Carl and his team removed/pruned/planted trees and shrubs for us. They even took care of the bald spots on our lawn without us asking. Carl is very meticulous and knowledgeable in his work. Lumberjacks removed 11 trees in very difficult areas to access. They were very careful to not damage my house, wires and property. They did a great job cleaning up and removing debris. Reasonable and good to work with.

We've had Lumberjack Tree Service do work for us a couple of times. The owner, Carl, answered all my questions and gave me a detailed estimate taking what we spoke abut into consideration. We prioritized what should be done and what could wait for a later date. Our job would not be done for a few weeks after we agreed to the estimate because Carl wanted to wait until our yard was able dry enough as to not make divots. I was impressed that he cared about my property and wasn't just looking at the paycheck. We are extremely happy with the work that was done and how it was done. Honestly, the only way we could tell that work was done is because our yard was cleaner after Lumberjack Tree Service left than it was before they started.

I needed to have a couple of trees removed that were growing to close to the house. I had an estimate from one company to do the job, but due to lack of response I was looking for another company. I found Lumberjack's Tree service business card in a bagel shop in town & decided to give him a call. I called & within an hour Carl was on the property looking at the trees. He walked the whole property & pointed out that I had a few other trees that should be removed because they were invasive. He took his time to explain everything that was going to be done & gave me good pricing for the work. I really liked Carl's personality & his knowledge about trees. Once I agreed to have the work done with Lumberjacks, they scheduled me immediately.
Carl & his crew showed up bright & early ready to get the job done. Carl introduced everyone that would be working the job, which put me at ease. The crew came well staffed with lots of equipment to get the job completed. They cut down the trees, chipped, removed the stump & all debris .
They were quick & efficient and left the yard better than how they found it. Great communication overall.

In the need, the need for speed. Storm Ida came in and we had a 120 foot tree hit the house. Chimney broke with support rafters and floor joists broken. I had to relocate the parents. I had another tree service company take down some trees for us before and they are ususally six months out for work. I was planning on taking down 5 trees but Ida had other plans. I started making calls and my company did not have folks at their place yet. Carl picked up and he had his team show up in the afternoon and got the tree off the house. Parents were living in the woods since 1976 and the woods is now a genuine forest. Living on a rocky, mountain side with wind means trees will be hitting the house. Already dealt with a tree strike three years straight. I had Carl's team rollout over four more days over a two month period. I took a phase approach with the worst big hitters (five of them) and then kept on looking for the rest. The first five were the leaners toward the house due to the open sunlight. Then did measurements and working with Carl, Joe and Herbie to figure out what to knock down. A few trees were chipped but most of them we let them lay flat on the mountainside. This work should have been done years ago but after the last tree hitting the house, dad let go control of the property to me and Carl's team started chopping. Please don't go through a tree strike on your house. It is not a pleasant experience and would not wish it upon my worst enemies. The picture does not capture fully the extent of how many trees were taken down and how massive these were.

Called Lumberjacks Tree Service, spoke to Carl about removing some tall overgrown upright junipers. He came right out to discuss the job. We discussed the job and agreed on very fair price. He returned in about two hours with his men and equipment. In no time the job was done and cleaned up. Carl was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He and his men did a good clean job and took pride in their work. I have never had such fast service let alone someone that answers their phone and move forward with the job. Carl and his team did a fantastic job of removing the trees and stumps we asked for, grading and seeding the property after removal, and cleaning the area.
