These guys are a hoot. I have never had a bad experience here. Go to a fancy place, find the nice fancy kohler or whatever toilet or bath plumbing fixture you want, then come here and order it. They have better prices than online and face to face knowledge to tell you if what you want is a POS and steer you in the right direction. Is it a pretty showroom? No. Not even close. But it's the quality knowledge and old fashioned business that used to be easy to find, and is now harder than ever to find. Places like this are disappearing because people flock to Lowes or the other big box stores where the people that work there have no clue about what they are selling. Go visit these guys. They are great!

This place is a gem! As a woman, renovating a home is a true nightmare. Sometimes it feels as though everyone is out to take advantage. E.W. Berger is one of the exceptions! We have been doing business with Jay for years. Not only does he provide excellent quality service and pricing, but he is a genuine fount of knowledge for our area and for our industry. Berger has almost all standard plumbing items, and they stock specialty repair items that are unique for installations in Hudson County. Purchasers of plumbing products are lucky to have such a great local supplier.

They answered the phone. They asked me to send pictures of my problem. They sent an estimate. They set up a service date with 4 hour window. Called 20 minutes before
arrival like they said they would. They showed up. They beautifully fixed my kitchen sink. Then they left. They were probably the most efficient company I have had to deal with. The guys that came were so professional and polite. It was strange not to be laden with excuses, not showing up making a mess, etc. I think I’m still a little shook at how effortless they made it😊

Really like how thorough the Cronin team is and patient explaining the work that needs to be done. Used them for a leak investigation and tankless water heater maintenance and will use them again when needed. Very reliable.

I had no water in my 3 family building for 4 days due to the 4th of July holiday. I panicked and called 4 plumbers. One was booked. One diagnosed the problem and told me I needed a new water heater without even coming to the property. Another came over and told me I needed a new water heater for $2k. Pat Cronin came over and saved the day! Within less than 5 minutes he assessed the problem, fixed the issue and the building had hot water with no need for a new water heater immediately. Pat was honest, professional and didn't exaggerate my needs. I'm sure I will need a new water heater, but not today. Thanks to Pat Cronin, when I do, I know who to call and recommend now and in the future.

Pat and his team are my go-to plumbers! They’re very responsive and aren’t interested in ripping their clients off.

When we bought our house a couple of years ago, Pat did our inspection and gave us a discount on the work that needed to be done after we closed on the house. Although there was a long list of work that the house needed, Pat suggested that we start with the most important things and create a schedule for when we’d want to fix the other items within our own timeline and budget. We started with servicing our boiler, replacing the water heater, and repairing some old pipes. The team did a really thorough job and walked us through the whole process. They also provided us with tips on maintenance.

Most recently, after a huge storm that flooded the whole neighborhood, including our basement, we asked Pat to come out and take a look at our boiler and furnace to make sure nothing was damaged. Pat came out, took a thorough look, answered all of our questions and told us everything looked fine. He also didn’t charge us for the visit!
