business though!) The person we spoke to would try to look into it and maybe call us back later -- she was going to head out to lunch soon. She may also ask someone to look into it tomorrow. I remember several of those type of responses trying to coordinate the install; I'll be anything I never hear back from them. In fact, I promise if I do, I'll come back to correct this review.

Hopefully someone else out there sees this review before working with Albright -- I wish I had seen a review that more accurately reflected our experience of their service. I would not work with them again.

I needed a new power meter due to Hurricane Sandy and Albright did a great job reinstalling the meter and helping to restore my power after 12 days without electricity. The crew was punctual, worked efficiently, and made sure that I was satisfied with the results before they left. I would recommend them to anyone requiring any electrical work in their house.

Anytime Fitness gym is 24/7 with worldwide access. So, I had to fine some ways to save on cost and be more energy efficient. I checked out a few companies and decided on Albright LLC. Lights are now on motion sensors that will help save during off peak hours. The technician Jose was great getting the work done and working around members in the gym. Great service and competitive pricing.

good with the initial installation, how ever i've been trying to reach someone regarding the warranty on my led lights that failed and are still under warranty per the contract on our warehouse in new jersey. i've touched base with Vincent on occasion. i've probably left about 10 messages and dozens of e-mails. it's obvious they are ignoring my requests. the lack of customer service is horrendous. i would definitely not recommend this vendor to anyone who would need to call them back for any reason. and this wasn't the first time trying to get a warranty form them. i've had to deal with this on other occasions after the initial install. ive had 20 lights going out at time every 6 months or so.

really wanted to go with this company for solar. The initial quote was around $25,000, with the option to pay cash or finance at 8.90% for 30 years. When I reached out to move forward and pay cash, I was denied service because they wanted me to finance instead. I was prepared to pay $30,000.

I understand they want to maximize profits, but that shouldn’t come at the expense of customer choice. Not everyone can (or wants to) take on a 30-year loan for a system that itself has a 30-year life expectancy. That means by the time the system reaches the end of its useful life, you’re still paying for it—essentially owning a carcass.
It’s disappointing because I was ready and willing to invest in solar outright, and they made that impossible. A solar company should make going green more accessible, not restrict customers to long-term financing just to boost their bottom line.
