Oh my goodness!! They're so great. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. Chris and his entire team did a fantastic job—they were very professional, and we're thrilled with the results.

Chris came out and thoroughly inspected our roof and our attic to determine the condition of the roof…it was definitely time for a new one! Thankfully the plywood was in good shape so it just needed new shingles and all new underlayments-ice shield, etc. Nickolas Contracting took care of all the paperwork-start to finish-the permit, the certification to NY State standards, etc. The whole project took one day! A whole team showed up at 8 am and worked straight through until 6. All cleanup taken care of…other than a whole new roof, you would have never known anything happened!!
All in all, extremely responsive and responsible-totally recommend!

The workers did an amazing job! They were at our house all day every day. I do not have any complaints. The foreman was always kind and respectful. He always wanted to make sure we were satisfied. The man who we first met to discuss the estimate and what we wanted to have done to the house was so professional. He explained every detail of what they were going to do from the work on the house, to cost, method of payment, their insurance, and the assurance of quality. I felt extremely confident that I would be satisfied with their professionalism before they even began working on the house. After the house was complete I was ecstatic about our new house.

We reached out to NC for siding on our home when we saw them working at our neighbors house. We were so impressed by their fast, incredible clean work while replacing the exterior siding. We immediately reached out to Chris for a quote. Chris was great from start to finish. He was extremely knowledgeable! Changing your exterior is not an easy decision, but Chris was patient, accommodating and understanding even when we pushed out our start date! The entire install team was great. They were timely, worked hard and put in full days. They always cleaned everything up at end of day. The quality of work and overall experience exceeded our expectations, and I would recommend using Nicholas Contracting!! THANK YOU!

Nicholas Contracting did our split-level gut renovation recently. We could not have been happier. Brothers Nick, Mario, and Anthony and their crew of regular workers brought a level of craftsmanship to our project that just isn't seen anymore.

Nick came highly recommended from two neighbors and a local friend who'd used Nick & team for not only their primary home but for their vacation home, as well. Nick or Mario are on site every day work is happening, and they run a tight ship - thorough, quick, and clean.

This was our first renovation, so we weren't always able to articulate our requests in contractor-speak. Nick was especially adept at interpreting what we were asking for, and he was a problem solver who could figure out a way to make our "while we're at it..." requests happen without ever involving our architect. And he has a memory like a trap -- you think your "hey what if we..." questions are being humored, but he makes all of those things happen or gives you a valid reason why it couldn't.

Whether it was huge mechanical projects like plumbing or electrical or intricate projects like tiling and molding, they approached it like the professionals and craftsmen they are. Mario took personal pride in his artistic tile layouts, even surprising us with a pattern in a notch in our shower. (We love it, and it tied the room together.)

Being first-timers, we were frequently overwhelmed with the number of decisions we had to make, from dozens of wood flooring options to hundreds of tile options and dozens of appliances to plumbing fixtures. Nick was able to help us narrow our decisions, but when we just couldn't decide, he would make a final suggestion for us and we were always happy with his suggestion. Nick's network of trusted vendors was always spot-on, and they all know and trust Nick and vouch for his team.

The end result was beyond our expectations. And Nick has responded to every question or request since finishing the project quickly and professionally. We recommend Nicholas Contracting without reservation.

I know this may sound crazy, but I love these guys! Chris made me feel comfortable with the replacement of my roof. He explained everything in detail when we meet the first time and was in touch with me throughout the process. He answered all of my questions.
