Doing a driveway on Clarence Center Rd on 8/2/2019 "men" directing traffic yelling and swearing at cars. Very unprofessional. I would never use a company that has people who swear at drivers work on my driveway!!!!

They paved our newly installed driveway and did a great job! Very happy with the results.

Don't let the shill reviews below fool you. I ordered my driveway last summer. After 45 days of no word I called and asked when they were coming. The owner told me "how about I tell YOU when I'll be there". I should have cancelled right there but I had signed an agreement. They showed up in late fall and did a partial and said they would be back in the spring. Nine months later after signing an agreement I received my driveway. He obviously never had any intention of completing the driveway last year and was probably stacking other orders also.When I spoke to the owner and politely suggested the price was a little high (which it was) considering that I was made to wait for nine months, I was met with a profanity filled tirade saying that his labor and material had gone up and he was angry at me for suggesting such a thing. I related this conversation to my neighbors, some of whom belong to our community association. They will not be getting any calls soon from our community. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. The only reason I gave it two stars is because I finally got my driveway nine months late. Jay Gold is my Google name used for identity protection. The owner below knows exactly who I am.

Our HOA used Loewer Paving for a group buy a week ago.
They provided an estimate, in May, of $1 per sq ft of asphalt topcoat. They finally scheduled 2 days to do the work in late August.

Besides the long delay in scheduling the service, there are many points of improvement for Loewer to consider.
The biggest and most obvious issue I had was that the estimate was very inaccurate. I had to call to receive an invoice, and the price changed by increasing 30%! $.30 adds up quickly when you are purchasing hundreds of feet of asphalt.

When I talked to Loewer about it, it was explained that the invoice was based on the largest driveway of the 16 people in the group buy, and they invoiced everyone the same amount to make it easier for them. He wouldn't budge on his invoice, even though the estimate did not detail any of this information.

I am surprised they can do business like this...

The second issue noticed, is that their work isn't very good. The edges of the topcoat are not straight, and in places, the top coat doesn't cover the base coat. The crew left my driveway covered in mud, even though the estimate details a powerwash as part of the work. Also, the street in front of my house has large tar-like marks that the rain and my hose can't remove.

I can't comment on the character of the work crew, as I was not home at the time of the service.

Just be warned, that your estimate amount may not match your invoiced amount, and be prepared to wait a while for service. I'll find someone more professional and reliable next year when our HOA needs 16+ driveways sealed.

Exceeded expectations, highly recommended! Job was done quicker than originally expected. Was very impressed with the finished product. Paid attention to every detail- including going around the existing landscaping. Office staff was very friendly on the phone and Ken is honest and did everything we asked.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Loewer's Paving, but I will try.
Ken provided the estimate and due to unforeseen work it was a little more than estimated. That is how an estimate works...(comment from review above).
The whole process was smooth. The crew arrived on time and ready to work. I was impressed by the group huddle at the beginning of the job to discuss how the day was to go. This speaks to the team mentality of the crew. The whole paving process was kind of fascinating. Each person on the team knew their roles and carried this out. The end result was beautiful! Before the crew left for the day I was provided instructions on caring for the blacktop and asked if I was satisfied. I was!!!
There are a lot of unscrupulous businesses out there and I have been duped a few times and am very leary of working with someone new. I can honestly say that I will recommend this business and attest to the quality of work they do.

Our previous driveway was a mess. Ken, Keith, and crew did a fantastic job in all phases of the project. The new driveway looks amazing and we are so happy with the results. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Loewer Paving did our driveway many years ago. I had asked for advice several times over the years and always gotten prompt, very prompt responses. This is a well run business!

The Loewer team did a great job on repaving my driveway. They kept us informed and did very clean and professional work with no surprises. I would highly recommend them for any residential paving jobs.

We had Loewer Paving perform a repair the driveway after expanding our concrete pad in font of the house. They were quick to offer an estimate and squeezed us into their busy schedule. Their service was top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

Excellent company & crew, highly recommended! Ken & Keith Loewer are consummate processionals & a pleasure to work with. They discovered 2 problems & fixed them instead of covering them up. Ken wants the job done as if it was his own driveway & gave us a fair price!
