Called Mike and Son for an estimate to install a bathroom vanity and plumbing. He didn't show up for the initial appointment, but called the next day explaining he ran late the day before and asked if he could come by to look at what I needed.
I thought he was very thorough and I wanted to hire him.
Took about a week to receive the estimate and after that I never heard from him.
I had to take another day off to get an estimate from a different contractor that I ended up hiring and the work was completed without any problems.
Mike and Sons are not reliable and I wouldn't recommend them for anything

They are family owned and operated as the name suggests and they give you the one on one professionalism and courtesy as a small company would. They can fix most any plumbing or other issue, often at a moment's notice. In fact on each and every time that I've called Mike he or his son would arrive within a couple hours. Our Condo Association has been requesting services from Mike & Son General Contractors throughout the years because they are always responsive and work well. They also make sure the job is well done and are very flexible with time. Specifically Miguel, he has come to our Condo really late at night to help fix heating issues during the winter and goes above and beyond to make sure everything works fine before he leaves. Lastly, they are very professional and respectful.

I picked Mike & son for my kitchen and bathroom renovation after talked to 5 different GCs. They are reasonable on pricing and efficient on timeline. Miguel and his team are very easy to work with and also provided me creative recommendations and solutions to meet my needs. I learned quite a few construction tips throughout the renovation stages. They are very reliable and trust worthy. I will happily use them again for my next project.

We recently hired Mike and Son General Contractor to personalize a recent home purchase. Miguel assembled a complete and skilled team to address all our construction tasks. ie. plumber, electrician, tile, hvac, painter. They were all highly professional requiring no consumer involvement. Their work was clean, efficient, productive and was punctual throughout the entire project. The only delay was due to city inspectors. What more could one ask for in a contractor!

Mike and Son are consummate professionals. I’ve been working with them for 3 years now and they’ve done excellent work on my house. From replacing gas pipes to bathroom plumbing renovation, replacing my hot water heater and most recently installing a mini-split system in one of my units. They’ve done superb work.

This contracting company was fantastic. Mike met me at Home Depot to make sure I was getting the right size cabinets and everything I needed. He gave me a detailed invoice with a fair price. They arrived on the day that was scheduled at the time that they quoted and were extremely efficient with the work. They cleaned up after themselves. They were pleasant and answered any questions that I had. It was just an overall fantastic experience and the installation went better than expected and I was extremely pleased and highly recommend this company for any and all Contracting needs because they were spot on.
